Motel 6-Nashville, TN - Airport

This is probably the nicest Motel 6 we have stayed at. Its clean, somewhat updated and the staff is very courteous and helpful. We typically stay here when traveling through Nashville with our dogs.

Easy parking. Convenient to airport.

Staff were friendly and polite. The two nights I was there were very quiet. I like that they had laundry facilities available. The Waffle House right next door was convenient, and had a very friendly staff. The woman who cooked my breakfast had been working for them since 1977. The only minor complaint I had was that the mini fridge was a little noisy. It was not loud enough to keep me awake, so not really an issue. It was conveniently located near the airport, but not too far from attractions I visited while in town. I would stay there again.

Room was okay. Some broken fixtures that did work. Hand towel had a stain and tear. Pool was closed.

My son was disappointed that the pool was closed but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay at this location.

The parking area was fine. I was able to park in a spot where I could see my car from my room every night. I did not use the laundry facilities so I can’t comment on it. Staff was friendly but no super helpful when I was trying to extend my stay for an extra night since I had booked thru a 3rd party.

It was good. Can’t complain. Room was fairly clean. Staff was very courteous. I’d stay here again. Pet friendly. The deposit for the dogs wasn’t bad at all.

How can Motel 6 let their properties fall into such disrepair? What the standards used to be are no longer followed. Dirty linens. Dirty light fixtures, switches, and switch plates. Stains in the tub. Loose toilet. No vent in shower area with obvious mold on the ceiling. Dirty floors. The corners of the rooms are filled with dirt and hair. The outside of the building needs paint and was covered with spider webs. Where are the standards of cleanliness?

Ashes on the bed. Food and bugs on the ground. Didn’t look like the room had even been cleaned.

When we got there the first thing we saw was roaches scattering when we turned the light on. We took pictures and immediately went to the front and checked out. There were holes on the comforter from cigarette burns. Burn marks on the chair. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. I’m so glad we noticed this right away. I wouldn’t want my family sleeping in those conditions.

The room was comfortable for one night. It was so lit up I felt extremely safe traveling alone. Tho the room definitely has flaws. Sheets had stains, the tub had clearly stains if not scrubbed, mold/mildew on the tiles, mismatched paint in bathroom from repairs made, floor was in great condition and appeared clean, sink area was very clean, fridge and microwave had seen better days. Everything worked great too in it. Friendly people all around. But I wouldn’t stay there again because of the stained sheets. Please buy new ones if they no longer can be cleaned. Great for the price tho

Room was not clean. Walk barefoot and have completely dirty black on bottom of feet. Sheets had stains. No heat. Told office at 8am first morning and no one ever fixed it or offered us a different room. Bugs everywhere. People sleeping in cars in parking lot setting car alarms off. Absolutely no water pressure. Phone did not work.

The rooms were not very clean. I saw more than one room, as another person I know was staying there. The floors felt like they had a dirty film on them. There were visible splatters on the edge of the sink and the outside of the fridge that would take only a second to wipe down with proper room cleaning. There was diarrhea in my toilet when I got into my room. Not sure if someone used my bathroom when cleaning or what (the toilet paper was obviously open and used), or if the toilet was backing up something from another room. My faucet sink was not even fully attached. I could not turn the sink on without holding onto the faucet to keep it from coming out of the sink. The area was right off the main road, so I did not feel particularly unsafe. However, a police officer recommended not to stay in that area again, and there were consistently sketchy-looking people walking around. No matter the cost of the hotel, a clean room is the bare minimum expected. I would not stay here again.

I think that was the absolute worse motal i've ever been in. The beds had hair all over the dirty blood stained sheets and pillow. The top cover had holes in it from cigarette burns. The showers water pressure was a trinkle. Nevermind the mold up above on the ceiling while trying to taking that shower. All the towels were damp, then I noticed they had been used before. The room and bathroom were dirty. And yes they had buds. Wish I would had not booked this but I had no choise because we had to get rest to safely continue our journey. Just a complete disgrace!

The hotel was EXTREMELY gross, my sheets had dried blood, cigarette burns on the comforter and pillow cases, the front desk only gave us a sheet and comforter and told us to change the sheets!! Also, a long with the toilet seat and floor in the bathroom. The phone for the room wouldn't work, their wasn't even a plug in for the phone. The wifi was so weak, we just used our phones data. This hotel was EXTREMELY nasty!! I will be calling hotels.com over this stay and the non existent of cleanliness they have for their property is beyond disgusting and very disappointing!

I could not even stay there because when I walked in the room, there was roaches crawling at the wall, and I was not able to get a refund yet although I have asked, and I still don’t have a clear answer as to whether or not I’ll be refunded for a filthy roach motel booking

Very clean and quiet

The hotel and amenities were very good for the price. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Everything is newly renovated and looks very nice. The only negative things I can say or that there was no hot water and the reception on the TV was a bit fuzzy. Other than that, everything was great.

TV kinda sucked, fridge made a knocking noice so we had to unplug it, a/c was very loud, had no toiletries or coffee maker but bed was comfortable

Noise is a serious problem. Walls are thin. Since this is under the glide path of Nashville International this is bad. Also, neighbors came in a 2:00 AN and partied until 4:00. Curtains did not close completely, letting in light. Shortage of outlets. Only one light in main room - with switch at door. Overall, a horrible experience.

