Great location and pool and hot tub were terrific. The lighting in the bathroom could be improved. It was not as bright as it could be. Also, the shower head seemed old and could be replaced with a more modern version.

Our home is not large enough to house all our family when we have a celebration. The AmericInn is close by, it has an exercise room, a pool, a hot tub, good rooms, and offers a breakfast. It’s a great way to accommodate our big family when they come up to Iron Mountain to visit.

The staff were all great and very polite, but the room had a lot of defects... broken sink faucet, the shower was cold and would get very hot, then cold again and couldn't keep a steady temperature, the toilet did not flush well, and the room smelled like old cigarette smoke. The pool/hot tub area is very small.

Check was easy, staff were friendly, the pool and hot tub area was nice. The breakfast wasn’t the best as far as choices but it was free so can’t complain. We needed a place for the weekend while on a family ski trip. would stay here again.

Our stay overall was very good. The chemicals in the pool were very intense and hard to endure for long periods of time, but the pool was very clean and the pool area was very nice. Continental breakfast had a very good variety of items waffle Maker was nice touch and having different entree items for breakfast each day was also very nice to give it more variety. Only having an ice Maker on one floor was a little inconvenient especially when it was on the 1st floor and our room was on the 3rd floor but that wasn't overall negative point.

We came up for a night away from the kids to spend quality time together. Love the fact that the pool closes to kids at 9 and stays open for adults until 11. The room was spacious and there's plenty of options for dinner within walking distance or just a short drive. The front desk gal was very nice and even suggested a few sports bars we could check out. Room was clean, bed was comfy, the pillows were even nice and I usually hate pillows at hotels. (And I forgot mine!!) Breakfast was included, your traditional continental choices, eggs, protein, waffles, fruit, breads and pastries. Very nice hotel. Not noisy. Will definitely stay again.

Front desk associate recommended great restaurant for a date night. Check in was a breeze, we got a newly remodeled room, it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Only tick was the fan in the bathroom was filthy.

We arrived en route to a vacation destination further north. I’m sure I could try to come up with a positive for this place but I’m not going to because we spent about 2 hours trying to clean vomit out of our bathroom sink. It had been left from the prior customers. Avoid at all costs.

The room was kinda dirty. Dust built up on headboard of the bed and soap in the bottom of the shower which made it very slippery. There also was no couch. Not much of a selection for breakfast.

The stay was for our daughter, her friend, and our grandson. Our home was already full of guests so we put them in the Americinn. The room had 2 queens and one sofa bed. Grandson age 14 ended up on the sofa bed, which are never very comfortable for full size people. However, everyone else was comfortable and happy with no complaints. (The room was advertized as “sleeps 7” which is a bit of an exaggeration unless the people are pint size.)

The staff here is the best we have encountered! They are incredibly helpful, courteous, and friendly; always! They make this place. The rooms are nice and clean and with the renovations minimalistic, which is soothing. The new lamps with USB ports are awesome. However, they now have blinds on the windows and removed the curtains which is fine if you are not on the first floor. There are two options for the blinds;up and down and if you wish for some light in you room then there is no privacy whatsoever If on first floor. Also these blinds do not cover the entire width of the window so if you like a dark room for sleeping, light will enter on the sides and there is no way to block that out. Also the heater in our room cycled from a nice warm temp to very cool air no matter what temp we set it at or what speed. That made the room somewhat uncomfortable as just as you are enjoying the warmth, cool air would then blow out causing a chill. Hopefully these are little glitches that will be worked out as renovations are completed.

The good: Room was gorgeous, spacious, and very clean. Conveniently located near shopping and the grand baby. Tons of outlets, not wanting for a place to charge devices. Full sized fridge in the room was unexpected and outstanding. Kitchenette had utensils and dishes available. Pool very clean. The not so good: Bed was very, very firm, too firm for me. The couch wasnt especially comfortable for me, neither was the dinette chairs. Toilet wouldn't fully flush half the time, and seemed to be using a ton of water. Color was very off with both tvs, not sure if that's a cable service (mostly not HD) issue or a TV hardware issue. Free breakfast was average at best - eggs, one meat, some dry goods, waffles.

You WILL never find better staff anywhere. The hotel was so clean, welcoming, beds comfortable, quiet, and accommodating. It’s like home. Heidi, at front desk, was beyond tremendous! She went out of her way with everything we needed or didn’t even know we needed. She even made reservations for another upcoming stay saving me the hassle of searching and booking online. Quote “ We want everyone to be welcomed, comfortable, and know we appreciate their staying with us”. Well, she certainly did that. That girl is an asset!!!

