Super 8 by Wyndham Breaux Bridge

They have false advertising on there website it shows there’s a nice clean pool but when I arrived it was black and green I even called a head of time to ask them if it was and they told me it was The whole reason why I even got the hotel was so I could bring my little sister swimming, but the fan hit the wall whenever I arrived to see that it wasn’t and when I requested a refund, they did not give it to

I was lied to. Pool WAS NOT OPEN as told to me in a previous call. This was the MAIN reason we wanted to stay there to continue celebrating my granddaughter’s birthday. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Carpet was disgusting, left our feet BLACK. DO NOT STAY THERE. Spend a little more for a much better stay ANYWHERE ELSE. (This is my only negative review of ALL the properties we have stayed in. We have traveled North, South, East and West)

Pool that was advertised was not only close, it’s been so since Dec. Hotel room had multiple, over 15, damaged spots that were poorly fixed. There was no blanket or comforter, only a sheet and throw that had burn holes in it. The bedside light did not work & the toilet paper holder was just placed in a hole in the wall and not attached. You also had to dodge gas station traffic to get to the parking lot. The only bright spot was nice housekeeper who ask when we were leaving and if we needed anything. 0/10 don’t stay here, not worth the 100$ they charged.

Well the pictures on all webpages show an upkept budget motel, but in fact it is extremely run down, unkept and nothing like the pictures. Only booked for the pool, arrive to a pool that apparently is closed for maintenance but honestly this pool has been neglected for sometime and I assume there is no intention to fix otherwise it would of happened when the pool is closed during those mentioned months not when it’s advertised as open. The rooms are a great size, but when opening the door you get hit in the face by this horrendous smell which I think may be the aircon. The rooms are in need of lots of love, worn out carpet, pillows that are oddly shaped n lumpy like a sack of potatoes. The shower/toilet door would not close in the latch therefore whilst going to the loo you had to put your foot to the left to stop it from opening. The towel rails were in poor condition. I was not confident with the breakfast upon asking so gave this a miss to save disappointment. The towels were so small that me being 160cm and 50kg I had to hold it together. All in all if the owners/managers etc were serious about this business/property they would fix the rooms up even if one by one, you don’t have to spend a lot of money to make things nice n presentable. If I’m ever this way again I’d go a bit further on say Lafayette and try my luck there.

This place should be closed. It has apparently not recovered from the last hurricane. The carpet was sticky, the whole room smelled horribly of mold, and all the furniture and electrical fixtures were in poor repair. I should have known by the blue tarps on the roof, and the surprise on the desk clerks face when someone actually walked in.

This hotel needs MAJOR renovations. Rooms were awful. Cigarette burns in bedspreads. We reserved 2 rooms they both were bad! We didn’t stay had to find other lodging it was that bad. Owner did refund our money so that was a plus!

The floors were dirty, somebody had spilt a drink on the night stand n wall n it was still sticky. The bathroom floors were just nasty. I took a rag and wiped it in the bathroom floor n it turned it black. The desk clerk was friendly n nice but the cleaning staff needs to be instructed on how to clean the rooms.

Liked the price but I hope to never stay at a super 8 again. I had no control over the ac or heater pressure or temp. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels/motels and this was second from the worst. It looks good on the outside but bad on the inside. The bed was comfy and the office chair was good but thats it

Room was dirty bathtub was dirty and they even left a wash rag hanging in the restroom

This property is in need of a complete refitting / renovation. Our room the mildew odor was so strong we had to buy a spray disinfectant at Walmarts , spray the complete room leave door open for 15 minutes in hopes of improving air quality. Walls where dirty and smeared with what look like black grease from a mechanics garage. Toilet was loose and not properly anchored to floor. Bathtub spigot came off when trying to lift the shower pin . Expedia should do a better job scrutinizing the properties they showcase and recommend. This property should get a -2 stars .

It wasn't dirty to the point of walking in & saying nah I'm no staying here, but not much above that. We did see a couple dead roaches. I wouldn't stay there again.

Old rooms..handles broken on furniture..receptacle broken..coffee pot had wrong pod holder...sugar and creamer packs had no stirrer..not enough towels first day...housekeeping open door without knocking...no sheer curtains so could not open drapes cuz no privacy...no Kleenex..no free breakfast as advertised...

We stayed here because it was close to the festival and we wouldn’t have to drive a long distance afterwards, never again we checked in and they overpriced this place we ended up pausing $160 the room was dirty a wet nasty bath towel in the tub, the floor carpet was wet, all light fixtures are rusted, we called front office someone came looked at it, after husband got ugly with them couldn’t give us another room because they didn’t have one but there was only 8 cars in parking lot the maintenance guy came and run a rig doctor over carpet to dry it still didn’t work, would not give us an refund, very rude about it will not be staying here again will drive further next time, always read review they are telling the truth

We arrived late, the first set of keys didn't work and door knob was partially broken. Asked for a different room but was denied, after fiddling with the lock got it open. We asked for non smoking room since we have kids, room reeked of smoke, there were nail clippings on the floor, not all the light worked. Heater would shut off every 15 minutes. Bedding was very thin and due to the cold slept in our clothes. No internal chain on door, paper thin walls, looked unkept. But were tired from traveling all day.

I have stayed in many good and bad hotels/motels in my 41 years on earth. This by far was the most terrible motel I've ever been to. Upon check-in around 8pm, we knew it was a budget friendly place and did not expect 5 star, but this was not even bare minimum. When we checked in we placed our bags in the room quickly and begin our evening off events between 2 towns. We arrived back at 2am where we first noticed the ridiculousness of a place they call a motel. The room had an obvious smell of mildew and mold. Room had what appeared to be mold on ceilings and a bed that was obviously not changed after last guest. You could not plug in cell phone chargers as they would just fall out. The vanity in the sink area was cracked and was sharp and would catch clothing, not safe. The restroom had 1 3/4 roll of toilet paper, no extra, obvious water damage to ceiling peeling paint and mildew. Behind the toilet paper roll was a burnt out Marijuana joint and very obvious what it was. Mind you a non smoking room. After seeing all this we packed right up and left that s#$$ hole and drive 2.5 hrs home tired and in heavy rain. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RESERVE A ROOM HETE AND IF YOU HAVE CANCEL ASAP!! TRUST ME IS RIDICULOUSNESS!!! The app will not let me add the pics I took, but we have them..

Would not recommend anyone to stay here. While the service was not bad, the room was awful. *It smelled of mildew and was very worn. *The carpet was very aged and ragged in places. *Baseboards were coming apart from the walls. *Many of the electrical outlets were inoperable and would also not hold a plug in them. My cpap machine plug kept falling out of the outlet. *The fridge was beat up something awful The only thing that could improve this hotel would be for it to be razed to the ground and rebuilt.

Very friendly and helpful service when checking in or out. But condition of the hotel is pretty bad. Housekeeping friendly and did the best they could despite the condition of the room, furniture, etc

The hotel staff were all very nice. The location is convient to many points of interest.

They advertise breakfast but it is just juice and coffee. The sheets make you itchy and the bed is uncomfortable so we did not get sleep. The staff was rude during every encounter. All wall electric outlets are outdated, some wouldnt hold plugs or chargers. The carpet staples stabbed me in my foot.
