Pestana Blue Alvor Beach - All Inclusive Hotel

Ótimo para relaxar sem preocupações. A comida é ok, tem muita variedade, mas para um hotel de 5 estrelas esperava um pouco mais de qualidade. Há comida disponível praticamente o dia todo, o que por um lado é conveniente mas, por outro, há saladas, charcutaria e frutas ao ar durante imensas horas. Muito bom para ir com crianças mas também existe uma piscina restrita a adultos.

Lovely hotel but more a 4 star and not a 5

We had issues with our safe. After asking for it to be fixed multiple times, someone finally came 24 hours later. Our fan started working randomly one of the nights, from 23:00 to 02:00, we were unable to turn it off! For an all inclusive 5 star hotel, there werent many food options and even when we came to eat when the restaurant opened, the food was lukewarm / cold. We had pork steaks one day that weren't cooked properly, which resulted in food poisoning...not nice at all - we lost 48nhours of our holiday due to being unwell. We ended up eating outside of the hotel on several occasions due to the limited food options - which we had not bugeted for! The reception and restaurant staff were all very friendly - the main positive of the hotel! The lights/ lamps in the restaurant fell on 2 occasions, just missing guests. This is an expensive hotel for what is offered.

Aklle omgivelsler meget fint. Maden (all incl.) var skuffende. Råvarerne egentlig fine og friske men den tilberedte mad var ugen smag. Suppe uden smag men med masser af kylling i. Grøntsagssuppe det samme. Der manglede køde med smag og meget gerne som Carvery.

Good value stay overall but food - breakfasts were left out too long so if having late breakfast things dry, chewy and overcooked under the lamps - try put less out, more often. Evening meals no fresh made meats e.g steaks made, just 'hot pot' style food in large oven dishes - they were OK but have had better in other all inclusive resorts. Rooms overall bed comfy and soundproof OK from outside noise but doors don't have auto/slow close so all slammed shut causing loud noise, especially when people came to the room very late or left very early. Otherwise very friendly staff, clean, modern and I will definitely look to stay here again when I return to Algarve. Thank you.