Overall this was a good experience. But this is a new property and there was an odd smell in the room that seemed like a combination of new carpeting and paint. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and we told them at checkout, but the young man didn't seem that interested in hearing about it. But the rooms were fine and the bed was comfortable and it is a nice place to stay.

The hotel does have nice rooms, and is very quiet. The most annoying issue, which I have experienced all 4 times I have stayed there, is the front desk at check-in. There were computer issues multiple times, and the staff was slow, with no sense of urgency. The check-in process needs to streamlined so that it is much quicker, perhaps with room keys and check-in papers already set up for those with reservations. I think that the computers need to be upgraded with new hardware and software, and the staff trained better on how to move through the process more quickly.

I was charge $200 for a blanket that had a PERVIOUS DAMAGE...there was a cigarette burn in the Blanket that was stored in the closet in the plastic bag. When I checked out there was no one working the desk so I couldn't report it. I called after I was charged and the MANAGER was horrible to speak too and very unprofessional. He REFUSED to refund me for their damage. DO NOT recommend.

Room was organized and clean. Bathroom tub metal spout could use better cleaning to it. Breakfast could have more selection like bacon or more fruits, etc. what we did eat was still all yummy. Staff was friendly and quick to get us to our room. Thank you for the stay! We will recommend to other friends and family!

DO NOT STAY HERE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS! I’ve been coming to this hotel for work for the last several weeks, and the showers are o Lu hot on the first floor, there’s mold on the bathroom ceilings. The employees are always just sitting in the front office and act like you’re a hindering them when you ask for the simplest things, for example the toilet was clogged and called down to the front desk and asked if the provide plungers, and the response I got was “uh you can come down here and get ours I guess.” I returned to my room after work the other day and black sludge had come up out of the sink and clogged it so my sink was unusable. I went down to the front desk to complain and they told me that maintenance would be right on it. They never came by so I complained the next morning and they told me I would have to clean it up if I wanted to use my sink and handed me a pair of rubber gloves. I said no way I’ll just take it up with the manager. So I’ve put up with all of this because we had a rate through them for work but out of the blue they decided there not honoring it any more and today I’m told that I can’t even stay there any more because my kids spilt some chips in the corner when they stayed with me last week!

Hadn’t been here for a bit since they renovated and it was wonderful. Meghan at the desk was just incredibly awesome! So glad we came back and will definitely stay again. The beds were so comfy and love the heating system too, just everything seems to have been elevated for the better. Good job guys! Go Meghan as I cannot say enough about her.

I didn’t like housekeeping pounding on the door at 9 am when I had the do not disturb sign out on the door and checkout wasn’t until 11 am. She was rude saying she needed to get room cleaned so she could get off work early!

Very noisy during the day. Could hear doors shutting, people talking in their rooms and music from restaraunt patio next door. Fortunately it quieted down after 10pm. The breakfast was great!

We had a smooth and quick check-in. The double queen room offered plenty of space, with comfortable beds, a clean environment, and a wonderful hot shower. Breakfast and coffee were both satisfying, and the location made coming and going very easy.

Hadley and Azzure had excellent customer service during our 3 day stay. The maintenance guy allowed me to borrow some tools so I could work on my car. It’s a great location!

Check was easy, staff were friendly, the pool and hot tub area was nice. The breakfast wasn’t the best as far as choices but it was free so can’t complain. We needed a place for the weekend while on a family ski trip. would stay here again.

Room was organized and clean. Bathroom tub metal spout could use better cleaning to it. Breakfast could have more selection like bacon or more fruits, etc. what we did eat was still all yummy. Staff was friendly and quick to get us to our room. Thank you for the stay! We will recommend to other friends and family!

Clean, spacious room. Stayed in king suite. Pool and hot tub very nice and clean. Breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. Great location. Staff very friendly. Beds comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Room was super clean, property nice overall; breakfast was terrible with quite possibly the driest sausages I've ever had. Quite a shame, because the breakfast here used to be the absolute best with a rotating menu. Pillows were very uncomfortable, which sucked for sleeping.

The front desk staff was very rushed, barely said a word and just hurried us along during check in like we were burdening him. The TV had maybe a handful of channels that actually worked. The hot tub is nice and hot, but it’s so full that as an adult I couldn’t sit in it without half of my face being under water. There weren’t any dirty socks under the bed like the last time though!! (Assuming that last part…I was afraid to check.)