Some outlets only worked when a light switch was on. No hangers/closet...2 pegs to hold clothes. Under sink, fridge and microwave plugged into an outlet that was falling out of the wall. Tub drained very slowly, and you stood in soapy water at end of shower. Bed was comfy, pillows awful. BUT---THE HOUSEKEEPING WAS GREAT. I stayed 5 nights and every day I had clean towels, new soap and tĥe floor was mopped. It was better housekeeping than some big hotels.

Very slow in checking in had a cockroach visitor in the bathroom does not have a coffee pot in the room has a light over the mirror that you can’t completely turn off no outlets to plug in your phone close to the bed no lamps close to the bed TV reception is really bad. Picture screen will freeze then you will get a loud pop. Picture will go black. This is continual on all channels.

The wiring was bad. In order to charge my electronics overnight, I had to keep the light on. Other than that. It was an okay unit for the price. It’s a little run down on the outside but it looks like they are trying to improve it.

Easy Check in, Clean room, comfortable bed, only complaint is the hot water wasn't working in the morning.

The front desk clerk who I am assuming the owner gave me a hard time checking in b/cwe had 3 dogs. I booked on the hotels.com app while driving at 11;00 PM which did not ask the # of pets or if any were service animals. When I was checking in, the clerk asked how many pets being as tired as I was I answered 3 without even thinking to mention 2 were service dogs. The clerk immediatley jumped my case and told me there was a 2 pet limit and we could not stay. I told him to give me my monry back then and he said he could not do that because I did not cancel within 24 hours. I told him Im not cancelling he wont let us stay, so he needed to refund my money which he refused to do. I then said then I'll just book an extra room, he then went to the desk closed out all the rooms on the hotels.com app and told me they were sold out which was not the case because at 11 pm they had 7 rooms left and it was now just midnight. Finally my husband got back from the gas station and reminded me this jerk was violating ADA law. He showed the guy his disabled veteran card and the jerk asked to see the dogs' service papers which is against the law for him to do. He finally gave in when my husband reminded him he was violating federal law, however the guests that were checking in after us told us when they saw un unloading in the parking lot that the staff/owners were talking garbage about us in the lobby. Nice way to treat someone who fought for your right to come to this country and run a business

Check in was the worst I've ever experienced in any of my travels for all of my existence. The man at the front desk was very rude to the 2 guests in front of me as well as myself. He was also very slow. I was waiting for almost 40 minutes. Every question I asked he had a smart-ass response. I loved the hotel though. It was very clean and very quiet. Kitchenette's in the room but are not stocked with ANYTHING. Breakfast was a joke. Coffee was out and there's only granola bars.

Staff was very rude and tried to keep our damage deposit despite no damage being done to the room.

They canceled my room, and I was never able to stay there, all because I helped some people translate from Spanish to English for the receptionist. The receptionist canceled the room, and I couldn't stay. It was disrespectful, especially since someone who wasn't even from the hotel or security tried to kick us out. The security cameras are there; they can check the footage.

Arrived to check in at 10 pm and told the room i reserved at 7 pm was not available. I had to check in while standing outside a window. When i went to pay by credit card i was asked for my PIN. I said to pass me the machine and was told it didn't reach. Again asked for my PIN. I said i wasn't giving it. I was told i could pay cash then. I said no. Only after all that was the door unlocked so i could come inside to do my PIN. Had to switch rooms because the lock on the door was broken.

Good location and price for airport connection.

The hotel was a typical Motel 6. There was only soap in the room so I didn't shower (I just needed a place to sleep before my flight in the morning) and the sink faucet was close to falling off. The person at the front desk was friendly. I was on the 3rd floor. The room was fine but definitely no frills--just a bed, bathroom, and TV. It was fine to sleep in and it was close to the airport.

It's a very no frills hotel next to a Waffle House. It's about a 10 min cab ride from this hotel to the airport and about a 15 min cab ride to downtown.

Room was clean. We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping came daily. Had no hairdryer. And our toilet the first night didnt flush well but housekeeper took care of it while we were gone. I dont think we'd stay with our kids but would stay here again. Good location off the interstate with a waffle house next door and a couple restaurants across the street as well as gas stations.

It says newly renovated. Must’ve been by Ray Charles cause it’s very shoddily done. Area this place is in is pretty sketchy. Bad lighting in parking lot and lots of weird people about. I would super not recommend this place from a safety perspective. Bed and shower were good enough. Single entry outside doors also added to feeling of insecurity. I almost considered leaving and going elsewhere, even after a 16 hour drive.

Nice and affordable motel on the outskirts of Nashville. Doesn’t offer a continental or free breakfast but there is a Waffle House that’s right by the property. It was very clean for a “cheap “ motel and the beds were really comfortable!!! I would recommend this motel for a quick stay. We only stayed there one night!!

It was sufficient for one night stay to catch an early flight the next morning. Although I would find a better place next time, the location was good for the airport, but there were dead bugs in the bathroom no hairdryer or coffee pot, but there was a refrigerator and microwave absolutely no storage for your clothes if you were there for a longer time.
