Loved villa d’este - cute property. Great rooms. Location and views unbeatable! Staff was super friendly. Everyone spoke English and Spanish. There is a great sauna and jacuzzi as well as a small pool. Breastfast was delicious with so many options.

O hotel é excelente mas o restaurante teve um aumento substancial nos valores. O mesmo para drinks e snacks do bar. O valor da rolha está caríssimo. Não tem estacionamento e pagamos 150 reais por dois dias com o carro parado na rua.

Foi uma experiência incrível!! O lugar é muito aconchegante, limpos, decoração maravilhosa, e localizado em lugar perfeito, do lado do centro. O atendimento é surreal do início ao fim! Os funcionários são mega educados! Café da manhã e jantar maravilhosos! Tudo muito gostoso! Vale cada minuto! Todo mundo deveria viver essa experiência! As duas piscinas são muito limpas e gostosas! Realmente um lugar lindo! Parabéns!

Sobre os pontos negativos que achei: 1 - A água do chuveiro e pia do banheiro do quarto estava com muito cheiro de mofo... insuportavelmente. Talvez precise de mais manutenção na caixa d'agua. 2 - Não ter estacionamento no local. O carro precisa ficar na rua e é dificil achar vaga e olha que fui em baixa temporada. 3 - Achei os preços do bar do hotel um pouco abusivos (uma taça de vinho 70,00 reais e a taxa de rolha 130,00 reais?). O hotel faz jus a sua fama, um dos melhores que já fiquei no Rio de Janeiro. A vista é simplesmente deslumbrante, com um pôr do sol de tirar o folego. A piscina aquecida é uma delicia de se ficar o dia inteiro. Café da manhã super completo, variado e de muita qualidade. Quarto amplo, roupas de cama MARAVILHOSAS . Fácil acesso a rua das pedras e perto das principais praias de búzios. Unica coisa que não me agradou foi o bar do hotel só servir bebidas alcoolicas a partir das 13:00 que é quando o barman chega para trabalhar.

Excelente Desde las recepción, la barra, el desayuno. Destacada atención del personal. Hermosa vista, impecable ambientación. Tiene una bajada directa a la orla bardot muy cómoda para ir a las playas o al centro que queda a pocos minutos. Se disfruta de las 2 piscinas y terrazas con vista increíble, aunque quedan justas con un poco de gente.

Beautiful property with an incredible breakfast and view over the water. Dinner at the restaurant and mistico next door were phenomenal. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger pool or a jacuzzi instead of the sauna. There’s a small dipping pool and then the small infinity pool. The room was small but comfortable.

A estadia foi muito agradável. Desde o check in até o check out fomos muito bem tratados e cuidados pelo funcionário Bastos. Todos os funcionários nos atenderam com simpatia, educação e sorriso no rosto. Foram cordiais nos cafés da manhã (que foram maravilhosos), no jantar e em todos os momentos. Nos fizeram nos sentir em casa. Reservei um dos quartos com banheira de imersão e gostei muito do espaço, da limpeza e da privacidade. As piscinas são ótimas, a aquecida tem um visual incomparável e a sauna é uma delícia. Minha esposa e eu sempre nos hospedamos em Búzios e desejávamos curtir um tempo no Vila d'este há alguns anos, mas nunca podíamos. Uma pena terem trocado os amenities, que eram da L'Occitane por outros da marca Áttica poucos dias antes de nos hospedarmos, pois no site do hotel, quando fizemos a reserva, ainda constava a informação de que os produtos eram da L'Occitane, marca predileta da minha esposa. Mas isso não prejudicou em nada nossa estadia. Ao contrário disso, fomos mimados com um presente de aniversário de casamento pelo Bastos com uma sessão de massagem no spa do hotel. A massagista que nos atendeu, Agoura, se eu não me engano, foi fantástica. Foi a melhor massagem que recebemos em Búzios. Além de tudo nos ajudaram e carregaram nossas malas na chegada e na saída. Voltaremos com certeza.

