Meadowvale Apartment Hotel

The beds were a lottle hard but that was ok. The room was a bit qarm but was told upon leaving thst they were fixing it that day. And they should have pots and pans, 2 to 4 forks spoons knives glasses etc so u can cook there and have everything u need. Others great.

I loved the property so much. It was clean and had awesome amenities. I loved that I could do my laundry anytime and it felt like I was home. The contact property responded to all my needs immediately. What can be improved: add cleaning mop and broom to property. I was there for a week and wouldn’t have minded having those to sort out some cleaning here and there . Overall, cozy property!

Ample space, clean, easy access / check-in, full kitchen including dishwasher however very few utensils and pots and pans. Beds comfortable.

Located right off the highway which made it easy and convenient. Rooms are very large with two bathrooms. Perfect for large families.

The location for the properties pretty nice. There are Circle K and some grocery stores around. The kitchen carries almost everything to prepare a meal, so just need to grab ingredients.

Needed more pots- there was no frying pan or baking trays. There were no brooms to sweep. Loved that there was washing machine & dryer. Place was very clean. Uber access was excellent.

It was dirty all over the place. Cut nails on the couch Slides on the walls Hairs an crumbs all over the floor Hairs in the shower No curtain shower The place was Freezing cold because floor and windows are not isolated at all. We were literally walking on ice cause we’re were on ground floor. No plates glasses utensils what so ever except one dirty plate and one dirty glass in the dishwasher. We left the morning after we arrived even if we were suppose to stay 2 nights. We tried to communicate with them. No answers since we left. Owner should be shy to rent a place like that and charge people to stay there. My advice: stay far away from this place. It’s disgusting.

Our unit was noisy from the building next door. No garbage cans except ones catching water from the air conditioners. Our unit contained nearly no dishes - though we did all laugh at the single bowl and single spoon. Two bedrooms, one spoon. Beds were stiff. Small stains on the bedsheets. Only positives were the TV and the proximity to the zoo. Would not recommend.

Space is amazing 10/10 5stars But the cleanliness is -10/10. I dont recommend this for family with kids cos the room smells like cigarette smoke. Floors are extremely dirty.

Dear Expedia Customer Service, Thank you for offering us the package deal for our recent trip. Unfortunately, our experience at the Meadowvale Apartments was very disappointing, and I feel the need to bring this to your attention. Before our arrival, I tried calling the contact number provided multiple times, but no one answered. When we arrived at the apartment, no one was there to greet us. Again, I called with no response. Someone nearby informed me the manager was inside the game place building. I walked over and called again; I could hear the phone ringing and realized he had the phone but was ignoring the call. When I explained that we were there to stay for the next 9 days, he simply said we were too early (we arrived around 1 PM). I told him we were very tired and traveling with children, and he reluctantly agreed to give us the unit after cleaning. He showed us a very dirty unit, which made my wife extremely upset. Eventually, the unit was cleaned, and the bed sheets were changed, which we appreciated. However, the issues continued: • The unit was not properly stocked: only 2 cups, 2 plates, and 2 cooking pans for 6 people. • The dishes were dirty and left in the dishwasher. When I tried to run the dishwasher, it didn’t work. • I had to contact the cleaner (since the main phone still went unanswered) and they came to fix the dishwasher. • When we requested more dishes, they gave us just 4 paper plates and 2 paper cups. • The cooking pans were in terrible con

Property location is hard to find. "Front desk" is located inside the arcade for the apartment building and the front desk for the apartment building didnt know what i was talking about when I mentioned Meadowvale Apartment Hotel. The room itself was disgusting. Floors had dirt and hair all over. The beds were dirty and had hair on pillow cases and linens. And that wasnt even the worse part of the room. There was no heat and no hot water and there was no maintenance professional to fix the issues.

