It really ticked all the boxes for our 3 day stay. I must say that the breakfast was the freshest and best we have experienced in other hotels we have rated as very good. We also enjoyed the bar menus on each of our three evenings in the Old Bar (part of the hotel provision).

Annebrook House is in a great location for exploring the local community. It is beautiful and well kept. Sunday night social dancing is quite loud until very late, so be aware that it won't be a quiet night in if you're there on a Sunday night.

The property was conveniently located within walking distance of lots of shopping and restaurants in the city of Mullingar. The staff was extremely warm and helpful. I would highly recommend this as your stay, next time traveling to Mullingar. The food in the bar/pub was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed listening to the live music later in the evening.

Super nettes Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück. Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre. Tiefgaragenparkplätze kostenlos! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Neben dem obligatorischen full irisch breakfast gibt es des Weiteren guten Joghurt, gutes Müsli und frische Früchte. Wir hatten ein Appartement gebucht und das hatte neben einer Küche mit Spülmaschine, Toaster, Microwelle und Herd auch eine Waschmaschine, des weiteren zwei Zimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad, eine Essecke, eine Ledercoach, Ledersessel und zwei kleine Balkons. Die Lage ist ruhig mit schönem Blick in den Stadtpark und für Mullingar zentral. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen. Bis nach Dublin City fährt der Bus 115 oder der Expressbus 23 direkt gegenüber vom Hotel. Der Expressbus fährt auch direkt zum Flughafen. Allerdings sind die Busse nicht sehr zuverlässig und man sollte Verspätungen einplanen.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in The Annebrooke it was very clean and the food was good. Unfortunately there is no pool in the hotel but the public pool is directly opposite. Our room was over the bar area so was very noisy in the evenings and early in the morning. The bar staff and waitress were lovely unfortunately some of the breakfast staff were not. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Very nice hotel. There is construction work right beside the hotel, which might create some noise (we stayed over the weekend). Staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean, bar and restaurant in the hotel add to convenience.

First time in this hotel, we were in room 307 a family room. It overlooked the back of the main street. The room was a good size and had a lot of storage if required. The room was very clean. I had a few drinks in the bar of the hotel, it was €6 euro for a pint of guinness. The breakfast was ok we had a fry up, and some cereal. The hotel is in the centre of the town and offers free parking.

Check in was great. There was a small issue with the window but someone came up bs helped us close it quickly. We went to dinner and when we came back, it was very noisy. People were loud below us and outside our room until after midnight. Then at about 5 am someone started moving beer kegs outside and making a lot of noise. It was pretty warm in our room but we kept the window shut because it was so loud. When we were asked how everything was, we mentioned how loud it was and the front desk said that there was a dance until 11:30 last night. We did say that it went on much later than that, she was not receptive to that feedback. She did say she would tell someone about the noise from the morning. The room was nice. I would make sure to ask about events going on at the hotel when you check in.

Spotlessly clean property. Well in the Centre of Mullingar. Food and drink is gorgeous but the real plus point to this hotel is its staff. Everyone from staff at reception, bar staff, restaurant staff and housekeeping where so polite and professional. They couldn’t do enough for us. They are worth their weight in gold and Keep people coming back time and again.

Its a great hotel ,inan excellent location and the staff are all very welcoming .I woukd say though that the hotel is showing a lot of wear and tear amd the decor is very dated and a renovation would really bring it t another level.

A two night stay. Room wa very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - great choice and attentive service. The only downside was that our room backed on to a car park. Early morning deliveries was understandable, but unfortunately we were awoken at about 2:15am with conversation below us and this continued until about 3:30am. Very difficult to have a good sleep when the trucks arrive at 7am. First night was very peaceful.

Staff at check in and out didn't seem to care about our stay in the slightest. The focus of the hotel seems to be pints and music. Room was very warm without air conditioning. We could open the windows but they faced a courtyard where staff were out smoking and chatting until about 1am and then bins and kegs were done at around 7am. No plugs beside the bed and generally an outdated room but it was clean. Breakfast was chaotic without much room to move around when getting breakfast and the food itself was fine.

Sehr schönes Stadthotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet. Sehr gut zu Fuß ist das Zentrum mit vielen Pubs zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war auch zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder !

The Annebrook House Hotel is situated in the center of Mullingar Town which means that shops, pubs and restaurants are all within a couple of minutes walk. The staff were excellent - kind and helpful. My room had a balcony which was a huge bonus given that the outside temperature was in the mid 20's. The room itself was very comfortable. I slept with the balcony door open as there is no a/c in the room. The only issue I had (which to be fair was a minor one) was that as I had the balcony door open all night I couldn't close the curtains so had the balcony light on all night. Breakfast was excellent. Overall I was very impressed with the Annebrook House Hotel and will stay there on my next visit to Mullingar.