This was an incredible property. I found it unique and totally a vibe. My vibe. It was classy and elegant while holding an earthy feelings. Lots of plants and natural light. The property was very clean, room was clean and well organized. I felt like it was worth every dollar. Truly a first class experience. Everyone was very professional, helpful and genuinely kind. I bounced around hotels while I stayed in Búzios and this was by far my favourite. Filipe at the front desk was a gentleman. I came while he was helping other people. He asked them to wait a moment. Excused himself and told me I could sit in the hotel while I waited. Was like a nice comfortable living room. He assured me he would assist me soon. When he did come he took me for a complimentary drink and then showed me around. Excellent service. I can’t say enough. Waiting uncontrollably is the worst and he made sure I didn’t feel this at all. 10 out or 10 recommend!

Minha avaliação foi rigorosa por ser um hotel 5 estrelas e por ter me hospedado há 4 anos pela última vez. A qualidade diminuiu bastante em relação a recepção com atendimento fraco, pouco experiente e sem acolhimento. Em relação ao quarto, chuveiro bem antigo que espirra para os lados, suporte do chuveirinho nojento, toalhas e pisos encardidos e não possui roupão. Cadeira de leitura do quarto muito suja, manta manchada de sujeira e televisão sem smart TV e com pouquíssimas opções de canais. Uma long neck de Heineken custa R$30,00 e os drinks acima de R$50,00 contando com o serviço. Sendo que na área da piscina a maior parte das espreguiçadeiras com estofados em manutenção em pleno final de semana. O restaurante Alto, apesar de ser lindo, está muito mal aproveitado. O preço extremamente elevado dos pratos e bebidas, não condizem nem com o atendimento e nem com a qualidade da comida. Resumindo: extremamente decepcionada com o que se tornou esse hotel. Não está valendo o que se paga.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel. All of the staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Our room did not have any view which was a shame, but I think that was all that was available when we booked. We had a bath on the small terrace, but we did not use it and it seemed a bit pointless placed where it was. One complaint about the room was not enough places to store things. The food in the restaurant was excellent, except on Christmas Eve when we paid a lot of money (£140 per person) for a very poor meal. Other diners that we spoke to agreed. But that was a one off! We ate there 2 other times and were very happy, but the wine choices were poor and expensive.

Perfection at every little detail. The staff is very helpful, extremely friendly, and spot on! Always going out of their way to make us happy! The rooms are super comfortable, modern and well designed. Heated pool with an stunning view to the beach. The restaurant is one of the best in Buzios. All the guys at the restaurant were Amazing but Frede and Javier made our stay memorable!! We will definetly come back !!

Minha avaliação foi rigorosa por ser um hotel 5 estrelas e por ter me hospedado há 4 anos pela última vez. A qualidade diminuiu bastante em relação a recepção com atendimento fraco, pouco experiente e sem acolhimento. Em relação ao quarto, chuveiro bem antigo que espirra para os lados, suporte do chuveirinho nojento, toalhas e pisos encardidos e não possui roupão. Cadeira de leitura do quarto muito suja, manta manchada de sujeira e televisão sem smart TV e com pouquíssimas opções de canais. Uma long neck de Heineken custa R$30,00 e os drinks acima de R$50,00 contando com o serviço. Sendo que na área da piscina a maior parte das espreguiçadeiras com estofados em manutenção em pleno final de semana. O restaurante Alto, apesar de ser lindo, está muito mal aproveitado. O preço extremamente elevado dos pratos e bebidas, não condizem nem com o atendimento e nem com a qualidade da comida. Resumindo: extremamente decepcionada com o que se tornou esse hotel. Não está valendo o que se paga.

The hotel is amazing, the images don’t do it justice. The staff really do give 5* service. From the second you walk into the hotel it’s like a little sanctuary, and when you see the views just wow. The breakfast was excellent, the cocktails at the bar were fab, and we ate in the restaurant one night which was also excellent. The room was much bigger than expected and nice to have a private courtyard. My only two suggestions would be in the bedrooms - to provide bottled water daily, and to provide a wastebasket in the room. This hotel really is a gem, it’s beautiful and we really couldn’t fault it. Also in a great location and the steps take you straight to the Bardot walk (and statue outside).

Fácil acesso a rua das pedras e perto das principais praias de búzios. O quarto que fiquei foi muito bom, bem decorado e confortável. O café da manhã não me agrada muito, mais bonito que gostoso. Mas gosto muito da localização, tanto que é minha segunda ou terceira vez na pousada. Foram super fofos deixando um Mimo no quarto, já que estávamos comemorando nosso aniversário de casamento.