Neighbors next door were outside smoking and being very loud throughout the night. Received an e-mail 24 hours before check-in asking for photo ID and other personal information so they could send me the door code. I sent it but never got a reply so that was cause for concern. Location is 30-45 minutes from downtown Toronto. We enjoyed our stay but there are improvements that need to be made.

While the inside of the apartment was quite nice it was missing many key “amenities”. The kitchen could definitely stand to have more dishware, glasses, and cookware. Did not even have a toaster. If I wasn’t staying here to move into my new apartment and buying practical things for my place it would have been much more difficult to operate in that regard. It was also strange to have to go into the arcade next door to check in and retrieve our key fob but the staff were kind and helpful. Lastly the AC is locked (i.e. you cannot adjust it) and it was constantly kicking in when it was not necessary so we were quite cold. However all the furniture was very comfortable, the rooms were nice and dark for sleeping, and there was lots of room to exist in - way better than being in a cramped hotel room

The apartments are almost store fronts so right in the parking lot. I recommend bringing a sleeping mask because there aren’t any black out blinds and the lights from the parking lot are very bright. Because the bedroom is on street level it’s very loud when people are hanging outside. Spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. The AC wasn’t working so it was very hot. Too hot to sleep. But maybe that issue got fixed. I recommend bringing camping style plates and forks and things. There is a nice kitchen but it’s not stocked with anything. Just one very banged up frying pan. It is close to the 401 so easy to get around. We were there for a swim meet at the Panam pool it is one exit off the highway so that was convenient.

The suit was spacious and updated with mordern appliance. The king size bedroom would benefit from a closet or it would make more sense to have the room be the main room with the master bath, just didnt make sense. Room 6 had a wasted nook in the king bedroom. Why 3 stars? Especially room 6, the temp did not make it higher than 15 deg celecius ( max out thermostat setpoint). The stay was second week of december with snow on the ground. The biggest issue to me is the entry design and leaky frame. This need serious attention. I would almost rate a 2 if not fixed. The front bedroom was very cold since it was majorily affected by the bad frontal design. The front looks good but not very practical. Might could add radiant heaters at the entry to create a heat wall. I cannot speak for summer temp condiotions as i have not experienced it.

It wasn't until I was at the property that someone finally answered and told me where to go. Apparently there's a sign on the arcade next door but its behind the door with blackout paint so you can't see it until you're inside. They even processed my credit card before ever speaking to me. If you're not going to have a service rep on site, you need to have better communication! What if we had needed more help than just the rooms being hot? Who would we have contacted? The location is fine, close to the highway, within easy driving of Toronto. There is a convenience store next door which was really great in the morning when we were leaving. I was a little worried about the noise from the arcade since we were in the connecting unit but it closed at a reasonable time.

Check in is done in an arcade in a strip mall. The room was clean but the shades in the bedroom allowed someone to be able to see in from outside, and was made worse by the mirrored closet door.

The unit they gave us first (2 bedroom apt) was right next to a gaming arcade and there was lot of noise until 11pm. We requested for another until but got it only after 3 nights. The next unit they gave us was a 3 bedroom (for no extra charge). This unit was quiet but the temperature setting was locked at 74 deg. We couldn’t increase or decrease. Annoying. There were not enough utensils either. Having a kitchen and not enough utensils. They can’t expect us to buy utensils or bring from home.

Loved the accessibility of this location. Right off the highway and fairly close to downtown Toronto. The unit was clean, we were a bit annoyed by the amount of flies inside and one bedroom door that wouldn’t close but other than that it was super convenient! I was a bit worried about the check-in process being virtual but it was super easy to get the key and even had someone at a front desk for help and/or anything else.

