Fantastic night away. We had a great stay for our anniversary. Amazing location. Quiet, Very close to the water, shops, blow hole, and lots of coffee shops. Comfortable rooms and great gym. Super duper friendly staff!! The young lady who checked us in (I think Chloe? Sorry if I got your name wrong ...) was very efficient, super friendly and welcoming and helpful. Would totally recommend.

We have enjoyed visiting the area a number over the years and treated ourselves at short notice to a stay at the Sebel for the first time The hotel meets the standard you would expect as a premium hotel and we generally enjoyed our stay. The room was generous in size, spotlessly clean, well equipped, serviced efficiently daily and overall very comfortable . Parking was easy to come and go with three underground levels and a dedicated lift to the car park. All this comes at a cost and and should we stay again we would probably avoid the weekend when nightly room rates double! Just supply and demand really with the hotel seemingly enjoying high occupancy during our stay. The one thing we found a little strange was the hotel seemed lacking in character being located in an area of so much natural beauty. Some local art works in the room and the public areas generally would have made a big difference. Small thing really we guess and no doubt why ocean view rooms popular. Our balcony faced the gardens/street and was fine but close the curtains and you could be in any hotel room anywhere in the world

We had a balcony room which was rather noisy with a function next door which meant we could not open windows to allow fresh air in on what was the hottest day of spring. The breakfast was good and the view was terrific. The underground carpark was not secure and we saw non-hotel guests use the carpark for 'public' parking. Not cool.

We stayed 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. We stayed in a family room which was spacious, clean and modern. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant which was lovely - service, food and cocktails were all great. The location was perfect to walk around the town for going out for coffee and lunch and an easy walk up to the blow hole. The best part of all was when checking in, the concierge named Javier overheard my husband and I talking about how it was my 40th bday that day and where we would go for dinner to celebrate. Within 20mins of getting to our room, someone from the hotel arrived at our door with an ice bucket with a bottle of champagne, 2 champagne glasses and a card wishing me a happy birthday. Absolutely made my day and kicked off an amazing start to my birthday weekend getaway. Will absolutely come back again.

Came here for a solo overnight trip so I could catch the sunrise near the Kiama Blowhole and this location does not disappoint. 10min walk from the blowhole along the coastal walk and within 7min walking to shops and eateries. The onsite restaurant does good food for dinner and the cocktails are well mixed and balanced. The room is quite spacious with a comfortable bed and the Foxtel TV with a wide range of channels for the moments you just want to relax. The only thing I will nitpick is that bathroom needed a better clean as there was quite a bit of dust build up but after a quick wipe down and it was all fine. Would definitely be staying here again when I'm visiting Kiama next!

Room was very large and clean. Convenient location to access the main areas in Kiama. We only stayed one night as we were going to a wedding but access was easy and reception is staffed 24/7.

The property is vastly overpriced. Dishes and cutlery in the room not properly washed, no coffee maker provided . It didn’t even have a safe. Lighting in the room is bright, cannot be scaled down to cosy. Windows cannot be opened. The door to the adjoining room was not locked. All in all a disappointing stay for a high price

Nice, quiet hotel (except if your room is near housekeeping, then they will talk loudly outside your room starting at 8 am). Was less luxurious than I expected. Shower had hair in it when I arrived, but overall a nice, decent place for a quiet beach town.

This hotel ticked all the boxes for me. Its a beautifully situated little wuaint hotel. It offers a comfortable and cosy accommodation. The staff are lovely and my room level and view was really appreciated. The only tiny detail, was my room was opposite the lift and a little noisy at times. But that did not take away from any enjoyment.

We were greeted by Annika on arrival and she gave us a warm welcome and made it possible for us to have an early check in after a long international flight. She gave us lots of valuable information about the hotel and the beautiful town of Kiama. We loved everything about this hotel. Friendly smiling staff; bright and sunny reception area; clean rooms with a comfy bed and a very good location for walking to the town. We ate breakfast there only once - it was 15 minutes from closing so the hot food was not the best. We are sure it was fine if you arrived earlier. Had great breakfast each other day at The Hungry Monkey, just around the corner. A perfect visit for a wedding and many happy memories created here.

Friendly smiling staff; bright and sunny reception area; clean rooms with a comfy bed and a very good location for walking to the town. We ate breakfast there only once - it was 15 minutes from closing so the hot food was not the best. We are sure it was fine if you arrived earlier. Had great breakfast each other day at The Hungry Monkey, just around the corner. A perfect visit for a wedding and many happy memories created here.

The location of The Sebel Hotel in charming coastal Kiama is convenient to the waterfront, to the Blowhole, the Rocks swimming pool, to shops, restaurants, bars, and to the local residential neighborhoods that climb the surrounding hills. The hotel features upscale modern design with Scandinavian influence to provide a calming sanctuary during our stay. Luggage carts were available and the second elevator that opens to the parking garage allowed for luggage carts to go directly to the room without going through the lobby. The Reception attendant was friendly, helpful, annd professional. She provided restaurant recommendations, of which we chose a delicious option: Hanoi on Manning. Finishes within the public areas and the room were premium and aligned with the overall design theme for the hotel to support a bespoke, restful, and enjoyable stay!

Great place to stay! Most things are walkable or just a short drive away. The breakfast for the small fee was so worth it. Rooms were comfortable and we had a nice view of the water. Chloe did our check in, and we told her we were doing a coastal drive from Sydney to Melbourne, and she gave us so many recommendations that we didn’t have on our list & they ended up being the best part of our drive so thank you again Chloe!

Came here for a solo overnight trip so I could catch the sunrise near the Kiama Blowhole and this location does not disappoint. 10min walk from the blowhole along the coastal walk and within 7min walking to shops and eateries. The onsite restaurant does good food for dinner and the cocktails are well mixed and balanced. The room is quite spacious with a comfortable bed and the Foxtel TV with a wide range of channels for the moments you just want to relax. The only thing I will nitpick is that bathroom needed a better clean as there was quite a bit of dust build up but after a quick wipe down and it was all fine. Would definitely be staying here again when I'm visiting Kiama next!

We stayed 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys. We stayed in a family room which was spacious, clean and modern. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant which was lovely - service, food and cocktails were all great. The location was perfect to walk around the town for going out for coffee and lunch and an easy walk up to the blow hole. The best part of all was when checking in, the concierge named Javier overheard my husband and I talking about how it was my 40th bday that day and where we would go for dinner to celebrate. Within 20mins of getting to our room, someone from the hotel arrived at our door with an ice bucket with a bottle of champagne, 2 champagne glasses and a card wishing me a happy birthday. Absolutely made my day and kicked off an amazing start to my birthday weekend getaway. Will absolutely come back again.

The Sebel was very good, ample underground parking, check in was easy and informative. Room was larger then expected very neat and tidy with adequate kitchenette breakfast was great not a big variety but the basics done well. Walking distance to everything in the town felt safe when out and about. Check out was just as easy. Great little get away.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rooms themselves are quite dated, which was a little disappointing given the price point of $450+ per night. Our room was located directly above a wedding reception, and the noise was very loud until after 11pm. I think rooms on that side of the property would be better allocated to wedding guests, as it would likely have less impact on their stay. There was also limited parking available, so we had to park down the street, and we found an opened leftover milk carton in the fridge upon arrival. To their credit, the staff were fantastic and kindly removed our in-room dining charges from the bill. Their friendliness and service were definitely the highlight of our stay
