The pool had bandaids everywhere. Even on the second day we came to the pool it wasn't cleaned because all the bandaids and everything was laying around. Also so many hidden charges when you check in

This was our first visit to Great Wolf Lodge and we really weren’t impressed. We took my 11-year-old son and most of the activities included with your stay are geared toward young kids. Anything that would be more appropriate for older kids costs money. We paid for him to purchase a wand so he could do the quests around the hotel, but it stopped working as soon as we got home. We arrived at 4pm and our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait with all of our luggage for over 45 minutes past check-in to get into our rooms. We were given breakfast vouchers which was nice, however breakfast is no better than any other hotel breakfast we’ve had. The food wasn’t warm at all. Our room was clean but had an overpowering smell of mildew. The rooms are a bit rundown and had peeling paint on the walls. At least 2 of the elevators were broken during our 2-night stay. The indoor water park was very clean and had plenty of seating for families however it is so hot, humid, and chlorinated that it’s difficult to breathe especially if you’re not actively in the water. We did appreciate the 21 and over hot tub. The water park is only open from 10-8 every day which was a bummer, especially on our first night when they were behind on letting us into our room. Decent hotel, but really not worth the money unless you have extra to spend on the other activities. They definitely nickel and dime you for everything, including $19 per day for parking!

It is outrageously expensive and having to pay 30.00 to park for 2 nights is too much! There is not enough supervision over the lazy river. Kids are in there swimming without a tube and pushing and being disrespectful. An adult cannot enjoy the lazy river to just float on the tube because the kids are not supervised. The food is expensive.

We enjoyed the waterpark quite a bit lazy river was excellent here. This is the perfect place to play. We were disappointed about the lack of a lounge or a true lobby space to hang out outside the room as well as a lack of a fitness center

This has been a easy experience! Expedia helped me book my stay, and made coming in and checking in so smooth. The staff here has been amazing. They are all so kind. Everyone had a smile on there face, they delivered creamer to my room. I even had a nice janitor man give me some creamer too! Its been one of my best stays anywhere. The room we booked was exactly as shown, and very clean! From the mirrors to every nook its been clean and smells nice too. Even the pool area was clean. The food courts were spotless. Absolute blast for familys

Overall, the experience in the water park was good. However, never visiting a Great Wolf Lodge before but always hearing good things about the place, we were very disappointed and upset to find what looked to be poop on two of our pillows. When I showed the pictures of the pillows to the staff at the check-in desk, I got nothing but an empty “I’m sorry” and was dismissed as quickly as possible. Before leaving the room for the last time, I made sure the dirty pillows were situated in a way that the housekeeper couldn’t mistake them for being clean.

Upon arrival we noticed the shower curtain had what appeared to be poo or chocolate. Pillow cases had hair tie between them. Pull out had no sheets. It felt like house keeping was cutting corners. Sidewalks not shoveled but parking lot was. Room extremely loud. Beds uncomfortable due to being worn out. The waterpark was nice and clean. Pop machine out of pepsi most the day. I told 2 different people. Still wasn't changed out until next am. Probably won't be back but we'll see.

The location is convenient to everything. Staffs were friendly. Outside pool closed. The room walls have food stains and the blanket were dirty! not washed?? There were too many goose poops everywhere in the parking lot, full of bird poops in the veranda and all over the chairs and table (did not even use it).

Rooms were extremely clean, check-in was great with a very friendly worker, and kids loved the water park. We chose to leave the property to eat as there are tons of options less than a mile away.

My wife and I, and our three grandchildren (ages 10, 8, & 4) stayed overnight Sunday into Monday. As with everything these days, prices have increased. GWL now charges for parking ($15) along with extra fees for most anything you want to do on the property in addition to the waterpark. Kiosks in the lobby, to expedite check in, weren’t very user friendly, and ultimately caused me to wait in another line to check in at the main desk. We went to bed at 10:00 Sunday night, anticipating an early start to our last day of fun. Although quiet time (hibernation time as they call it) is from 11pm to 7 am, our “neighbors” didn’t see the need to respect others and allowed their children to run, jump, scream, and slam doors. After about 35 minutes of this I contacted the front desk who assured me that security would handle the noise problem. Another 10 minutes went by and still no results so I got out of bed, went to the neighbors room, politely knocked on their door, and explained the noise issues. Another 10 minutes passed and the noise continued. Another text message was sent to the front desk and again I was assured that security would resolve the noise problem. A short time later I received a knock at my door and was met by two security personnel advising me not to go to the room where the noise was coming from but rather allow security to handle the situation. At 11:25 pm my third and final text was sent because of the continuing noise! This is unacceptable!