Communication was horrible. I booked the place at least 2 weeks in advance, and they didn't send me any information regarding the key. I called them multiple times, sent them emails, but no reply. Finally, one day before, on the day I was able to get hold of someone and they stated it's okay, just come and grab it if no one sent you the app information for the key. Our first night, the AC broke, and the people kept saying it would be fixed tomorrow, but it wasn't. The second day, too, they wouldn't give me a confirmation whether the AC would be fixed or not. The apartment had a very poor ventilation system, so the apartment without AC was unbearable. After a very hectic and frustrating day, and speaking with the manager several times, they finally told me that the AC won't be fixed until another day. I asked to speak with the owner, and after many back and forth with the manager, reassuring the owner would contact me, I was finally able to obtain the owner's number. After finally speaking to him, he refused to accommodate me in another apartment and told me I had two options: one to wait till tomorrow or he get me refund and I can find another place. Overall, it was just a very horrible experience. The apartment was new and very nice, but the management and communication were horrible.

We spent first 4 of 5 nights without reliable hot water service in the unit. No qualified front desk service. You pick up key at an adjacent arcade from staff who have no knowledge of the hotel operation. Remote property management failed to send any qualified maintenance person in spite of numerous calls. Very frustrating, not pleasant experience inspite of the newness and cleanliness of the unit. Facility has potential , but needs on site staff available who can efficiently deal with guest needs. At present not worth considering for future stays in this area.

Do not stay here. Its a commercial unit thats been converted into "hotels" at the back of an apartment building near a Circle K- where you'll pick up your a key from an attendant if the "play store" next door is closed. This attendant will give you no instructions on how to get to your room, so you'll call a manager who informs you they attempted to charge your card although the expedia booking indicates you'll pay at the property. Once in the room, it is freezing cold (63*) but the furnace is locked. A door at the back of the unit however, is unlocked and leads to a commercial hallway that staff indicated "can't be open from the outside", which was untrue when I tested it. There's no fan in the bathroom, housekeeping, cutlery, or laundry. Oh, and you'll get a text message requesting payment via an etransfer two hours before you should check out. Staff seem confused as to why you need an actual invoice and reciept for reimbursement, and there's no debit machine so you have to provide personal details like your 3 digit code to staff members.

Right after I checked-in I found out the hot water tank is broken and the bed is queen size bed instead of the advertised king sized bed. I immediately contacted the general manager, he couldn't find anyone to come fix the hot water tank and there is no other room, but offered me 50% discount as a compensation for it. It's been two weeks and I still haven't got it. When I called him like four, five times, he would pick up and just say he will approve it but will need Expedia contact him for verbal approval. But for the two weeks I reached out to Expedia, everytime I have Expedia customer agent on the line to call him, he never picked up the phone. I tried at least seven times to co tact Expedia and even more times for Expedia to call him and not answered. If you booking a stay here, you better hope everything is all working because there is no front desk or service at all. So good luck to anyone who wants to book a stay.

This is a great concept. Units are nicely decorated and clean. However, the check in & communication system is terrible. The communication from the property after booking was completely inaccurate. We were asked to send our ID by email, but don't even know if anyone received it or how it was being used. This is a security concern for us. The booking response email from the property could have made it much easier for us to check in if it was clear and accurate. Our room was the one right next to the arcade, so some noise and vibrations come through the wall (does end at 10pm though). We had some people walking around outside our door, taking selfies which made us a little uneasy - is there security on site?? No one answered the phone when we called the property. The one person we finally found in the arcade was very helpful but overwhelmed and busy with arcade business. The heat in our room didn't work (thermostat is locked with a key), so we spent the night at 15 degree celsius - FREEZING. We didn't feel there was anyone we could call to help us out. This place could be great with some easy communication improvements.

Overall, it was a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the check-in location was a bit difficult to find — I had to call the staff to get the exact directions.

This accommodation was labelled apartment hotel and am not sure I understand it. There is not reception. We had to get key from circle k from the paper posted on the door and then was redirected back to the gaming centre. They gave us keys and pointed to the apartments. We searched and finally found the door at the back of the building.

This is a great location if you are visiting Toronto Zoo and need an overnight stay Clean - and excellent location
