Very small and dirty room. No closet door. Poor room service and rude front desk staff. Pools are not clean so can’t event use them after paying all that money.

We stayed at Bay View Resort in Myrtle Beach for 4 days, and while the location right on the beach is definitely a plus, the experience overall left a lot to be desired. First, the cleanliness of the pools was disappointing. Some of the pools, especially the indoor ones, didn’t appear to be well-maintained. Also, while they advertise 6 different pools—which include a lazy river, toddler pool, hot tubs, and regular pools—only a few were actually enjoyable due to cleanliness and crowding. One of the biggest issues we faced was the paper-thin walls. Whatever happened in the next room, we could hear—unfortunately, we had very noisy neighbors and barely got any sleep during our stay. We also encountered a plumbing problem in one of our rooms. Although maintenance was sent promptly, the plumber couldn't resolve the issue and we had to wait a whole day for a technician to finally fix it. In our second room, we requested towels multiple times (4-5 times to be exact), and only received fresh ones on Day 3—not ideal when staying in a resort by the beach where showers are frequent. Another major issue: the elevators. For such a large resort, only 4 elevators are available, and they are extremely slow. We often had to wait 10 minutes or more just to find one with enough space to get on. Overall, while the location is great, the service and room quality were not up to standard. For the price and the promise of a beachfront resort, we expected a lot more comfort and responsiveness.

Overall, it was terrible experience. Property is not well maintained. Elevators operations are extremely poor. Sometimes, we had a wait time of around 15 mins to get down from the 16th floor. Pool was lack of cleanliness. The location of this property was the only thing I like.

The upkeep was terrible this visit to this hotel. There were no towel’s available at the pool. There was an issue with the AC it wouldn’t turn off. The elevators were broke. Took a hour to get on the elevator had to use stairs to the 11th floor.

The top floor condo unit is extremely nice. Clean breezy. Complete amenities. Parking is separate building across the property so not convenient. Not enough loading area. Elevators also can take a long time during peak time.

Everything was good stayed here before during mustang week and spring break. The lazy river was a little 😒 not clean but all the other pools and and jacuzzi were great. Our room was very remodel and up-to-date flooring on the 18th floor.

Bay View Resort is very close to the beach. Parking is secure but is a block away from the hotel. Units may be condos with individual owners. The unit above ours had noisy construction beginning at 7:45 am our first full day, and the manager said construction was OK between 9-5. The off-season rates were pretty good.

The room could’ve been cleaned better & new utensils would’ve been nice , had to switch rooms due to bedbugs , room floors wasn’t swept, vacuumed or mopped & housekeepers didn’t give clean towels or room service.

It's in a great location. Very easy to access. Been staying here for years and lately the rooms have been dirty. Floors are filthy.

It was dirty. There was a weave on the balcony and inside on hallway. Tvs didnt work right. Windows were dirty. Linins had stains. The pull out couch mattress should’ve been replaced years ago. Not enough towels for a 6 person room. Elevators were dim. View was nice but overall like a cruddy motel.

The property was dirty and had no air conditioning for 3 days. Moved to another room and it was dirty also. Mold on pillows put on the beds.

Very disgusting property. Extremely dirty and not properly taken care off. Had an issue with the thermostat not working the moment we got there and they just kept trying to fix it but never did and at one point tried blaming us that we are the reason it broke. The entire building needs to be cleaned. The bathroom in the hotel room is probably the most disgusting thing I’ve seen in my life. Overall very VERY poor conditions and would strongly advise everyone to not waste their money at this resort. I also paid extra for an ocean view room and instead got the other side view.

I stayed at the Bayview because this is where my family and I have always stayed when visiting Myrtle Beach. This is definitely not the same place it used to be. Our room was filthy upon check in. We had what appeared to be vomit chunks between one of the beds and the nightstand in the room. The carpet and bathroom had random pieces of trash everywhere. I understand that things happen so I very politely asked the front desk to send someone to have our room recleaned. He put in a “request” but stated that housekeeping was leaving soon so he wasn’t sure if it would be completed. I was not offered a different room in spite of this. After spending the evening out and getting back to the room around 10 pm, the room had not been cleaned as requested. The only reason I stayed was because there were no bedbugs and it was late. The next day, I received an automated text requesting a reply if there was anything the Bayview could do to make our stay more enjoyable. I replied to this text requesting AGAIN that our room be cleaned and detailed the extent of the filth for whomever manages their text service. I received a response that our room would be cleaned ASAP. Upon returning to the room from the beach around 1 pm, the possible vomit had been cleaned but there were still random bits of trash throughout the bathroom and on the carpet. I guess we don’t share the same idea of clean. We also never received routine housekeeping services during our stay.

