We arrived at night after a long day travelling from Scotland via train and rail replacement bus. Upon arriving at the hotel there was no lift/elevator. Luckily the fellow at the desk helped carry our bags up to our room. The room itself was fairly spacious with a couple of chairs, although stained, a desk and TV. TV did not work and had to get the desk person to fix. No A/C. Small fan provided in the room. The bed consisted of 2 single beds pushed together with a box spring and a 4in piece of foam. Definitely not the most comfortable. Room was a bit dirty with a small bit of food on the floor. One of the walls next to the bed had scuff marks on it. Obviously not washed off in a while. The bathroom was big and spacious with a tub/shower combination. Water in the shower ran hot/cold/hot/cold. Asked the front desk about this and they said they would let maintenance know. Nothing changed. Wall mounted shower hand wand kept sliding down on its post. I had to attach an elastic band to the post to keep it the wand from sliding. Beautiful view of the Thames from our room. Small balcony to step out on. 10 minute walk from/to train station and 5 minute walk to buses. Close to the high street with lots of shopping and restaurants. Pretty river walk/path right outside of the hotel. Great location but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Over priced, pictures do not reflect this property. It needs major updating, carpets worn, bedroom old, tired as well as the furnishings old and carpets in bedroom worn. Door to patio a part was broken and no patio furniture to sit out. Bar very overpriced 330ml bottle of beer and a lemonade was £22 well over priced even for London. Outside area was shabby. I would not return back and I would say to others to avoid this hotel and Hotels.com you need to take this hotel and other Hotels off your site. Very disappointed especially as the photos do not reflect this hotel.

My only issue was that Hotels.com stated that we would have to go through Whats App to get a code. we had a difficult time doing this and scanning drivers license etc. As it turned our, there were people at check in so didnt need to spend time doing that

Truly awful. To start, it felt very unsafe. We’re supplied a code to open the front door with, but when we arrived at around midnight we were able to walk straight in with nobody on the reception to question us. We could’ve been anybody. Once we got to our room, the keypad to get into the room didn’t work until about 5 minutes of trying random buttons. Not sure if this code changes for each visit, but in theory anybody could walk in through the front door and if they remembered the codes just walk in. And then there’s the room. It was in such a bad state. The walls were covered in stains/smears and the carpet had lots of strange orange stains. Pillows smelled musty. The website also states there’s a kettle and a tea + coffee maker. This was a lie, we had the bottom part of a kettle hidden away in a random cupboard. The bathroom was dire too, filthy/rusty shower and sink with a toilet which barely flushed. We were then woken up at 6:30am by a strange noise which sounded like somebody cleaning our window from the outside? Then, housekeeping decided to try and enter our room at 8:30am? They did 1 knock then a few seconds later we heard the keypad unlock. Luckily we locked the room from the inside otherwise we would’ve had a stranger walk in. The check out is 11:30am, so they had absolutely no business coming around so early and trying to enter. After this, they were slamming doors and banging like something I’ve never heard until we eventually gave up and left. Horrific.
