The hotel looks like it has had remodeling done. The smell in the elevator was strong from paint. The pool was dirty on the 3 days we used it and outdoor furnishings need to be replaced.My main issue was the breakfast. Employees did not come out to wipe tables, refill any empty items, the eggs were terrible and cold. It seems like they would provide enough food for everyone. I guess you needed to be there at 6:30 otherwise your just left with scraps. If you went and asked the man working there did not seem happy with you.

The room was clean and well kept. The pool and pool area was very nice. There was a seating area out back with a XL outdoor chess game set and corn hole boards. Very relaxed atmosphere. We will stay here again. Good location. Plenty of parking.

Great location on Jekyll Island, not far from restaurants. Very near the path around the island, bikes are available to rent at the hotel. Comfortable beds. Very chilled out and relaxing location.

Room was very nice - 2 bedrooms (1 king and other 2 double). Full bath and extra sink area; dishes, utensils, pots provided. Only issue with room-musty smell every time you walked in; 2 lights flickered, and issue hotel is aware of - ceiling fan control was also controlled by rooms next door control. Breakfast was good - eggs with sausage; or eggs with patty, biscuit & gravy one morning; cereals, fresh yogurt, fruits, oatmeal, pastries, juices, coffee. Pool area was very nice, front desk personnel were kind & very helpful. Parking was great, no problem, hotel across street from beach access and close to attractions and restaurants. One thing to keep in mind - $10 per day if you leave the island and do not return by 11:59pm. All in all, was very nice and relaxing place - definitely not a place if you want nightlife - go to St. Simon Island - 25-30 minutes away,

Overall were satified, nice Pool Area, easy access to the beach. Unfortunately there Was problems with using the laundry facility, help desk was not able to to help put so much with that. Also TV in the bedroom was difficult to wrach from the bed. Snack items in hotel were overpriced.

Parking area was well lit and safe. Room was incredibly large, clean, smelled amazing and bed was extra comfortable. Highly impressed with the breakfast and just overall place. We will definitely be back again!

This hotel is now a Beat Western Plus. It was our first time staying here, but we would stay again. We go for the bike trail, the good restaurants, and the beautiful areas, not the beach, so we don’t mind if we are not on beach front. The hotel was quiet and well taken care of. Breakfast was typical but nothing special, and that’s fine with us. The pool is large and there is a separate patio area in the back where we had our breakfast and enjoyed sitting in after dinner. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

The staff were always so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the place was not very clean. You also have to request your room be cleaned which was never told to us until we ask. We were there in August, there were heat advisory everyday. The room only had little ac unit on the wall which did not really cool at all. As it is now with the nasty room and poor ac I wouldn't stay here again. They really to do some work on the rooms

The atmosphere was amazing. We stay at Jekyll island all the time. We wanted to try another hotel for a suite feel and tried this one. Our room had a kitchen where roaches were coming out of the wall. I went to the service desk and asked to switch rooms and the guy who help was amazing. He immediately switched us to another suite. Our stay was fine after that and no roaches.

The bedroom had little hard stickers in the carpet. My grandson found 7. It hurt if you stepped on them. Made me wonder if they had vacuumed. I told the lady when I checked out and no “I’m sorry “ or anything. Also when I checked out I had to wait 20 minutes for a person to come to counter. No one in sight. The phone was ringing nonstop. Disappointed

The room was not clean, smelled bad, the tub and sink in the bathroom was clogged with hair from previous guests; also not cooking sheets or utensils like it said in the amenities. The water in the pool didn’t not circulate, and had mold. Too pricey for the service

Internet connection for televisions was spotty at best. There was a gross stain on the couch and mold growing behind the toilet and in the shower. The kitchen wasn’t very well stocked ( no bottle opener and only six glasses. My wife had to ask the front desk for several linens and also to let them know about the mold and grime in the bathroom. We would not stay here again.

The hotel was nice enough just make sure your room isn't over the breakfast area or it's so noisy that sleeping past 6ish is impossible with all the banging. Other than that it was fine.

I was impressed with the room. It was a suite and had everything you could ask for in the kitchen, even a dishwasher. This would be a place i could spend a week or more in and be completely satisfied. We were very pleased.

The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. I was able to check in early to give babies a nap. They also delivered whatever I needed. Breakfast is a nice bonus and ifs a step above most continental hotel breakfasts. The king two bedroom is a great value with tons of room! We put two babies in the kitchen in pack and plays, 2 adults and child slept in the “twin room” which is actually 2 FULL size beds. 2 adults in king room.
The staff goes above and beyond to meet your needs. I was able to check in early to give babies a nap. They also delivered whatever I needed. Breakfast is a nice bonus and ifs a step above most continental hotel breakfasts. The king two bedroom is a great value with tons of room! When you're used to staying at a 4-5 star this is sub par. Noise at 7am (landscape) on a saturday is unacceptable. Constant pounding of hammers throughout the day..not sure if this is the right time for renovations when people are trying to get away to relax. Poor timing on Mgmnts behalf. When you're used to staying at a 4-5 star this is sub par. Noise at 7am (landscape) on a saturday is unacceptable. Constant pounding of hammers throughout the day..not sure if this is the right time for renovations when people are trying to get away to relax. Poor timing on Mgmnts behalf. We stayed at this location for two nights, and it was fantastic! It is a great location, just across the street from the beach (but not an ocean view). We had a slight problem with the AC, and they immediately moved us to an upgraded and better room without hesitation. (We did not have to ask.) Relative to other nearby properties, I doubt there is any better value for the money.