The property was conveniently located within walking distance of lots of shopping and restaurants in the city of Mullingar. The staff was extremely warm and helpful. I would highly recommend this as your stay, next time traveling to Mullingar. The food in the bar/pub was absolutely delicious and I enjoyed listening to the live music later in the evening.

Staff at check in and out didn't seem to care about our stay in the slightest. The focus of the hotel seems to be pints and music. Room was very warm without air conditioning. We could open the windows but they faced a courtyard where staff were out smoking and chatting until about 1am and then bins and kegs were done at around 7am. No plugs beside the bed and generally an outdated room but it was clean. Breakfast was chaotic without much room to move around when getting breakfast and the food itself was fine.

Very nice hotel. There is construction work right beside the hotel, which might create some noise (we stayed over the weekend). Staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean, bar and restaurant in the hotel add to convenience.

The hotel from the reception to cleaners dining staff and bar staff was just lovely nothing was to much trouble and will most definitely go there again if visiting mullingar first rate special mention to Freya and Eddie

Pros: Central Location, very good breakfast menu, great staff in bar and bedroom fine. Cons: Room not ready till 1645, promised a call to tell me when ready which never materialised. Lady in reception at the time sullen and requires customer service training. Bar more akin to a canteen, poorly laid out and access to toilets requires passage through the food service area. Charged additional €25 for additional hour late checkout despite room not been ready at check-in time. Electricity died in room whilst partner in shower, nobody seemed bothered when reporting it on checkout. Won't be back.

Check in was great. There was a small issue with the window but someone came up bs helped us close it quickly. We went to dinner and when we came back, it was very noisy. People were loud below us and outside our room until after midnight. Then at about 5 am someone started moving beer kegs outside and making a lot of noise. It was pretty warm in our room but we kept the window shut because it was so loud. When we were asked how everything was, we mentioned how loud it was and the front desk said that there was a dance until 11:30 last night. We did say that it went on much later than that, she was not receptive to that feedback. She did say she would tell someone about the noise from the morning. The room was nice. I would make sure to ask about events going on at the hotel when you check in.

Annebrook House is in a great location for exploring the local community. It is beautiful and well kept. Sunday night social dancing is quite loud until very late, so be aware that it won't be a quiet night in if you're there on a Sunday night.

A two night stay. Room wa very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - great choice and attentive service. The only downside was that our room backed on to a car park. Early morning deliveries was understandable, but unfortunately we were awoken at about 2:15am with conversation below us and this continued until about 3:30am. Very difficult to have a good sleep when the trucks arrive at 7am. First night was very peaceful.

Tolle, zentrale Lage und trotzdem relativ ruhig. Ein kleiner Park genau um die Ecke lädt zum kurzen Spaziergang ein. Viele verschiedene und vor allem gute Restaurants sowie diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

The Annebrook House Hotel is situated in the center of Mullingar Town which means that shops, pubs and restaurants are all within a couple of minutes walk. The staff were excellent - kind and helpful. My room had a balcony which was a huge bonus given that the outside temperature was in the mid 20's. The room itself was very comfortable. I slept with the balcony door open as there is no a/c in the room. The only issue I had (which to be fair was a minor one) was that as I had the balcony door open all night I couldn't close the curtains so had the balcony light on all night. Breakfast was excellent. Overall I was very impressed with the Annebrook House Hotel and will stay there on my next visit to Mullingar.

First time in this hotel, we were in room 307 a family room. It overlooked the back of the main street. The room was a good size and had a lot of storage if required. The room was very clean. I had a few drinks in the bar of the hotel, it was €6 euro for a pint of guinness. The breakfast was ok we had a fry up, and some cereal. The hotel is in the centre of the town and offers free parking.

We had a good, albeit short, visit at Annebrook House. We were only there one night. The room was very comfortable and our view of the church was unlike any on the ground!! The restaurant was ok, but it wasn't very welcoming. We felt they were pushing us out the door. LOL

It really ticked all the boxes for our 3 day stay. I must say that the breakfast was the freshest and best we have experienced in other hotels we have rated as very good. We also enjoyed the bar menus on each of our three evenings in the Old Bar (part of the hotel provision).

Apparently, according to the lovely receptionist, we drew the short straw and got gifted with a room overlooking a buiding site. The noise from the time we arrived at 3pm till approx 530pm was horrendous. Same room rate as those with no buiding site view. Not even a hint of any compensation for our inconvenience.

The Hotel overall was good, it was clean, the parking was good and the breakfast excellent. However, the bed in our room was too hard which meant that one of the guests was unable to sleep sufficiently in the bed with his wife and had to sleep alone in the single bed whose mattress was slightly more comfortable. The mattress on the large bed left the husband with sore points on their hips & ribs and also he subsequently suffered back pain from the uncomfortable mattress which lasted for a few days after.
