WOW! This place is beautiful! A wonderfully restored building from 1880. The interior work and attention to detail is simply amazing. Our room, a King bed, was on the small side. Very European. The bathroom was impressive. One sink but plenty of counter space for 2 people. The rain shower was delightful. There is a 'pantry' with refrigerator, coffee machine and electric tea kettle. A large TV. Unfortunately, no local news. The fresh cookies on arrival were a nice treat. There is a 24 hour snack and beverage kiosk near the rear entrance. Soft drinks, chips, cookies, and trail mix to enjoy. In the morning this becomes the breakfast area. Coffee and tea. A very nice selection of pastries, scones, and egg pastries. To alter Jimmy Buffett's lyrics.. . 'it WON'T remind you of the fare at a Holiday Inn'. The location close to downtown is convenient. In the evening there are free cocktails on second floor deck. A seriously nice view of Marquette Harbor, the ore dock and some of the downtown landmarks. They have Lectric Ebikes available to use/rent. We found the keyless entry to the hotel and rooms a little hinkey. We kinda got it before we left. The only time there was any interaction with staff was in the morning. They were all very nice. I enjoy and frequently stay in boutique hotels. I have to say this is by far the nicest I have been lucky enough to spend several nights.

Great hotel to stay when taking son to Michigan Tech. Parking was an issue at first though was remedied right away. Appreciated Frank during happy hour. Gave some excellent advice on spots in the area.

Great choice for a stay in downtown Marquette. I’m not totally enamored with virtual hotels, but this one is changing my mind. It’s a lively place, and the reduced overhead translates to a larger and nicer room at a lower cost. The future is coming, this one pulls it off better than any other we’ve stayed in. Excellent location for a visit, and Shawnee the resident employee was friendly and helpful.