Although quiet time (hibernation time as they call it) is from 11pm to 7 am, our “neighbors” didn’t see the need to respect others and allowed their children to run, jump, scream, and slam doors. After about 35 minutes of this I contacted the front desk who assured me that security would handle the noise problem. Another 10 minutes went by and still no results so I got out of bed, went to the neighbors room, politely knocked on their door, and explained the noise issues. Another 10 minutes passed and the noise continued. Another text message was sent to the front desk and again I was assured that security would resolve the noise problem. A short time later I received a knock at my door and was met by two security personnel advising me not to go to the room where the noise was coming from but rather allow security to handle the situation. At 11:25 pm my third and final text was sent because of the continuing noise! This is unacceptable!

About 45 minutes of our time was wasted when we first got there due to being put in a room where someone else was already in the room so we had to drag all of our lugg down to the fist floor to a different room. In that room there was a big section in front of the microwave on the floor that was soak and wet also the kids light in their room didn't work. I did let them know this at the front desk but they didn't really say anything.

Everything was good but the rooms. Very average for the cost. Rooms could definitely be renovated. The hotel staff was wonderful and water park was fun. A lot of other things to do for an extra cost as well.

When we first initially arrived, front desk personnel was very rude, there was issues with our check-in. Initially, it was a $30 fee for parking which was paid in the beginning, then I was charged another $30 fee for parking after checking out. Our room tub consistently became clogged. The pizza that came with the birthday package was terrible/burnt. The birthday cake that came with the birthday package seemed to be old. All in all for the experience…….the kids enjoyed it very much.

This has been a easy experience! Expedia helped me book my stay, and made coming in and checking in so smooth. The staff here has been amazing. They are all so kind. Everyone had a smile on there face, they delivered creamer to my room. I even had a nice janitor man give me some creamer too! Its been one of my best stays anywhere. The room we booked was exactly as shown, and very clean! From the mirrors to every nook its been clean and smells nice too. Even the pool area was clean. The food courts were spotless. Absolute blast for familys

We spent over 4 hours dealing with badging we had to return to the desk 3 times to get our badges to work correctly so we could open our room and get into the pool. This time was also spent correcting a billing error as well. We only were there for one night for our granddaughters birthday which we hosted for her and her friends so I didn’t get to truly enjoy the stay fully.

For the price involved, u would think they would include parking. Also, the food prices are absolutely outrageous. The staff was AMAZING and friendly! Very helpful. Each of the kids said it was the best day of their life! They don't want to go back to Kings Island (separate days), they just want the Wolf Lodge " next time"

Okay so the lodge itself is very little kid oriented. However, when you pay prior to going, beware their systems dont register that. When i used kiosk they said they would put a 119.00 hold on card for 100.00 depoait, and 19.00 per might for parking. That was feasible, however they help 389.00 on my debit card. I seen this and went to the front desk, manager was apologetic, reassured me he had corrected it. Woke up next morning and checked it, and now they had held additional 289.00 on my debit card. I was now almost $800.00 tied into this stay, not including the amount i paid for my family to stay there initially. They had al of my money tied up in holds. Needless to say to try to make it better they did give our family vouchers for breakfast and lunch, then each kid 10.00 in the arcade. Which was nice, and accommodating, but im still waiting for my funds to be released a day later. Moral if story: Don't use your debit card here, ill never do that again, unfortunately thats all we had. We just wanted to try something different with pur kiddos, and may not ever try it again.

Over priced, terrible service and staff. Multiple issues during and even after our stay. Got drinks at the pool and found bugs floating in one of them. The girl at the counter laughed and said “oops it’s just a cricket, you should see how bad they are in the summer.” Multiple charges on my bank card that didn’t match any charge on the folio statement. Tried to make the best of it as it was spring break for my kids and I am a travel nurse who is gone away for work often but we will never go back. Chose great wolf Cincinnati over wilderness of the smokies because of the location being close to where my current contract for work is. Waste of time and money. Very dissatisfied.

The staff is always nice every time I come, but I hated the location of my room. I was stuck back in a corner where delivery trucks and workers came all hours of the day and night and the parking was atrocious. I have a hard time getting in and out of my car and every time I tried to go in or out I had to get out of the car to make the bracelet work on the parking kiosk... That was a nightmare, but other than that, everything was good ... all in all I still can't get over the location in my room. I was very disappointed.

