Perfect hotel for a bourbon trip with some downtown time. Hotel is beautiful and the bar is amazing. Breakfast buffet is definitely worth it. Great location for walking around downtown. Close to everything. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

No refrigerator in room. Small room. Bed was comfortable. I thought overpriced for what you got, paying for the name and history.

So I stayed two nights and the staff was great up until my second night and I had to call the front desk at 2am because of loud music and yelling and nothing was done. Cynthia the front desk lady was the one I called. I was so mad that nothing was being done that checked out at 3am and headed home. She did offer me another room but by the I wanted out of there. She never once apologized about the situation. And the security guard didn’t do their job and no it wasn’t Patrick because he was awesome and had ended his shift. So that was a bummer to end my stay. Plus the amount that the hotel charges to park each time you leave the hotel is outrageous. I paid $44 just to park and that’s insane. So I will never stay there again but I will meet up with Patrick again to take his ghost and history tour. He and Hannah who was my server at the Seelbach restaurant were both awesome.

The lobby, bar, and common areas were beautiful. It made the room itself feel somewhat lackluster once we got in, but overall it's a very clean hotel. My one complaint was on our last night, the adjoining room was booked with some very noisy neighbors who stayed up past midnight and got up before 7am. So, basically we were on their sleep schedule due to there being virtually no sound barrier. I don't know much about logistics, but I don't think an adjoining room should be booked unless they're part of your party or the hotel is full and there's no other choice.
