Lotus of Lompoc - A Great Hospitality Inn

Room was as small as a closet, beds were so worn out, you would sink in them. Associate at desk never said anything but an “It’s an extra $25.00 for a room with 2 double beds” No Ice. I would NOT RECOMMEND….

Room was clean and quiet. Lots of parking available. Good value room. I wouldn't mind staying there again!

Good for the price! Well cleaned and overall did the job needed for a night stay during a road trip. Though the room itself was clean, there was an underlying smell of smoke in the room indicated as non smoking - since the hotel itself is pretty old and fairly outdated I’m sure there was a history of no “non-smoking” policies at some point and the carpets etc probably just absorb the scent. Saw a little bug near the bed but NOT bed bugs - it was a first floor room and expected for that level when it has this motel-type layout. Safe area, there is a circle K right next to it, which for us didn’t have any impact on the types of people near the hotel - there is a chain fence between the gas station and hotel property line so it makes a clear distinction. Also, when you check in the front desk has clear camera angles on virtually every angle of the parking lot as it wraps around the entire property which provides a little extra comfort that everything is being monitored. Overall, would stay here again if I’m caught in the same area and just need a bed to sleep in.

Picnic area advertised nd it does not exist. Parking is ample but unkept. Me hanic work on premises etc

My review is mostly because of the service and the price. The hotel looks pretty beat up on the outside and the pool is out of order, (looks like the pool from next friday) also the area seemed a bit sketchy. I was looking up directions to a local spot to get some food and a random guy on a bike got off with a hatchet. Turns out I think it's somebody who probably lives onsite, the hatchet was to cut some wood for a fire he was making. A bit startling though as it was 9 pm and dark out. The room was clean, beds were decent, hot water was great, mini fridge and microwave a plus, nobody broke into my truck. Overall I would stay here again but if youre expecting luxury, do not come here. For a cozy place to sleep for a very affordable price, I highly recommend.

Staff wasn't very helpful. Bed was like sleeping on box springs. Ants invaded my drink on the night stand in the middle of the night. No ice machine on site. Over all dissatisfied with my stay. I will not stay there ever again. Not even worth the value.

The only 2 issues we had were: The motel has no ice machine. The other issue was the guest next door to our room, spoke loudly after midnight for several hours. Not directly the fault of the motel, but still very frustrating. Otherwise, the place was quiet, clean, comfortable, & conveniently near the highway

Room was comfortable, hotel is quiet at night, cameras at all areas of the parking lot I had no concerns about my vehicle, belongings or personal safety.

Das war der einzige Grund, weswegen wir die Unterkunft spontan auf diese umgebucht haben...Immerhin ein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Der Teppich im Zimmer war dreckig. Voller Krümel vermutlich vom Vormieter. Dass eine indische Großfamilie neben uns wohnte und bis nachts laut war, gut, dafür kann der Vermieter nichts. Hätte uns vielleicht ein anderes Zimmer geben können, da das Motel nicht ausgebucht war. Wir haben es so hingenommen, da wir nur eine Übernachtung gebucht haben.

This property didn’t look like the pictures at all. It had mold in the shower and the floor was not clean. The bedding was dirty and had stains all over.

The hotel is well kept up and the room, although a tad tight, is well kept and clean. I would definitely stay there again..

Room dirty and smelled like mold moldew. Staff was rude and discriminated. Don’t go here. It’s a lot of immigrants that is running form ice living there. And they live and eat off our deposit and charge you for minor things I hate this hotel now n days they are ripping me off the people off

This motel was not suitable at all. The whole vibe of the place was off as soon as we parked our car. Sketchy people all over and pretty sure we witnessed a drug deal happening. Walking past the drained pool to the office, I waited a few minutes before anyone showed up at the front desk. When a gentleman finally came out, he seemed pleasant enough and gave me the key. When we entered the room, there was a horrendous stench that hit us in the face. The room was cramped and did not feel clean. The comforter on the bed was old and had holes. My son immediately pointed out a giant hole in the wall next to one of the beds that lead us to wonder what may crawl out during the night. Me, my wife, my son, and my elderly mother all agreed this place just would not do. We did not feel comfortable at all nor did we feel safe being there. We packed everything up and started to leave. Since I didn’t know how long it would be until we found another hotel I thought I would at least use the restroom. Let’s just say someone before us had left a little something behind and I found it. I didn’t even bother with the restroom. I took the key back to the front desk and told the gentleman we were not happy with the room and would be leaving. He just said, “ok,” and went back about his business. No question about the issue, as if he already knew why we were leaving. The photos you see on Hotels.com are not what you get at the property. Don’t believe any 10/10 review. It felt like a bait and switch.

It was so nice to check into a budget friendly motel and know immediately that the room was clean, and newly renovated well. The staff is lovely, there is a recycling bin in the room, the bedding was immaculate, the bathroom new and spotless. I would definitely stay here again.

