Plenty of parking and reasonably close to restaurants and other facilities. The room is small and there were no closets, but it was comfortable. There were no cups or coffee in the room, but they were available in the office. The owner was nice.

Check in was nice and easy, the lady running the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself looks like an older hotel that was recently renovated. Nice beds, nice bathroom, a mini fridge and microwave in the room. No complaints, I was pleasantly surprised with everything. 5 stars.

The owner (Christopher) called ahead of time to ask about our arrival time and to see what temperature we would want the room set up at. He welcomed us upon arrival. Quick and easy check-in. The room was very clean. Bed (we had a king size) was comfortable. AC/heating unit worked very well. I would definitely consider staying here again if we can’t find a closer to Amherst alternative.

This was an unexpectedly exellent stay. The rooms were very spacious, very clean. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The beds were also quite comfortable! Having stayed at two other properties during our visit to the area, I can say that the River Valley Inn outshined the others. We should have booked there for more nights.

Most likely the cleanest motel I've ever stayed at. They reached out ahead of time to see when we thought we would arrive so that they could make sure the room was cooled for our arrival. Run by an extremely friendly couple. Very comfortable beds! Would definitely stay there again!

Lost my reservation. Couldn't get key to work.had the change room. When i arrived back later in yhe night someone else was staying in my room. Next room had no heat. Room i finally stayed in smelled overpoweringly of disinfectant so now all my stuuf smells of it.

The new owners of this property have done wonders. It’s clean, comfortable and affordable. It’s an easy ride from Northampton and many restaurants there. The owners were helpful and friendly and have big plans. I look forward to going back and seeing what other improvements they make

Plenty of parking and reasonably close to restaurants and other facilities. The room is small and there were no closets, but it was comfortable. There were no cups or coffee in the room, but they were available in the office. The owner was nice.

New owner was very nice at check in offering snacks, coffee and a small gift bag with chips and chocolates. Room was small and dated but updated floor and bathroom along with nice bedding, very comfortable nights sleep!

Excellent choice of an inexpensive motel. Everything was great except the lack of hot water in our bathroom, and a gardener waking us up in the morning blowing leaves. But there were many channels on the TV, lots of towels and wash cloths, comfortable bed, all the amenities (except tissues), and a nice staff. We'd stay there again.

We had two rooms and one was a bit cleaner than the other. The staff was very accommodating. When an issue was brought to their attention they went all out to make it better. They seem like a lovely young couple who are doing their best to spruce up an older property and I wish them well. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Easy parking, and convenient location if you're driving in the area.

This is listed as a 2-star hotel but it deserves to be at least 3-star. Our room was very clean and spacious. The A/C worked great, and the bed was very comfortable. I will absolutely stay here again in the future, and I'll recommend it to others coming to the area.
