Sunday London Staines-upon-Thames Heathrow T5

Cama e travesseiro muito desconfortal, esta nao e uma boa opcao para ficar proximo ao Heathrow, leva cerca de 30 minutos para o terminal 5 , muitas opcoes melhores e mais proxima ao aeroporto. Hotel velho e quarto muito lo ge da recepção

The hotel is beautiful, the location is great! The booking says there is a restaurant on premises. However they are having staffing problems and the restaurant is closed. Only the bar was open. We were exhausted from our trip and did not really want to go out again but we had to if we wanted to eat before bed time. Also, they are very strict at sticking to the 3pm check in. We arrived early and checked out bags so we could explore. But we were also exhausted. We sat in the lobby for over 2 hrs waiting to be checked in. But it seemed apparent that they we not waiting for guest to leave or rooms to be cleaned. By the 3pm check in time there was a line of ppl waiting to check in and she checked everyone in one at a time. This line could have been prevented by allowing a few guest to check in early.

the receptionist was extraordinary helpful to get everybody aroom and bed besides the were overbooked, as many travelers stranded in London due to Flight cancellations all in the middle of the night!!! Great service and overperformsnce!!! Thanks a Lot

Ingen hiss pga äldre byggnad. Fint badrum men rummet var slitet och vi kunde inte stänga fönstret så rummet var iskallt. Det är lite svårt att hitta hotellet och även om det ligger 15 min från Heathrow är man tvungen att betala 50 GBP för en taxiresa dit. Vi kom sent och vi fick fel rum men vi orkade inte byta, vår 6-årig hade redan somnat.

I paid for an upgraded room with a bath. I didn’t get one. Reception staff painfully slow despite not being very busy. I asked the barman about room service and was told that the chef normally finishes at 9.30pm but because it was quiet he was letting him go early but as long as I ordered by 8.30pm I could get some food. I returned at 8.15pm and the barman said he’d already let the chef go. I was annoyed about this.