Minimum amenities. One soap and one small (shampoo &condition in one) Good to have fridge, microwave and iron. Room is clean.

This was my least favorite of all my hotel experiences. The bed was like sleeping on cardboard. There were no outlets anywhere near the bed. Had to plug phone in the bathroom. They had little tiny bars of soap that would not even set up. It was like trying to wash your hands with wax. There was not even a soap dish to put it in. The towels were very small and thin. Someone lit a fire outside behind the hotel, for what reason I don’t know. The smoke came into the room because there was no real seal around the door. At first, I thought possibly the room was on fire. This happened right when I was about ready to fall asleep. The shower was tiny with a shower curtain that you could not avoid hitting your body while showering. The chairs were old and thread bare.

If you want a quiet room don't stay on the garage side as the traffic is really loud. The hotel also says breakfast is included but there is no breakfast as they stopped doing it after COVID. The bed was quite old and creaked every time we sat on it or rolled over. The water in the shower was also quite cold. The location is ok as you can walk to the town which was nice. The man on reception was nice but I'm not sure we would stay again.

I’ve stayed here before. As always, the room was clean and ready for me. The check in process here is quick and easy. Room was conveniently located. Only issue was sometimes the WiFi was not working well.

The staff are so nice! Air conditioner is noisy but works really well. The property is not much to look at from the outside as far as being fancy or not, although the lights make it look festive. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds and pillows are perfect. I’ve stayed here many times. It’s great for adults traveling without small children. The walls are a little thin and there’s a lot of noise from the gas station next door, so I always request a room at the back of the property.

holes in the first room, I was given, in the tile floor by the toilet and shower. This would’ve hurt my feet and potentially caused an injury. And the hairdryer did not have any settings and the control was broken and to turn on and off one would simply need to plug in the hairdryer to the wall. Which could be dangerous if someone is having wet hands or hair that accidentally gets triggered when trying to plug it in. In the second room, there were no outlets to charge my phone except in the bathroom and in the far corner under the clothing rack. So no way to use computer or phone if needing a charge in the bedroom/table area.

Fine as just a bed for the night. Room was very noisy, air conditioner kept turning on and off all night and was very loud. Bed was uncomfortable.

Not exactly deluxe accommodations, but everything you need and most importantly easy access to the highway to the east of Lompoc. Room was clean but could benefit from some maintenance. The nice granite shower and sink counter seem to be withstanding the test of time best of all the items in the room. Wifi was the biggest problem - very unreliable and it wouldn't surprise me if that's because it's being pirated by everyone in the area.

Honestly for the price it was exactly what I'd expect but the bed was basically like sleeping in a hole. With new mattresses it would be perfect.

Came to Lompoc for the flowers so there was no need for a fancy room. But this room was clean and perfect for passing through. One odd thing though, when checking in there is a side window that you ring the bell for. The window door opened and a man took my card and i.d. He disappeared and then came back with room keys and receipts. Nothing dishonest. Just odd.

3 mins from work Clean and great hospitality Jacob the property mgr was very nice and he make sure your stay is comfortable.

The receptionist was very helpful and professional. Our room had no lights so she was moved us to another room. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Overall it was great experience.

The guy at the front counter receiving guests is named JACOB, if thats his real name. He LIES A LOT. He hung up on me when i called the second time. He blocked my Google review from showing on the internet more on this crook.

Awful the staff was acting like we were riff raff when we checked in and made sure we put a hundred dollar deposit down in case we steal their “towels”

I was visiting family. The hotel was easy to check into, the room was ready, and everything I might need was available. Due to the fog we could hear but not see the space x launch but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

Susie at the front was really helpful and the manager worked hard to get us a good hotel rate. Overall it was a great stay, a little funky but good!

Hotel was inexpensive, neat and seemed to be clean for what it was. It is old and worn out with very small rooms. It is located near two major roads and next to a gas station with convenience store, so it is very very noisy at night. Homeless people wandering around late at night. TV did not work and shower was uncomfortably small. Hotel needs a major renovation. Plastic bed cover made the bed feel gross. Bed squeaked (more noise) when moving around on it. Thin, hard pillows were uncomfortable. Soap was waxy and sticky (gross). No shampoo provided. I don't recommend this hotel and will not stay there again.

The room was clean and staff very curteous. The great hospitality Inn should be deleted as they don't even have a breakfast.

No real review, Place was run down' staff was friendly but of minimum help. No Continental Breakfast.

There is good food to eat around there.

Was going to make coffee, and the coffee maker had used grounds in it. Not sure when the last time was someone actually cleaned it, so I did not use.

Expedia shows free breakfast, so we didn't bring any. WRONG - they said that no breakfast for years.

Room was kept clean. Walls are thin, though expected at price point. No breakfast or fitness, though has a Circle K market next door, and Beatie Park is nice for an incline walk.
