The Frogs Castle

This was my first Vrbo experience and it absolutely blew my mind. To me, communication is key and Carlos definitely checked that box. The place is exactly like the photos & has ample parking space with a pretty nice canopy. You are near plenty of places to eat and the placement of I-4 couldn't have been more clutch for longer destinations. Back patio is nice for a little gathering with a small charcoal grill that can be used as well. The neighborhood does look slightly sketchy read from past reviews, but in every way we felt safe and it was a pretty quiet area nonetheless. The check in and out process was a breeze to deal with too. Overall very content, will recommend to others and will return. Thank you.

Property was clean and just as seen in the photos. The outside needs some upkeep and there was flooding at the street entrance. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Carlos was so nice and clear in communication. Easy access to the property with secure code system. The house has been furnitured with style and class and was super clean in a quiet area. We stayed there for 3 nights and were a group of 4. We appreciated the backyard as well the space the house has offered. Highly recommended!

This home was nicely appointed. a nice place to stay. It was exactly as described. The only downside was the fence line was falling down to the back yard. But that would not keep me from returning. It was very convenient.

The house didn’t have any hot pads and only one kitchen dish towel and he had those items shipped to us the next day. That was great! However, there is an active cockroach problem in the house. The owner has bug spray that I used (doesn’t seem like something I should have to do on vacation!) but there was still an issue the entire week we were there. We saw a couple of cockroaches even on our last day. That was not good. The floors need a good deep cleaning, especially in the kitchen. There was also an issue with the AC not working. That issue got resolved our last night by the owner. I know the owner was out of the country for a while so maybe that had something to do with the condition of the house. Also, the outside of the house looks a bit rundown with a broken fence and could use a little upkeep all around. The house can sleep quite a few people with three bedrooms and two full baths. It was just the two of us so we had a ton of space. The house could be a really good spot with some deep cleaning and then getting the cockroach problem taken care of.

Beds were terrible especially master bed. Outside of property was full of garbage. Space was nice and well appointed.

My honest review: Was very excited to stay here, however once we got here, not so much. Very nice home, but when we opened the door, we were hit with 90 air. The house was hot. Fans were blowing which was a red flag right away. AC was locked to 79 (94 outside I might add). Messaged Carlos a few times, no response. Floors were very dirty, left our socks filthy. Shower in master didn't work. Again, no response from Carlos. Now, roaches. No response from Carlos. Called him the next day, left a VM... still no call back. If you stay here and have an urgent problem, I don't know how responsive the owner will be. Other than that, the house itself was lovely.

some friends and I stayed here over NYE and it was probably the best stay I’ve ever experienced. The host was super attentive, extremely kind and went out of his way to make this experience the best it could be. This property is so beautiful, and so clean… I felt right at home. I would definitely rebook this home!!!

Walking around inside the house the floors left our feet completely black, there was limited supplies in the house that would make it difficult for a long-term stay. Overall it was okay, I would consider staying there again.

This was by far the worst vacation rental experience I've had. The home was uncomfortably hot during our entire stay the thermostat was locked at 79 degrees and could not be adjusted without a PIN. Despite reaching out to the host for assistance (with the thermostat and temperature shown in photos), I never received a response. With outdoor temperatures reaching 95 degrees, the home was stifling, and though there were 2–3 fans in every room, it did little to help.One bedroom lacked both a ceiling fan and overhead lighting instead, it had a couple of lamps. Shockingly, in one of the other bedrooms the lamp shade had a pair of women’s underwear draped over it (also pictured), which was completely unacceptable and unhygienic.To make matters worse, the WiFi went out around 2 a.m., disabling both the TV and the thermostat, which remained unusable until we checked out at 11 a.m. the next day still without a fix or communication from the host.The lack of air control, complete disregard for hygiene, and total absence of communication made this an incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable stay. It felt like the host had no concern for our comfort or basic standards of cleanliness. I would not recommend this property or any others managed by this host.

This property had more than enough space for us. It was easy enough to find and in a perfect spot for a Universal Studios/Daytona Beach vacay. Only a couple small complaints. First, there was a 5 cup coffee maker. I find it odd to not have a single cup coffee maker (think Keurig). This just meant more cleaning up. Second, there were ants. We bought a sealed box of donuts from the store. When my daughter went to open them the next morning (still sealed), there were tiny ants inside the box. We then threw away any open bags/boxes of food. After that, we kept all food inside the refrigerator. We saw larger ants in beds, bathrooms and on the floor. Third, there were no check out instructions. I loaded and started the dishwasher like I've done at other properties. I also piled all used towels by the washer/dryer. It would've been nice to have some sort of guidance.

Accurate listing. Property inside is very nice however amenities are minimal. No spare towels or kitchen towels. Also, water pressure in guest restroom is very low and thr water temperature fluctuates to extremes. Goes from hot shower to very cold without adjusting. Overall, nice for a quick weekend.

The house was spacious, clean and quiet. Overall worked great for our needs. The master bedroom and bathroom was very spacious and newly remodeled. There were a couple of minor issues that could make the home more comfortable for future guests. One of the can lights in the kitchen was flickering, so we had to cover it up. There were no hand towels in the bathroom or kitchen. And the sheets to the beds were of poor quality and constantly slipping off of the mattress. All in all small annoyances that can easily be fixed by the host.
