I have stayed at Extended Stay America before and had a good experience, but I won't stay here again, ever! The kitchenette did not have anything in it; no dishes, no coffee maker, no toaster, no utinsels. The bathroom had two towels and when we asked for extra we were charged $1.75ea; no bath mat, no soap, no washclothes, no kleenex. Killed a bug that looked like a cockroach; black mold above the shower; sink drain rusted; cigarette burn in the carpet; door was not sealed well so room losing cool air. Office open limited hours, did not know what to do for check out because there was no instructions, so left key in room.

This hotel is in a great location. I wanted to stay here because of the kitchen however there was nothing in the kitchen, no silverware, pots pans dishes etc. There was only one working light, which was right next to the bed. the main light flickered on and off and was super loud. Breakfast was included but coffee was available at 6:30 am, too late for me to have before work.

Run down. It's got a full kitchen, but it costs $40 or more extra if you want plates, etc. Office is not staffed. I left a day early and wanted to let them know, but searched the property without success. Great location, but will not stay there again.

We checked in and went to our room. After unpacking, we discovered the heat/ air conditioner did not work. We got a room change after we repacked. The room was very spartan and did not have and kleenex or a place for it. At 8AM, the leaf blower dounded likd a semi truck in from of the room. End of sleep after a long drive. No coffee, in the lobby, and no breakfast offered to guests. I would not stay there again.

If I had to do an extended stay at the Extended Stay it would suck. Room had no TV remote, no bathroom essentials (just one little bar of hand soap) & absolutely nothing in the kitchen drawers/cabinets to eat food or cook it. Also, they don't even have an ice machine & it says they have a breakfast but they definitely don't have that either.

Great "basic" room used for the week while volunteering at the WMPO. Last minute reservation so we could only get a Queen bed. No pots, pans, plates, or utensils provided unless purchased in the office. We went to Target for what we needed. If you're volunteering at the Open, the hotel is only 1 1/2 miles from the volunteer tent.

As soon as we got to the room, we found cockroaches crawling in the bathroom surfaces were dirty, still splatter marks from the sink and toothpaste. Counter in the kitchenette was also gross. We left the same day that we checked in. Asked for a refund, told it would be given and then we still have not received it.

As soon as walked into the room there were problems. FILTHY. STINKY. The lamp next to my bed was hanging sideways and broke. The room stunk like dirty feet. There was black soot all over the floor. I spoke with front desk clerk whom I waited 15 min for. She said she would send somebody to the room to clean the room and floor. As I took the elevator down to the office to speak with her-there was also black soot all over the floor in the elevator as well. I went back to room that evening and nothing had been cleaned or tidied up. I was told she was the only one there and does everything including going on room calls and passing out towels when necessary.

BUGS BUGS BUGS. Killed about 20 roaches my first night, left early the next morning and cancelled the last two nights. It was very dirty. Floors sticky, towel from previous guest still hanging, dirt in every drawer, and generally nasty. Staff said the exterminators came recently and they're probably getting drawn out. Obviously there's a problem here not getting fixed and they weren't surprised at all.

I stayed in a king room. I found the accommodations to be acceptable. The tv and channels where a little rough but ok for a night or so. The mattress sucked was hard as rocks the pillows thinner than paper but acceptable for a night or 2. The room itself is a good open size and the amenities are good for short or long stays. A sold 3/5 stay but a little pricy at 112 for the night i stayed.

Last minute booking as my car was being repaired nearby. Needed a budget friendly hotel for the night. Location was easy to find and quick check-in. Gas station next door 24/7 for food/drink. Staff were friendly, building very clean inside and out. Room was comfortable and quiet.

I couldn’t get the water on for a shower. The clerk transposed my last name with my cousin’s so I couldn’t use the internet. I couldn’t get the tv to full screen so I had to watch it in a very small window in the top left hand corner.

When we arrived to check in the office was open but no one was there to help check us in. waited about 45 minutes started making calls with no help. someone finally came in and said the other person working had to leave and she had to come in from the store. Next the room they checked us into was dirty beds undone. next room beds were made but there was bloody trash in the bathroom. disgusting we called but they said they had no more rooms and would come clean it, no one ever came. Horrible experience!!

I booked this at 1118pm. When I arrived the property was locked and there’s a phone to call for the help desk. They continue to tell me that I did not book a reservation. After I proved to them that I did book a reservation by providing a confirmation number. They then stated that they canceled my reservation because they do not do reservations after 11 PM I was stuck standing outside in the evening at midnight with no room even though my deposit and money had been paid of $99.30 I spoke with multiple agents using their wall phone someone named Net and Ari both were very short and unhelpful. Now I need to figure out how to get a refund for a property I never stayed at.

