La tarjeta para prender la luz está enlazada con la llave de la habitación. No se la pueden separar. Cuando se sale del cuarto, se debe recuperar esa tarjeta para cerrar la puerta. Entonces se apaga la luz y el aire acondicionado. Cuando uno entra en el cuarto después de horas, el calor está muy fuerte y se necesita bastante tiempo para que la temperatura esté fresca….

Our stay at Hotel Kaveka was made truly exceptional by the people, especially the front desk. We were so fortunate to be helped by Moa, who was a total wealth of knowledge. Instead of the usual tourist scripts, she gave us genuine, localized tips and clever hints that completely transformed our time on the island. The hotel itself is charming, with that authentic Polynesian feel you just can’t find at the big resorts, and the over-water dining view of Cook’s Bay is unbeatable. La wifi ne capte pas dans la chambre, la promesse n’a pas été tenu. La chambre est relativement propre. Le personnel est très chaleureux et accueillant, bien prévoir de prendre une voiture de location et de prévoir la caution pour visiter sinon c’est très compliqué.

All good except marginal WiFi

The room and property are nice but it is absolutely the WORST internet connection- constantly disconnecting and sometimes had to sit outside my room on the porch- which I didn’t always want to do- in order to have a consistent signal. Very annoying. Breakfast buffet of $36 USD very over-priced for what it is. $20 USD would even be too much, but more reasonable.