Fabulous from start to finish. Views are amazing and everything is within walking distance. The steps to access the hotel from the beach are daunting but you get used to it and plan accordingly. Tip: if you are heading towards nearby Ossos Beach for a meal or sunbathing, then just walk on the street from the front of the hotel it’s quick, easy and avoids the steps. Rooms were lovely and individual. Staff were great and our entire stay felt safe and luxurious.

Beautiful property with an incredible breakfast and view over the water. Dinner at the restaurant and mistico next door were phenomenal. My only complaint is I wish they had a bigger pool or a jacuzzi instead of the sauna. There’s a small dipping pool and then the small infinity pool. The room was small but comfortable.

A estadia foi muito agradável. Desde o check in até o check out fomos muito bem tratados e cuidados pelo funcionário Bastos. Todos os funcionários nos atenderam com simpatia, educação e sorriso no rosto. Foram cordiais nos cafés da manhã (que foram maravilhosos), no jantar e em todos os momentos. Nos fizeram nos sentir em casa. Reservei um dos quartos com banheira de imersão e gostei muito do espaço, da limpeza e da privacidade. As piscinas são ótimas, a aquecida tem um visual incomparável e a sauna é uma delícia. Minha esposa e eu sempre nos hospedamos em Búzios e desejávamos curtir um tempo no Vila d'este há alguns anos, mas nunca podíamos. Uma pena terem trocado os amenities, que eram da L'Occitane por outros da marca Áttica poucos dias antes de nos hospedarmos, pois no site do hotel, quando fizemos a reserva, ainda constava a informação de que os produtos eram da L'Occitane, marca predileta da minha esposa. Mas isso não prejudicou em nada nossa estadia. Ao contrário disso, fomos mimados com um presente de aniversário de casamento pelo Bastos com uma sessão de massagem no spa do hotel. A massagista que nos atendeu, Agoura, se eu não me engano, foi fantástica. Foi a melhor massagem que recebemos em Búzios. Além de tudo nos ajudaram e carregaram nossas malas na chegada e na saída. Voltaremos com certeza.

Pros: Comfortable room, easy access to Bardot boardwalk, welcome drink at the pool was very good, and the pool is beautiful. Cons: No parking available on the property and no support is provided by the hotel on how/where to park. We parked on the street and got a ticket that was charged by hour rather than by day. We mistakenly thought that the coffee in the room was complimentary (as it typically is) but were charged at check-out. My partner had a meeting at checkout time and asked if we could stay 30 minutes extra so he could take the meeting in our hotel room but his request was refused.

Lia and the staff at the restaurant were wonderful. She even found a dressing I liked and researched where I could buy some for myself after I left the hotel. The test of the staff was wonderful as well.

Já conhecia o hotel e, quatro anos depois da primeira estadia, constatei que a qualidade foi mantida, no geral. Houve problema no check-in, pois não havia quarto disponível às 15 horas, horário definido pelo próprio hotel como de entrada dos hóspedes. Perguntei ao chefe da recepção qual seria a previsão de horário para entrarmos no quarto e ele se esquivou, sem querer se comprometer. Sugeriu nos compensar com late check-out de + 1 h. Decidimos almoçar fora do hotel e retornamos 1:30 h depois, quando finalmente o quarto estava disponível. Muito desagradável isso em plena baixa temporada, com o hotel apenas parcialmente ocupado. Café da manhã maravilhoso com itens de patisserie, canapés, tapas e sanduiches deliciosos, fugindo do padrão. O cardápio do restaurante para almoço e jantar tem preços muito altos, considerando que os pratos são bastante comuns. A carta de vinhos, em média, tem rótulos com preços 2,5 vezes superiores aos valores cobrados por distribuidores e lojas de vinhos, o que não considero razoável, mesmo para um hotel.

Péssimo para o que custa! Nunca mais!!! Quarto mais caro fica embaixo do restaurante, a partir de 7h da manhã arrastam móveis e vc não dorme mais. Empregados nada gentis, nem se oferecem pra ajudar a levar as malas , ficam olhando. Surreal! O café acaba 11h, pedimos mais um ovo exatamente 11h e se negaram a fazer. Era cliente da pousada vizinha e já voltei a ser. Nunca mais caio nesta furada! Extremamente decepcionada

This is a great spot to stay in Buzios. Beautiful property, excellent location, great amenities and really really thoughtful staff. Some highlights- the heated pool at sunset, the great breakfast, and the ease of stepping out the quiet oasis of a property onto the Main Street into town, just minutes away. And the staff are great! Offering ideas and really attentive. You’ll love it.

