Days Inn by Wyndham Canton

We booked this hotel for 3 nights in July 2023. On our first day, we went to the pool with our grown son. We were the only three in the pool. There is a sign that states "no alcohol within 5 feet of the pool". My husband & son were in the pool & I was on a lawn chair. The owner came out to tell us that Cherokee County has an ordinance prohibiting ETOH consumption despite the posted notice. We left the pool. I was not comfortable w/the info given, so i called the non- emergent police #. An officer called me back to relay that the owner was not truthful and that there is NO such ordinance. As a consumer, Ido not like to be lied to. There was no reason for this. Additionally, the cleaning crew was the father and mother of the owners. They could barely push the cart and were elderly. Our son actually assisted the mother in throwing garbage away that was too heavy for her to put in the trash can. We completely understand having a family owned business, but not when your parents are elderly and cleaning hotel rooms. They shoukd be ashamed of themselves. We stayed at this hotel a decade ago & had no problems. Needless to say, we will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We are paying customers who will never return.

I was highly disappointed with my stay. There was NO pool which was advertised on hotels.com as having a pool and the breakfast was a cheap couple of packaged items. One of my worst stays ever for the price. Highly overpriced for this place.

They advertise a pool but the pool is filled with dirt.

Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Grout in the shower needs to be replaced and the road traffic was extremely loud at times. Pool was filled in with cement and breakfast was over at 9am and only offering was high calorie muffins, juice boxes and coffee.

It’s an older property that needs cosmetic maintenance. Staff was very nice. King size bed was great!! Great area with lots of food & shopping availability.

Looked nothing like pictures on line. Found a dead spider in my bed. Room had bad order. Pool was dirty. Not what I was expecting from Wyndham.

The motel is being renovated. We were asked to change rooms after the first night so that that room could be updated. We were moved into a freshly renovated room with new furniture and new mattresses. Management is pleasant and easy to work with.

Shelf for hanging clothes, holding an iron, was falling off of the wall. Notified owner: response was “I’ve ordered new furniture”. Unresponsive to safety issue. Shower moldy.

Rooms are nice & clean. Bonus: pleasant man on third shift.

It was a decent enough room but there was roaches and the shower curtain fell at one point not sure that it was worth the price I spent but I didn't have a lot of options.

Check in and out was quick and easy. Room was nice neat and clean bathroom was clean but a few corners is shower had appearance of mold. Felt ok with surroundings. Close to everything we needed to be.

Love the employees here. Very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Close to work when I need to stay for a few nights.

Absolutely horrible. First room had 2 dead roaches, went down and the lady changed my room which didn't have any roaches but was filthy dirty, socks under the bed and blood stain sheets

This is one of the best Days Inn I have stayed at. Usually, Days Inn is not very good. This one was clean and had a very comfortable bed.

The location is convenient but the surface area of the appliances in the room are covered in fingerprints, the light fixtures are very dusty and dirty, seems like they haven’t been wiped in a while. Our room door doesn’t close all the way, don’t like that. Check in went smoothly,

The traffic driving past can be noisy, but this was one of the best places I stayed in Canton. I stayed all over the area bc i was in town for a whole year for work. This place is great bang for your buck. Also internet was better than any other hotel in Canton. I play xbox and internet was great for COD.

It was a decent motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the location is very noisy. The bathroom was dated and did not have a door, so if you’re sharing the room, your companion would be inconvenienced when trying to get ready. The bed was comfortable and clean.

This is one of the best Days Inn I have stayed at. Usually, Days Inn is not very good. This one was clean and had a very comfortable bed.

Asked for receipt. Wouldn’t give me one said I booked through 3rd party and they would email me one.

I accidentally booked a single king instead of double beds. Despite arriving at almost midnight, the staff was courteous and helpful while correcting my error. Within 10 minutes, I had a new room. Excellent customer service.

Fast and easy check in with a nice and courteous clerk. I needed to change to a downstairs unit because of accessibility for my husband and she politely made the modification for me.

Was great, very clean, great bed & pillows; super clean. My only issue was the staff was extremely rude & being forced to allow maids to come in after staying on day 2 that we were ok. Front desk forced us to allow them in & my husband was not feeling well so it was extremely inappropriate & frustrating.

It was very convenient located. I loved that i can just go across the street to a beautiful park.

Convenient place to say visiting famly in Canton, but overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast very basic and noisy as near a main road. No issues with cleanliness. Would look to try somewhere else next tie but would stay again if no other options.

Room was good, staff wasnt overly nice, the room was OK. The breakfast sucked, only apple juice, coffee to drink, plain yogurt, and some danishes and muffins.

Clean, modern, super comfy bedding. Don’t bother with “breakfast”. Coffee terrible sludge and nothing edible. Went to local Racetrac for good coffee and breakfast croissont.

We enjoyed our stay and this is an excellent choice if you’re on a budget. The direct tv options were excellent. The beds were comfortable with crisp sheets and good pillows. The breakfast options included juice, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, and plastic container cold fruit. Although we love the fancier breakfast options at other hotels, this was adequate and if you need more there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. My only minor complaint was the quality of the coffee and tea. There is a Panera close if you do sip club. We found this to be helpful since we didn’t like the coffee. I would happily stay here again. We had a 5 night stay and were looking for the most budge friendly option. This was a fine choice for us.

Beds are very comfortable. But get your coffee elsewhere.

The breakfast was not good. It was simply muffins, coffee, & juice boxes. But the rest of the hotel was great. Very clean, very friendly service, very inexpensive.

Not much for breakfast as you find in most properties

Everything was clean. Service was good. Breakfast was scant.

Housekeepers started banging and bumping while cleaning in the upstairs room too early in the morning. Neighboring rooms had loud noises and tv blasting during the night. Loud cars passing up and down Riverstone Pkwy all night long. Breakfast was a muffin, instant coffee (from a machine) and juice box.
