I have stayed here several times over the years. Great value and such a well-maintained property! Plenty of amenities as well (some seasonal), like a pool, hot tub, putting green, playground, fitness center, jetted bath tubs, DirectTV service with guide and HBO.

I was pleasantly surprised by just how many amenities Village Inn had. Everything was good too. We loved the pool and if I had stayed longer, would have definitely used the fitness room.

I have stayed here several times over the past few years and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and motels across the country traveling for work. This is one of the best accommodation deals ever! It is so professionally run for a small-town motel. The price is awesome, the rooms are spacious and clean, the entertainment source is DirectTV and not free local broadcast channels. They have a pool, hottub, putting green, grill/picnic area, shuffleboard, and a playground. They just added a fitness room. The bathrooms have jetted tubs. It is an awesome deal!

Wonderful check in experience!!! Very friendly/quick process/large, very clean and comfortable room. Shower was amazing - really hot water and great flow!!! Surrounding area is quiet/nice pool/and an amazing fresh produce/flower farm on the road to the hotel just off the interstate!!! Picked up our fresh vegetables for dinner this week and some fall decorations ( gourds and pumpkins). Very reasonable prices as was the price of our room at the inn!!! Would stay there again!!!

All I wanted was a clean place to sleep after a 12 hr drive. What I got: a large room that seemed clean at first glance. Upon closer inspection, I got dog hair on pillows, flies, dead bugs in the bathroom light, mold on the ceiling, hair in the shower, soap scum next to the sink faucet, and a used bandaid on the floor. The commerical soap dispenser in the shower was a choice. Management arbitrarily offered $15 for my pet fee (that i still haven’t received) and nothing for the gross condition. Hotels.com did nothing but offer $25 one key cash to spend more money with them and take a chance that they do nothing. I chose this place based on the reviews that it was clean and nothing fancy. What a lie.

Room was not clean. Floss pick next to bed from previous guest. Jet tub 1 jet didn’t work, another shot pieces out of it when it was turned on. Disappointed. Only good thing about this hotel is the friendly front desk staff.

The property was impeccably maintained. the rooms were spotless. The deck off the back of the room with an unexpected treat. The cost of the breakfast was well worth it. We could not have been happier with the property. I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks to all of the staff.

The hotel in the area was very nice. Very nice staff and the area is nice and country like. I gave it a 4 only because it is a little bit outdated and needs remodeling, and the cleaning could be better. We found quite a bit of dust. With that being said, I would not mind staying here again.

The room was gorgeous and had a balcony. We asked the girl at the front desk for a recommendation for somewhere to eat since their restaurant was closed and she just generally said “in that direction there’s some restaurants about 10 minutes away”.

The room was great. It was larger than most hotel rooms. It has an awesome jacuzzi tub, a deck, a huge amount of land to walk your animals. It is right off 81 and next to rt 11 but I really couldn't hear the traffic. The room was very clean and the beds were comfy..This will definitely be our go to place to stay..

Each room has a deck with chairs, which made it feel more like a vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the fridge was quiet and didn’t wake me up at night like most do. ***BOOK WITH HOTEL DIRECTLY!!!!! We paid over $100 more for 4 nights by booking through Expedia and couldn’t get refunded through price match.

Rooms are good. It’s nice to back vehicle right up to the door. Ez in and out. Con: the rooms have a sensor or timer that turns the A/C off after so many minutes/hours. I cool the room and leave room and return and the room is hot. I set temp for 68 and go to bed, I wake up at 4am and it’s still set for 68 but the room is 74. As soon as I touch the thermostat it comes back on and cools.The units are set to time out automatically to save money. This may be energy-saving but it’s a deal breaker for me. I stayed 2 nights here. Won’t be back cause of the A/C timeout.

I have stayed here twice before. The woman who checked me in was rather brusque and businesslike- a woman of few words. I am used to the big cheery welcoming smiles of front desk staff at Holiday Inns. Perhaps the woman was tired but I felt like I was waiting in line to renew my driver's license.

I said here is papers, why does it matter, she just argued, and stated she will show me the law? Not sure of the issue, $15 charge for dog, which is perfectly fine. Not sure why so nasty?? or why argue. I just said check me in and paid up!!

Great pool. I've stayed here at least 7 times. Love the place but the front staffers have always been very reserved and don't feel welcoming. I just stayed at a Residence Inn for the last four days in Poughkeepsie NY and the staff always had big welcoming smiles for me and seemed happy in their job. Maybe the family who runs Village Inn is just reserved, but I wish the staff were a bit friendlier

Very impressed with the Village Inn. Open grounds, very clean accommodations, comfortable beds and just a few minutes drive to Harrisonburg. I have travelled far and wide in this world and highly recommend the Village Inn .

Very impressed with the Village Inn. Open grounds, very clean accommodations, comfortable beds and just a few minutes drive to Harrisonburg. I have travelled far and wide in this world and highly recommend the Village Inn .

Very comfortable and clean room. Clean, everything was perfect! Best deal around this area. No free breakfast but they have a very reasonable buffet for breakfast and lunch. Excellent food!

I chose this hotel mainly for the price, and I am pleasantly surprised to find out that it's a very comfortable stay. The room is exactly what I needed and has a number of amenities I wasn't expecting - tub with jacuzzi jets, a very nice desk and desk chair. However, the breakfast buffet is really exceptional for the price - much better than the usual offerings of packaged oatmeal and store-bought pastries. Everything on the hot food buffet was made in house, with a variety of items that seem to be local specialties - fried bologna, three kinds of sausages, baked oatmeal - as well as pancakes, french toast, hash browns, and the more usual fare. Well worth the price and interesting for an out-of-towner like myself. I will definitely make the Village Inn a stop-over on my trips between Vermont and North Carolina.

The room was great and hotel services went smoothly. The one minor comment was about the breakfast buffet. Everything was fine but for a breakfast that ended up costing $16/person before the tip it would have been nice to find something that was exceptional

The breakfast buffet was a disappointment. It needs to scale down the choices and provide fresh offerings. Boiled eggs would be better than dry scrambled eggs. Of course the best would be to be able to order so that you receive a freshly cooked breakfast. .

I booked a room here based on the reviews. It looked very charming and I was excited to have a little romantic getaway with my husband. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. There were crumbs on the floor and long hairs on the chair in our room so I asked the man at the desk to please have them vacuum our room while we were out to dinner. When we got back a couple hours later they came to vacuum. I had hoped they would take care of that while we were out but decided to just leave the room and check out the pool. The chairs around the pool were really old and I would say unsafe. The water was greenish and there was debris in the pool and hotub. So swimming wasn't an option so we went back to the room to relax. When I checked the beds, which I should have done when I got there, there were stains on the sheets and hair and dirt in the bed. They also didn't use a fitted sheet they just had a top sheet thrown over the mattress cover which was also stained. That was when I decided to.check out and drive and hour and a half back home to sleep in my own bed. I didn't expect a refund and of course didn't get one but I did expect them to be more apologetic. I just got excuses. I am beyond disappointed.
