SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay unforgettable. The atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing. It feels like a private sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy every moment. The amenities make it even better. The onsite restaurant offers a wide range of dishes with options for every diet, and everything I tried was delicious. The Muay Thai boxing lessons were a fun and energizing surprise. The pool area is stunning, the massages are top tier, and having direct access to the beach is the perfect way to start or end each day. If you want a resort that blends comfort, luxury, and authentic Thai hospitality, this is the place. I would come back without hesitation.

Absolutely loved it here - so relaxing and comfortable, felt instantly at home. They offer a great selection of free activities and the restaurant does brilliant food. Would love to stay again.

We were blown away by SALA, the property is exceptional and the staff were amazing and very accommodating. The restaurant offering is outstanding in both Thai and Western cuisines and the Spa was also very good. The Mai Khao area is much quieter than other areas on Phuket but has a nice feel to it and suited us (family with a 3 year old) perfectly. Would highly recommend and will definitely return at some stage. Only downsides to the stay was the beach was closed for swimming due to rough waves and there was quite a lot of rubbish washed in from the surf (both outside the resorts control)

Perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. The property has everything you need from food and drinks, pool, to bikes to go to the shopping mall. Plus the staff is beyond amazing!!! Definitely would stay again.

The hotel is very nice and well appointed, with a great pool area. Nice location on the beach, very convenient for Phuket airport. The food at the restaurant was very good too. They have themed evenings - movie night on a big outdoor screen or thai buffet with traditional dances, which if you are looking for a quiet evening, is a bit of a nuisance.

We are a youngish well traveled retired coupleWe had a pool Villa which was very comfortable and private. Service is ok. That is largely because we don't speak Thai. Food was good. Location is a long way from everywhere which could be excellent for Honeymoon couple although quite a few children. Beach is amazing. Gym is good

Nice reception Nice pool Nice beach Nice restaurant Nice staff Nice apartment when inside.. but between reception and pool beach area its just a mass of concrete buildings shortly it could be camouflaged to tone it down and make it look a bit more tasteful.

It was terrific to return to the Sala Phuket after a number of years and find it as peaceful and tranquil as I remembered. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly and the resort clean and exceptionally well maintained. Delicious food. Quick and easy access to the airport. Definitely recommended!

We booked a SALA Pool Villa for the privacy, and it was great. Requested set times for cleaning and turn-down services every day and they were always finished by the time we returned from breakfast and dinner. Our villa space was always clean. Great breakfast with a la carte options, egg station, juice bar and a wide continental selection; catered well to food allergy issues.

The property is secluded with a private beach, however, the tides were quite strong during our stay. We stayed in a duplex with a private pool. The concept is pretty neat, but the two stories we found, was too much room for a couple. The outdoor bathrooms took getting used to, especially with the fluctuation in temperature from the inside bedroom and living room. The size of the private pool was excellent. Our villa definitely showed its wear and tear. The tile around the pool area was discoloured and chipped in quite a few places. The staff tries their best in keeping the property and villas clean, however, the wear and tear in this villa needs some care or renovation. We had issued with the front door lock which was replaced during our last night of stay. The upstairs door that opens to the outdoor bathroom, took a lot of force to open. If you are not into climbing two flights of stairs, I would not recommend the duplex. The breakfast buffet was very limited and mediocre, compared to other resorts we’ve been to in Phuket. The lunch and dinner food was limited and also mediocre. I would recommend eating off the resort. The spa treatment was really nice and the fitness centre was well kept with nice Life Fitness equipments. Enough to get the job done. Overall, I would try other resorts with the same price range before coming back anytime soon.

Tolles Hotel und perfekter Service (Restaurant ausgeschlossen). Der Service im Restaurant lies zu wünschen übrig. Getränke wurden sehr spät oder manchmal gar nicht serviert, das wurde des Öfteren einfach vergessen. Ansonsten war die Anlage sehr schön und vor allem sauber. Leider ist das Hotel recht abgeschieden, sodass man zum nächsten Supermarkt am besten das Fahrrad nehmen sollte, jedoch sind diese auch nicht mehr im besten Zustand, aber für die Strecke in Ordnung. Durch die Abgeschiedenheit vom Hotel sind auch Ausflüge recht schwierig, da die Anreise dadurch recht lange dauert.

The room was beautiful and loved the interior design. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there were a lot of ants in my room floor, the housekeeping would come everyday to make sure your room was cleaned up and every couple of days they would have pest control service. Overall I enjoyed all the facilities there and super close to the beach!!

Le ville private con piscina sono confortevoli, spaziose ed eleganti, con letti molto comodi e un'ottima privacy. Scelte di design come i bagni all'aperto e, nelle unità duplex, le scale non sono adatte a tutti e possono introdurre un po' di rumore proveniente dalle docce dei vicini.

Although there were a lot of ants in my room floor, the housekeeping would come everyday to make sure your room was cleaned up and every couple of days they would have pest control service. Overall I enjoyed all the facilities there and super close to the beach!!

It was terrific to return to the Sala Phuket after a number of years and find it as peaceful and tranquil as I remembered. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly and the resort clean and exceptionally well maintained. Delicious food. Quick and easy access to the airport. Definitely recommended!

SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay unforgettable. The atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing. It feels like a private sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy every moment. The amenities make it even better. The onsite restaurant offers a wide range of dishes with options for every diet, and everything I tried was delicious. The Muay Thai boxing lessons were a fun and energizing surprise. The pool area is stunning, the massages are top tier, and having direct access to the beach is the perfect way to start or end each day. If you want a resort that blends comfort, luxury, and authentic Thai hospitality, this is the place. I would come back without hesitation.

Tolles Hotel und perfekter Service (Restaurant ausgeschlossen). Der Service im Restaurant lies zu wünschen übrig. Getränke wurden sehr spät oder manchmal gar nicht serviert, das wurde des Öfteren einfach vergessen. Ansonsten war die Anlage sehr schön und vor allem sauber. Leider ist das Hotel recht abgeschieden, sodass man zum nächsten Supermarkt am besten das Fahrrad nehmen sollte, jedoch sind diese auch nicht mehr im besten Zustand, aber für die Strecke in Ordnung. Durch die Abgeschiedenheit vom Hotel sind auch Ausflüge recht schwierig, da die Anreise dadurch recht lange dauert.

Although it is a little far from tourist attractions & may cost a fair bit to travel each day but think the quietness & friendly staff made up for this shortcoming. Than you to our drivers too. Really enjoyed our stay here. Quite breathtaking when you walk in and you get a sense of how surreal and peaceful the resort is. Feels like an oasis away from home. Despite the resort being fully booked out, we never felt as though it was crowded. Case in point, we took a stroll to JW Marriott (property next door) and although there was admittedly much more activities and restaurants available for choosing, we were very grateful to be back at Sala at the end of the day. Service level was top notch the entire stay, every interaction felt so natural and friendly. In fact - on our first day, we already decided that we are definitely coming back. Thank you for such a fantastic stay, it was a wonderful break away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

We were blown away by SALA, the property is exceptional and the staff were amazing and very accommodating. The restaurant offering is outstanding in both Thai and Western cuisines and the Spa was also very good. The Mai Khao area is much quieter than other areas on Phuket but has a nice feel to it and suited us (family with a 3 year old) perfectly. Would highly recommend and will definitely return at some stage. Only downsides to the stay was the beach was closed for swimming due to rough waves and there was quite a lot of rubbish washed in from the surf (both outside the resorts control)

This is hands down the best resort I’ve ever stayed at. Warm, kind consierge, front desk, servers, and guides. Literally everyone we encountered was so helpful and sweet. The pool villa accommodations are luxe and such a unique experience. The breakfast and restaurant food offerings are incredible and affordable. The excursions are affordable also given they are private which means you wont need to deal with the booze cruise crowds. And the Mai Khao beach is clean, beautiful and peaceful. If you dont mind driving to the touristy things in the south of the island, this is a magnificent option for a first time Thailand visitor.

The hotel is very nice and well appointed, with a great pool area. Nice location on the beach, very convenient for Phuket airport. The food at the restaurant was very good too. They have themed evenings - movie night on a big outdoor screen or thai buffet with traditional dances, which if you are looking for a quiet evening, is a bit of a nuisance.

We booked a SALA Pool Villa for the privacy, and it was great. Requested set times for cleaning and turn-down services every day and they were always finished by the time we returned from breakfast and dinner. Our villa space was always clean. Great breakfast with a la carte options, egg station, juice bar and a wide continental selection; catered well to food allergy issues.

The property is secluded with a private beach, however, the tides were quite strong during our stay. We stayed in a duplex with a private pool. The concept is pretty neat, but the two stories we found, was too much room for a couple. The outdoor bathrooms took getting used to, especially with the fluctuation in temperature from the inside bedroom and living room. The size of the private pool was excellent. Our villa definitely showed its wear and tear. The tile around the pool area was discoloured and chipped in quite a few places. The staff tries their best in keeping the property and villas clean, however, the wear and tear in this villa needs some care or renovation. We had issued with the front door lock which was replaced during our last night of stay. The upstairs door that opens to the outdoor bathroom, took a lot of force to open. If you are not into climbing two flights of stairs, I would not recommend the duplex. The breakfast buffet was very limited and mediocre, compared to other resorts we’ve been to in Phuket. The lunch and dinner food was limited and also mediocre. I would recommend eating off the resort. The spa treatment was really nice and the fitness centre was well kept with nice Life Fitness equipments. Enough to get the job done. Overall, I would try other resorts with the same price range before coming back anytime soon.

Traumhafter Ort um zu entspannen. Rundum gelungenes Design. Die Poolvillen sind sehr schön eingerichtet und bieten viel Privatsphäre. Die Anlage selbst ist großzügig dimensioniert und es wird nie zu voll. Der Strand grenzt unmittelbar an. Sehr aufmerksames und immer freundliches Personal. Tolles und abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Restaurant auf gehobenem Niveau. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Urlaub. Insgesamt auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne wert.

SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort absolutely deserves five stars. From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the stay unforgettable. The atmosphere throughout the property is peaceful and relaxing. It feels like a private sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe, and enjoy every moment. The amenities make it even better. The onsite restaurant offers a wide range of dishes with options for every diet, and everything I tried was delicious. The Muay Thai boxing lessons were a fun and energizing surprise. The pool area is stunning, the massages are top tier, and having direct access to the beach is the perfect way to start or end each day. If you want a resort that blends comfort, luxury, and authentic Thai hospitality, this is the place. I would come back without hesitation.
