great location. great breakfast. property was not well maintained at all. . hotel did not have enough towel so we were given pool towels to use.

I had communicated a late check-in on Hotels.com site, arriving at 11:30 PM. Arriving at front desk no one was present. Could see into office which was cluttered w/ boxes. First impression of hotel is it’s very worn. A few minutes later a nice reception clerk arrived and checked us in. Walking to the elevators we noticed how scuffed, dirty and marked the floors/walls/paint were. Elevator doors were marked w/ greasy smear marks. Exiting elevator we heard/saw a woman in her mid 20’s knocking loudly on a door down the hall. This was concerning given the hour of the evening. Found our room walking down the tired, worn out hall, went inside only to be met w/ a strong foul, moldy odor. First impression of the hotel was strong and immediate, we would/could not stay at this hotel. It had better days. Was in our musty room less than 45 seconds. Returning to the elevator we saw the woman continuing to loudly knock trying to make entry into a room. Went to front desk, returned keys saying, “please cancel our reservation, we cannot stay here, thank you”. Tried canceling reservation on Hotels.com site. No success. Wrote to hotel via portal explaining issue. Called Hotels.com to report incident, this agent was helpful in listening. Called property twice asking to speak to manager. Requested return call. Never received. Hotel charged me one night’s stay which I disputed requesting reconsideration. Have liked Comfort Inn before. Property did not meet a standard of cleanliness or safety.

We arrived for a really late check-in due to weather and traffic, but had call hours ahead to confirm we would be there. When we arrived they were not prepared for us, which was quite obvious when we were sent to a room that had not been cleaned and was filthy! The new room we were given was on the 4th floor. The elevator wasn’t working, and it was now 3am!The carpet was so wrinkled in the hall and by the stairs that it tripped us, The door to the outside was propped open so anyone could walk in. We found out after leaving that my daughter had been bitten by bed bugs all over her legs! We will never stay at this location again

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. The room did need some deep cleaning though. There were gnats in the bathroom and what looked like maybe a spot of chewing tobacco on the wall at the head of the bed. I got the best nights rest I’ve had in a while.