Roaches in the room. Hotel staff was helpful in accommodating me but the other room was not any better. Staff was nice about cancelling my reservation so I could go elsewhere.

Pretty good location just very outdated and kinda dirty. Seen a big roach last day there. Couldnt adjust room temperature. Loved the balcony and view. Elevators kinda long waiting. No ice or vending on every floor. That would be more convenient.

It was our first time together in Myrtle beach. Our room was great. Every day we woke up to a view of the ocean. Housekeeping did a good job keeping us in coffee and clean towels every day. You can walk to restaurants and shops. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. We will be back.

The room is a little out dated especially the bedroom. The lighting is poor overall. I didn’t know full beds were still around.

Starbucks onsite was great. The beds were hard and not comfortable at all! The pillows were flat and the bed comforters were thin. I was able to get extra pillows and comforters without any issues.

We stay in a room who possibly can communicates with another room by a door. The walls are so thin than we heard everything for the next room. And also the air system is commun. So when our neighbors cooks breakfast (honestly I don't know how, I suppose in the microwave) the smell was also in our room (bacon and sausage not so pleasant at 8h in the morning). The rest was perfect.

Poor management regarding letting other guests partying in their rooms with very loud music until 2 am. It was VERY LOUD

The resort has been kept up nicely. I arrived on a Friday evening and had a pretty smooth checkin. The staff members were all courteous and helpful. I had a king oceanfront room. The view was amazing but the room was quite small. There was no seating except on the bed; there’s no desk either, so if you need to do work, then it’ll have to get done on the bed. Extra seating is the two plastic chairs on the balcony. I was fine with all this, though at least one chair would be nice. My room also had an adjoining room, and the walls are paper thin, so you hear every word spoken by your neighbors who have rented the adjoining room. For two of my three nights the adjoining room was stuffed with yelling, pot-smoking girls who didn’t ever seem to tire out. I did have one quiet night after they left on Sunday morning. The hotel is nice, but I wanted a little relaxation in the evenings. That said, it is a good hotel. I was just disappointed by the room size, the adjoining-room nature of an oceanfront king room, and the noise (yelling and screaming all hours of the night) and the constant pot smell that made me nauseous.

The view was amazing and the staff was amazing. However, the condo itself was very outdated. The beds were hard, the shower curtains were ripped, the popcorn ceiling was falling all over the place. 2 of the 4 elevators were not working. The halls were damp.

This property is awful! I made a reservation for a single queen and got two double beds. The AC didn’t work; blew out hot air. The sliding glass door went off track every time we opened it. The room floor was visible dirty. The furniture was worn: finish was peeling off; drape/curtain over sliding glass door was torn; bathroom faucet dripped all the time; bed sagged in the middle. Advertised as serving continental breakfast, but one had to go to Starbucks next door.

Very nice view of the beach Easy access to the beach and nice boardwalk. No early check. No communication they said they will call for early check in but no body did, so we lost a whole day waiting until 4 and it was a one day beach stay. Beds were very small with no AC in bedroom but was cold in living room. Loud ac was going the whole night.

Requested an oceanfront room, it was, however the palm trees obstructed the view. Any rooms on 2nd floor should be labeled “ocean view”. One of the pillow cases was stained.

Room was clean and neat access to all family entertainment staff was friendly

The staff was accommodating. The rooms needed updating but the resort in general was a good place to stay and in a good location. I would stay again

The bathroom was clean. Washer and dryer was in the room. The Spa’s were great. This is definitely a good place to bring a family. We enjoyed everyday here. It also has better reviews on Google than most resorts in the area. We could have just stayed here the whole time instead of exploring. The beach area was clean.

5 Star all the way, safe, easy shopping near by and great restaurants with in walking distance of hotel. The Star Bucks at the entrance is a plus. The Bayview Resort is basically on the Boardwalk and a few steps from the Ocean beach water to jump right in. Kids love the lazy river, giant chess game, indoor out door pools and jacuzzis. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We will stay again at this awesome resort.

