Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Cordele

A random choice when I pulled over to get some sleep. A dead end street next to the property allowed me to park my truck and U-Haul trailer. Everything was clean and neat.

Parking was safe and easy. The interior room was certainly dated and worn. Time for a remodel, although the room was very clean.

Elevator not working on day of check out ( 12/29/2024) My wife had just had back surgery prior

No trolly/cart was available on arrival; when asked staff, the staff answered like they didn't care. The room had spring mattresses, which were very uncomfortable. The room was pretty old. The most unexpected thing was, there was no breakfast available. The staff said they did not get delivery and offered whatever was left over. Overall, I did not expect this from Marriott.

Nice hotel with an indoor pool for swimming year round. The hotel appears original and dated a little although well kept.

Very average room. Paid a little more for pool and hot tub but hot tub broken and pool closed. They should tell you at check in so you could go else where

I was told before booking the room that there was a heated pool, the only reason for booking. When I got there, No heated pool and they said it was heated. My granddaughter froze in the water!!

The whirlpool that is visible in the online photos has been covered with concrete. I was disappointed.

Yes nice breakfast and parking was easy and close to front door.

Ghastly. This place is old and desperately in need of a renovation. The ac unit in my room was loud and smelled like cheese. All furniture has scuff marks and badly worn corners.

The staff was friendly and gave great customer service. However, the overall room was not clean, and TV or remote didn't work properly. Felt more like a Motel 6, low budget place. I wouldn't stay again. Not what I'm use to from a Marriott.

Very nice and clean

I’ve stayed at Fairfield before and they were quite nice. This one was very disappointing. The room was had very old furnishings and a wall unit that never stopped running. The room smelled of mildew- it was bad. It’s hard to believe they are associated with Marriot. It was not worth the money spent.

Staff was rude and the place was so filthy. Will never be back when we travel through.

Our room had a soaking wet carpet right next to one of the beds and we were told “Well that happens in the handicap rooms”. The room smelled terrible. Probably the mold growing up the corner of the wall where the soaking carpet was. The bathrooms near the entrance were filthy and had a disable air fresher or fire alarm that kept beeping. The overall bathroom in the room was also very junky. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We are still awaiting our refund because that stay was NOT worth $215!!!

Nice room and lobby, that's all we used. Staff was great. One thing though, or room was 313 and it sounded liked the train came through 312. It wasn't all night so no biggie. I'd stay here again.

Close to train track with multiple trains passing and blowing horns in the night.

Our first room had a broken A/C, but Fairfield attempted a quick attempt at fixing and then switched our room. We also did not have our room cleaned the first day of the first. We thought the breakfast was particularly good with different foods each day.

The hotel was wonderful however there is a train track directly behind it and four trains went by during the night. Horn blowing and all. I will check train locations for future hotel stays.

Terrible train noise tracks less the .5 miles away from hotel property. All night long. Certain staff member very unhappy he told no dogs allowed, I have a certified service dog . I’m a Veteran and to not appreciate the conversation he advised me on. Will not stay at location again, or Fairfield Inn Motel

We stayed here last night. The price was average as hotel prices have sky rocketed. Beds need updating pillows were terribly uncomfortable. Clean and convenient just off I75 near dining and amenities.

This was a rough trip. Room was really rough. Unstable internet

The room HAVC did not heat. The temperature was in the thirty's The TV was on the small size maybe a 40 " and several stations would turn on and off. We got in late round 11:00 and went right to bed so it wasn't terrible but they should work.

Location is convenient to I-75, but the rooms at the rear side are close to freight train noise. The main entrance had steps from the parking lot - not convenient when bringing in luggage

We drove eight hours and got there at 4.00pm. Luckily I had a copy of my reservation which I made through Expedia. The Desk clerk could NOT pull up our reservation. There were 4 guest on the line, she checked them into the room according to the reservation on their phone. Well, the next step was to call EXPEDIA, she was not able to get at least 2 people to help. She called back to Expedia for Wayne to speak with the representative, he was DISCONNECTED two times. The clerk called back from the Hotel and had two different customer service, sadly after 6 different calls, we were still standing in the Lobby of the Marriott. WE WERE IN THE LOBBY FOR ALMOST TWO HOURS, until finally, the clerk was able to pull up a previous reservation and checked us in 6.00 pm. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. Your customer service DID NOT UNDERSTAND that the Marriott needed Expedia to send over the reservation to the Marriott. Someone told her to check us in as a walk-in. This would make us pay the higher price and I HAD A CONFIRMED RESERVATION WHICH WAS PAID.

The front desk person was excellent, Theresa Hunt was very helpful and attentive!

Very nice staff. Nice relaxing stay during a business trip.

When we visit the area, we always stay here and love it. From the front desk until you leave from your stay everyone is very nice and helpful always.

Chassidy was an outstanding Marriott associate who greeted us firsthand and made us feel right at home. She suggested great places for us to eat and offered her assistance in anything that would make our stay excellent. She is a true asset to Marriott!

When we arrived after a 19 hour drive we were informed that the room was not available because the hotel was over booked. This is completely unacceptable because we were given zero notice, even though the room was booked through Travelocity a month ago.

We arrived at hotel at 1:00am after a 9-hour drive with pre-paid reservation. Clerk refused to honor the reservation despite finding us in their system and having a room assigned. The clerk could not complete check-in because she did not know how to issue a room access card and was dealing with internal computer issues. After 40 minutes of fumbling around, and being unable to contact the hotel manager by telephone, she told us all we could do was leave the property. I refused to leave because I felt a solution was available wherein she would open our room with a manager’s key, allow us to sleep, and address their computer issues in the morning when the day manager was on duty. We were polite and extremely patient and respectful until she went into the area behind the desk and phoned the police to have us removed from the hotel. Although unable and seemingly unwilling to assist us she resorted to calling the police because we refused to forfeit our room. The employee seemed overwhelmed and completely unsure of what to do. We were never threatening, yet she involved the police. While waiting for the police she was on her cellphone with another hotel employee and was conversing with that person in a low voice. She was ineffective at communicating with us and resisted a viable solution to the situation. We left without spending the night. We will request a full refund of our room charges, and should be provided an apology from the hotel.

Easy to get to the Hotel from the expressway

This is an older property, but maintained reasonably well. Friendly staff. Convenient location just off I-75 with places to eat nearby.

Your site said we bought a king bed with sofa and we got two queens. Your price was $90 and when we bought it was $119. Many things didn't work. Breakfast was very good.

Its ok if you are only looking to spend the night breakfast was ok but i thought that it was located in the south there would have been some grits and i stayed more than one night and only got offered 1 complimentary bottle of water at the other Marriotts i got offered one every day and nobody checked and see if we needed fresh towels or toilet paperse ran out

Breakfast was supposed to start at 7 AM but was not ready at that time. First morning there were breakfast sandwiches that everyone had to heat up in a microwave. The next morning they were out of juice and food wasn't ready and the person running the breakfast area didn't seem to concerned. We ended up eating at a local restaurant.

No shampoo or kleenex in room and we needed both. Typical motel breakfast.

The front desk clerk was excellent! We’d never smelled and elevator that smells so good going up to our room! It’s not a big deal but we would like to have a choice of pork sausage rather than turkey sausage for breakfast! Other wise great stay!