We booked two wolf den rooms for family trip to Kings Island. Although the price seems high (and it is no chump change), the Wolf Den comes with 6 water park passes plus the large room. When viewed in this context, it is not a bad deal at all. This place is very clean and well-maintained. Jill at the front desk was absolutely awesome. She helped get our rooms close, even though I forgot to request at booking. Although a lot of drinking was taking place, I never saw anyone get out of hand or rowdy. Everyone was just having a great time. Security was well present, but never overbearing. They do not nanny you to death, but we felt completely safe. As with any resort, everything is expensive on site, so I recommend taking a short drive to the local store if you need something. Water slides are remarkably fun for an indoor park, and the outdoor section was a very nice oasis in the sun. The only small complaints I continue to have is with the extremely rude gesture of asking for tips for everything single thing. I bought a $5 bottle of Mt. Dew and it asked how much I wanted to tip the guy who sat and watched me do all the work. This is not okay, and it is incredibly rude. Once again: Tips are for going above and beyond your normal job. Sit down restaurants, putting extra love into a coffee drink, cleaning up after me, etc. But you do not ask for a tip for a convenient store purchase. Otherwise, great property. and pizza restaurant is highly recommended.

The location is convenient to everything. Staffs were friendly. Outside pool closed. The room walls have food stains and the blanket were dirty! not washed?? There were too many goose poops everywhere in the parking lot, full of bird poops in the veranda and all over the chairs and table (did not even use it).

This was our first visit to Great Wolf Lodge and we really weren’t impressed. We took my 11-year-old son and most of the activities included with your stay are geared toward young kids. Anything that would be more appropriate for older kids costs money. We paid for him to purchase a wand so he could do the quests around the hotel, but it stopped working as soon as we got home. We arrived at 4pm and our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait with all of our luggage for over 45 minutes past check-in to get into our rooms. We were given breakfast vouchers which was nice, however breakfast is no better than any other hotel breakfast we’ve had. The food wasn’t warm at all. Our room was clean but had an overpowering smell of mildew. The rooms are a bit rundown and had peeling paint on the walls. At least 2 of the elevators were broken during our 2-night stay. The indoor water park was very clean and had plenty of seating for families however it is so hot, humid, and chlorinated that it’s difficult to breathe especially if you’re not actively in the water. We did appreciate the 21 and over hot tub. The water park is only open from 10-8 every day which was a bummer, especially on our first night when they were behind on letting us into our room. Decent hotel, but really not worth the money unless you have extra to spend on the other activities. They definitely nickel and dime you for everything, including $19 per day for parking!

The grandkids had an absolute blast here. My only complaints would be the staff weren't very helpful and the lack of dining options. For the price, the food was medocre and they were out of several things. The pool staff was amazing!

The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. I loved using their AI to ask for towels, coffee or whatever I needed. This hotel is a great opportunity for kids to have fun with their families. I would recommend that they do a review of their beds. Mine needed to be replaced. Overall a great family experience!

There is no "value for money" here.... Yes, the staff were pleasant, and the room was clean when I arrived, although not cleaned during the 3-night visit. And absolutely Yes - I did not see nor hear an unhappy child. The suite I booked turned out to be a lot smaller than I thought I was getting. The bathroom door barely cleared the toilet and the tub. The tub and toilet were low and small, but had no mobility aides. There was no bar or hook to hang wet towels, or bathrobes. The toilet had a roll of toilet paper and one spare roll. The one small sink was in the common area of the suite opposite the bathroom but without privacy and one small bar of soap. The refrigerator was small and not sized properly under a mirrored shelf. It kept getting stuck behind the carpet gripper. There were no bottles of water, no free coffee, nor a box of cleanex provided. The room looked and felt tired. The AC was too much, and the conditioner was difficult to regulate. The tiny balcony was pleasant, but many guests used the railings to dry their towels and bathing suits - not an upscale resort look. The daily parking fee was a surprise. And finally for the privilege of being at the 'not-so-resort' hotel and destination, the cost was prohibitively expensive. That may be intentional to self select a target clientele, but the value for money was disappointing. If I were management, I would be stretching both my imagination and credibility to call the Great Wolf Lodge a "resort".

There is no "value for money" here.... Yes, the staff were pleasant, and the room was clean when I arrived, although not cleaned during the 3-night visit. And absolutely Yes - I did not see nor hear an unhappy child. The suite I booked turned out to be a lot smaller than I thought I was getting. The bathroom door barely cleared the toilet and the tub. The tub and toilet were low and small, but had no mobility aides. There was no bar or hook to hang wet towels, or bathrobes. The toilet had a roll of toilet paper and one spare roll. The one small sink was in the common area of the suite opposite the bathroom but without privacy and one small bar of soap. The refrigerator was small and not sized properly under a mirrored shelf. Our family had an amazing time as the lodge had everything we could ever need . Money will spent. We was also so close to kings island walking distance as I got my steps in . Very happy customer here. Thank you Great Wolf for the amazing experience as we plan to come again in the future. Everything was clean and coming out the pool to the restroom wasn’t a drag as I thought it would be lol. I can keep going with endless reason to why we enjoyed our stay but this seems like plenty. Until we meet again WOLF PACK