Staff was rude. Took over 3 hours to check in. Spoke to Expedia twice before we were checked in, we were assigned same hotel confirmation number as another customer. Will never use Expedia or stay at this chain. Refund will be requested from Expedia.

Pulled the cover down, there was hair and debris on the sheets. Called the front desk. She came and checked the bed. Said she’d change the sheets then moved us to a different room instead. That bed wasn’t much better. No shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged oatmeal and coffee. No utensils were provided. The front desk clerk hid when we got the oatmeal so was no help at all

I was flying into Phoenix unexpectedly and didn’t have a place to stay so I made a reservation at extended stay in Scottsdale for 3 nights. I received a confirmation code from hotels.com. At about 800pm on 10/7 I went to check in and the Front Desk turned me away. They had a big sign taped on their lobby door that said “Sold Out” I explained that I had made a reservation that day and she responded that this happens a lot with third parties. She said there wasn’t anything she could do about it so I scrambled and found another hotel that had availability. I checked my AmEx card a few days later acre saw that I was charged for one night. I tried getting in touch with hotels.com with no luck so I’ve started the process of AmEx trying to get my money back.

The property is very worn down and not worth the price per night. There were suspicious looking men hanging in the parking lot during the day and in their cars listening to music into the night and early morning hours.

Very basic bed are really uncomfortable Zero amenities. Floors were dirty I don’t think they have mop in a very long time my socks were filthy. Great food option in next door shopping center. Great price but not worth it for bad points. It states gran and go breakfast hum!!! Really bad coffee and packed very stale muffins two flavors. How is that considered breakfast

The property was pretty much as expected given the area and pricing compared to many around. A reasonable deal for the stay. My only real disappointment was the description of free breakfast was only an oatmeal and coffe bar and not what we had been quit accustomed to in our travels. None the less it served our purpose and was affordable. .

This hotel is in a great location. I wanted to stay here because of the kitchen however there was nothing in the kitchen, no silverware, pots pans dishes etc. There was only one working light, which was right next to the bed. the main light flickered on and off and was super loud. Breakfast was included but coffee was available at 6:30 am, too late for me to have before work.

We checked in and went to our room. After unpacking, we discovered the heat/ air conditioner did not work. We got a room change after we repacked. The room was very spartan and did not have and kleenex or a place for it. At 8AM, the leaf blower dounded likd a semi truck in from of the room. End of sleep after a long drive. No coffee, in the lobby, and no breakfast offered to guests. I would not stay there again.

If I had to do an extended stay at the Extended Stay it would suck. Room had no TV remote, no bathroom essentials (just one little bar of hand soap) & absolutely nothing in the kitchen drawers/cabinets to eat food or cook it. Also, they don't even have an ice machine & it says they have a breakfast but they definitely don't have that either.

Pulled the cover down, there was hair and debris on the sheets. Called the front desk. She came and checked the bed. Said she’d change the sheets then moved us to a different room instead. That bed wasn’t much better. No shampoo or conditioner. Breakfast consisted of prepackaged oatmeal and coffee. No utensils were provided. The front desk clerk hid when we got the oatmeal so was no help at all

I really enjoyed my stay at Exteded stay suites. I stayed 3 nights, and I can't find anything to complain about. If you are looking for a luxury hotel this isn't it, but if you are looking for a nice place to rest your head then I recommend this hotel. If I visit Scottsdale again. I will stay again at Extended Stay Suites. The neighborhood is nice and safe. The building is clean, and they even give you coffee and a muffin for breakfast. They also have a full kitchen with a large refridgerator. I highly recommend staying there.

Love the staff. They worked hard at finding a room that would work for my wife and I. Second time staying there. Can’t beat the price in Scottsdale. Room was nice and chilly (76) versus 112 outside.

The first room I was given had a very sticky floor and you could see a visable film on it. I was moved to another which seemed ok. I got up in the morning. Took a shower and noticed a hole in the ceiling right over the tub. I looked inside and did not notice anything hidden. It was likely a very poorly executed repair. Then came me taking a shower. I look down and notice a dark substance around me feet as if I was standing in a mud puddle before showering. Turns out the floors in this room were amazing dirty. And who knows what chemicals that have used on it prior. But, my feet have not felt quite right all day. I wiped the floors in the common spots after I figured the source of the grime and presented it to the management.