O hotel é excelente mas o restaurante teve um aumento substancial nos valores. O mesmo para drinks e snacks do bar. O valor da rolha está caríssimo. Não tem estacionamento e pagamos 150 reais por dois dias com o carro parado na rua.

We spent 5 nights at the hotel. All of the staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Our room did not have any view which was a shame, but I think that was all that was available when we booked. We had a bath on the small terrace, but we did not use it and it seemed a bit pointless placed where it was. One complaint about the room was not enough places to store things. The food in the restaurant was excellent, except on Christmas Eve when we paid a lot of money (£140 per person) for a very poor meal. Other diners that we spoke to agreed. But that was a one off! We ate there 2 other times and were very happy, but the wine choices were poor and expensive.

Incredible boutique hotel with the perfect location right next to Buzio's vibrant downtown. The restaurant is phenomenal and the staff are the absolute best; just wonderful service all around. I hope to be back to Villa D'Este as soon as possible.

O hotel.é excelente mas pecou na disponibilissde dos produtos do bar. Ao encerrar o serviço do café da manhã só conseguimos ser servidos de novo 13 horas, hora que o bar reabria. Achei frustrante não conseguir boa vontade do atendente em pegar uma bebida pronta como uma cerveja pu uma garrafa de vinho com a justificativa que o bar estava fechado. Totalmente sem nexo em um sábado de 37 graus.

Minha avaliação foi rigorosa por ser um hotel 5 estrelas e por ter me hospedado há 4 anos pela última vez. A qualidade diminuiu bastante em relação a recepção com atendimento fraco, pouco experiente e sem acolhimento. Em relação ao quarto, chuveiro bem antigo que espirra para os lados, suporte do chuveirinho nojento, toalhas e pisos encardidos e não possui roupão. Cadeira de leitura do quarto muito suja, manta manchada de sujeira e televisão sem smart TV e com pouquíssimas opções de canais. Uma long neck de Heineken custa R$30,00 e os drinks acima de R$50,00 contando com o serviço. Sendo que na área da piscina a maior parte das espreguiçadeiras com estofados em manutenção em pleno final de semana. O restaurante Alto, apesar de ser lindo, está muito mal aproveitado. O preço extremamente elevado dos pratos e bebidas, não condizem nem com o atendimento e nem com a qualidade da comida. Resumindo: extremamente decepcionada com o que se tornou esse hotel. Não está valendo o que se paga.

O hotel faz jus a sua fama, um dos melhores que já fiquei no Rio de Janeiro. A vista é simplesmente deslumbrante, com um pôr do sol de tirar o folego. A piscina aquecida é uma delicia de se ficar o dia inteiro. Café da manhã super completo, variado e de muita qualidade. Quarto amplo, roupas de cama MARAVILHOSAS . Fácil acesso a rua das pedras e perto das principais praias de búzios. Unica coisa que não me agradou foi o bar do hotel só servir bebidas alcoolicas a partir das 13:00 que é quando o barman chega para trabalhar.

I really had a great time there. All the staff is very nice and helpful. It is very well situated. You can do almost everything walking distance except if you go to different beaches but Joao Fernández is really close. If one day I go back to Buzios I will for sure go there again !

Gorgeous hotel with amazing views. The reception staff was exceptional!! They were helpful with all our requests!! The rooms were great. I just got the classic room but I had friends that got upgrades. I highly recommend the room with jacuzzi!! They were so kind to heat it for us every night before our arrival. The hotel is centrally located to so many restaurants bars and shopping!! No doubt I would stay here again.

Wow, from the time we arrived to the day we left the staff including Guilherme, Nicholas And Lucas to name a few were so amazing. All the staff at the bar and Alta were great too. Breakfast was a lovely choice of different baked goods, fruit, or you could order eggs omlettes waffles etc. fresh juice tea and coffee were serve yourself. The two pools although small were adequate for a quick dip, the spa pool had great views and was a warmer temperature. The room we had was a good size, massive king size bed and had a lovely little terrace. Very comfy and quiet. The location is great too, just down some cobbled steps to the main st and a short walk into town or to a beach or to get a water taxi to another beach. We can’t wait to return, hopefully in two years with some friends to celebrate some birthdays.