Property lady manager was very rude with bad attitude to PAYING customers. Payment system was down with meant payment system down. Never apologized for her rude remarks once she realized it was a system error. Others were having the same issue. Our condo could’ve been cleaned better. There were rubber bands and blood spots on the sleeper sofa mattress. It needs to be replaced. Slept on springs. Microwave was dirty. Blender was dirty without a lid therefore we couldn’t use it, Almost 11pm at night the staff knocked on the door disturbing us about the payment system which had been down for days. We of course had the funds but the system we had no control over. Bathroom floor tile needs to be replaced it’s brown in certain spots. Living room tv stand was badly chipped. Checkout day so glad we packed the car the night before bc the Elevators were down!! People were out of breath going up having to stop for breaks. Especially having your room on the 16th floor. Elderly lady was struggling to make it down the street with help. Elevators were very slow stopping at almost every floor. Only 4 total in the building. AC in the building went out! Terrible experience. Only positive was the oceanfront view. We will never stay there again.

The resort was great, the only problem I had was when I checked in, I waited like 20 minutes for service, the lady was in the back talking to someone and told me she would be with me in a few but it was actually like 20 minutes. Then she came to the counter and had an attitude so unprofessional, she acted as if my card information was not in the system the she told me I needed the physical card, I explained to her it was an virtual card she insisted that she needed the card, the I showed her the virtual card then she entered the information with no problem, it took me about 30 to 40 minutes to check in that was so not called for.

It started out a little on the not so good side but ended up GREAT, thanks to Thomas the customer service rep at Bay View. He provided excellent service.

Never got any maid service. Even when requested at the front desk. Only ever changed one trash bin. I went down twice to request towels and toilet paper. And both times, i had to come down later to get it myself

All of the staff from the front desk to housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful. The property was always clean. We were overall very pleased with our stay. The only thing that could be fixed were the dresser drawers which was reported at check out.

The hotel is right on the beach, on the Boardwalk, just a very short walk from many of the Myrtle Beach attractions. Sky Wheel, Plyler Park, Gay Dolphin, old Pavilion area, and more are just down the street. Walk on the beach, the Boardwalk, or the sidewalk...all close by. Downtown area and other places along the highway are either a longer walk or short drive away. Check in and check out was easy and quick. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are nice, well kept despite the busy crowds. The rooms were clean, hallways clean, and despite beach weather and crowds the area was well kept. The area? Typical Myrtle Beach. Not much in the way of local restaurants to walk to, although plenty of chain type places a short drive away along the highway. Groceries? The same. It's Myrtle Beach, it is what it is. The hotel has perfect beach access, one of the best on the Grand Strand. I've been to Myrtle Beach many times, have stayed at this hotel before, and would do so again.

Overall hotel is fine, but room need upgrade because everything old and looks not so good. I choose this hotel because it close to boardwalk and all different activities.

I loved the location! In front of the beach!

The property location is in a great place. The beach is just steps away from your room. My family and I had a nice quiet, and comfortable stay. Nice property you won't go wrong with the Bay View Resort in Myrtle Beach.

Overall good. Sink faucet a bit hard to turn and shower keep making squeaky noise. Room a bit tiny to move around. Otherwise view was beautiful 😍

This was my first time staying at the Bay View Resort. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and had a gorgeous view. There were some things in need of repair/updating (carpets, luggage carts). The pool area was fun and the new pool bar was a great spot. The drinks were delicious and the bartender was very friendly and fun. The resort does have off site (about a block away) parking. It is within walking distance of the “strip” and there are several dining options nearby. Overall our stay was great and I would definitely book another stay here.

Everything about the property was great! Great view, friendly customer service, enough space for everyone to enjoy the indoor/outdoor pools. I just wish there was a space for a small complimentary breakfast but at least it was walking distance to good food spots.

The Bay View Resort was a great choice. I went to Myrtle Beach for some rest and relaxation, and I was instantly put at ease with the sound of the ocean waves crashing upon the shoreline from my room balcony. I enjoyed the pool area and the Starbucks on the ground level. The hotel has lots of walkable restaurants nearby and the big Ferris wheel is about a 10 minutes' walk. Jeff was great at check-in and all staff I met were very nice.

Location was perfect, our room had an amazing view. The property and beach area were clean, felt safe the whole time. Do not use the consonier matt in the lobby,his recommendation was clearly a friends restaurant, it was so overpriced ,dirty,old. Refer to the sheet you get at check in. We would stay here again.

I liked the option of an indoor pool and a firepit oceanfront. I liked that there is a Starbucks on the property. The room was a little small but the oceanfront view was amazing! The rate was reasonable for the oceanfront hotel and amenities and for the winter season. The parking was the only draw back.

We enjoyed this hotel. The 2 bedroom suite we got was awesome. I can say the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in at Myrtle beach! The only downfall was no breakfast but had a wonderful kitchen in our room to cook if I wanted to.

The price was reasonable. There is a lot the facility offers. Beds are clean. A little bad smell in the elevator. No free breakfast