Our stay was reasonable although our ceiling fan didn't work and the A/C made a funny noise all night long. These things are inconveniences but not that big a deal. My real issue is that we brought our dog and had two 1 night stays (lay overs on a long drive) but were charged for 3 pet charges. I tried several times to bring the error to their attention and was only met with arguments that their "folio" showed credits. The fact is no credits made it from their folio to my credit card, only the charges. When presented with this information, they continued to argue that they were right and I was wrong. At the end fo the day, the bank statement is the true record, not their computer system. If it were my business, I would have just given me back $40 even if I didn't think it was due. Customer service is pretty important and now they've become a place I will not stay nor recommend!

Ms. Jolene was amazing as always!! Glad to see that she is still there!! Her customer service is impeccable! She truly cares for her guests! Tara and Tequila were great as well!! The housekeeping staffing has improved so much since our last stay! Everything was clean and much better maintained than our last visit! We love the location and Ms Jolene- we had to give it another chance, and we are super glad we did!!!! My only and MINOR complaint is the variety of the breakfast. The breakfast staff didn’t seem to really care. Biscuits and gravy and watery eggs a few days in a row gets old quick! When asking for waffles - the woman stated she had no idea what happen to their machine. All the stuff was out for waffles. 1/2 the machine was on the counter. To me it just seemed like she didn’t want to bother to clean it.

We where on the second floor which was no big deal but on our second day there the elevator broke my dad is older and doesn't do the steps well there was no bedding for the pull out bed asked for some before 10pm didn't receive anything till after midnight we tried to go back down and see if we could get bedding around 11pm and the lobby was locked and nobody could be found and when the guy finally brought the bedding after midnight he was pounding on the door like he was the fbi everyone was sound asleep it terrified everyone that was totally unacceptable when i wanted to talk to the manager the next morning i was told they where on vacation which is fine they said the regional manager was there and they would call me asap and righ the situation i said that was fine that never happened that evening i went in and asked to speak with the manager and they said he was busy he would call i said he needs to call me i have to speak with him i to this day still have not been able to talk with a manager i am so disappointed in this hotel have stayed here many times in the past and this was by far the worst i can't say i would stay here again

No WiFi working in the room. I had a 2 days booking and the next day front desk guy told me that you have only one day booking and he didn’t give me the key for next day. And after a little argue he was agree to give me the key. It was worst experience with best western plus.

Easy access to Jekyll Island from I-95. $10 GA park fee to get onto island. Hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were all pleasant and welcoming. Typical free breakfast options. Restaurants in walking distance. Wide, flat beach across the street. Nearby golf course. Property is located directly on the northern bike loop trail. I stayed twice and rode it both times. Except for some residential stretches, the bike route is gorgeous - ocean, driftwood beach, historical sites and salt marsh scenery. More commercial areas are on the southern end of the island which also has a connecting bike loop trail.

The hotel looks like it has had remodeling done. The smell in the elevator was strong from paint. The pool was dirty on the 3 days we used it and outdoor furnishings need to be replaced.My main issue was the breakfast. Employees did not come out to wipe tables, refill any empty items, the eggs were terrible and cold. It seems like they would provide enough food for everyone. I guess you needed to be there at 6:30 otherwise your just left with scraps. If you went and asked the man working there did not seem happy with you.

This hotel is newly remodeled and quite nicely done. The staff was extremely helpful with combing two bookings to allow us to stay in our same room after a last minute change of plans. The pool is great and the complementary breakfast was on the better end of the free breakfast scale. We absolutely will stay again and bring our family. The suite will be fantastic for adding our kids and grandkids to our next visit to Jekyll Island!

We have stayed here 4 other times in the past when it was Quality Inn and the Seafarer. I really liked the hotel when it was run by those companies. Under Best Western the breakfast now isn't very good, fruit was old, not much selection. The pool was not well maintained and was dirty, I used to love the pool here. Also the pet fee is ridiculous now- $40 per pet per night no maximum. It used to be a maximum of $120. Not worth what we paid for our week long stay. Just seems run down now.

This is the 2nd time staying here I think and it's been great both times. The only thing I'll say is that the breakfast could've been better. But the location is nice, the parking convenient although maybe not enough spots when the hotel is full. This has become our go to hotel.
