The location keeps you away from potential surrounding noise, which is a plus when looking for a place to relax. Unfortunately, we had to clear the property's courtyard upon arrival of Spanish moss, flying from the trees before enjoying the hot tub. Not the best after a long car trip.

Everything met the listing exactly. Very nice home with good space for lounging and relaxing. Parking was always open on the street just about 10 feet from the entrance. Very good communication with the property manager and only about a 5 minute drive to the downtown historic district.

Three friends in town celebrating our 60th. We found the location perfect for downtown excursions and Starland neighborhood music and dining activities in the evening. There are many dining options very walkable from the rental. We were glad not to be in the in town crowds and noise in the evenings. The hot tub was a nice relaxing experience after a day of walking the town. There is a free trolley stop not far from the rental and our Lyft rides were always under 10. The unit is compact and tidy. It worked for our 6 night stay. Keyless locks at both the gate and the unit door. We felt safe walking the neighborhood at day and night.

We only stayed for two days but they were great days. It's a cute place for a couple or two couples or just adults. Not really designed for children. Expected to be uncomfortable with one bathroom, but it worked fine for my husband and me and my adult nephew. It was clean, well-kept and provided free street side parking. And security is tops. If you want to be comfortable; away from crowds, but close to Savannah city, this is the place for you.

The house is super cute and clean. It was perfect for a few day getaway. The bedrooms are small but worked out well since we didn't unpack for our stay. If staying longer and you tend to unpack on vacation just know that there isn't a dresser in either bedroom. There is a small closet that would work for hanging close though. The neighborhood that you drive through to get to the house doesn't appear to be the best in the area but once we arrived we never felt unsafe. They have a deadbolt on the outside gate with code to access and then of course the house is secure. The hot tub was a nice perk.

The unit was perfect for our group of 3 sisters. The location was perfect as well. Close to downtown and River st. The few questions we did have were answered promptly. The jacuzzi topped it off! Would definitely stay again!

Carriage house was neat and clean, with all the comforts of home. So much better than a hotel as you don't have to fight the tourists crowds downtown. Close to anything you want to see. Very kind property owners, though communication is with mgmnt company. Communications were responsive and accommodating. Excellent experience with mgm t comlany

We loved the house and its decor. It was clean and had some excellent restaurants east of its location. Our only displeasure was in the local area. There are some very questionable elements that over 3 to 5 blocks. We love the place but we caution on your security if you get out of the house and go west. Everything was convenient in the house and the owners were very nice.

The house was exactly as described and it was perfect! The only issue i had was that there were wet towels in the washer and the dryer I have ocd so I did the laundry. Other than that everything was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and the property manager answered the one question we had very quickly. We will definitely stay here again as Savannah is my happy place.

Property was as advertised. Very clean, tastefully furnished, well appointed. Within 1 or 2 miles of most things you want to see and do in Savannah( riverfront, city market, historic district, downtown). I liked the neighborhood - old Victorian homes, live oaks.

The place was adorable, very clean and well maintained. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub though. Neighborhood was a little noisy but as expected on Christmas Eve. Will be back to stay again during the summer months.

I thought this place was great! Cute, very clean, perfect for our needs. Walking distance to some neat spots. Had everything we needed, and a very responsive host. Would absolutely stay there again!

It was a great little private stay! The hot tub was great! The house was cozy and comfortable. The neighbor hood didn’t look very appealing at first but it was very quiet nothing out of the ordinary happening! The starland yard was a great suggestion with this listing, a very cool spot for drinks and a bite to eat. There is plenty of bars around the starland yard as well. Also you’re about two miles from downtown (River street) so that’s about - forty minute walk. Great stay would definitely stay again!!

This was a cute little place to stay. Had everything that we needed. Updated and private. Hot tub was nice as well as the faux fireplace. The only draw back was it took a while for the water to heat up & the water pressure in the shower was a little low. Otherwise, our stay was great!

House was nice, a couple of things were disappointing. The bedrooms had no place to put clothing that was to be unpacked from luggage. Had to live out of our luggage. Thought that there might have been some coffee or tea in the kitchen to use, but none there.Was a nice place to stay for a short visit.

Contrary to what I read in some other reviews, I didn’t perceive this rental to be in a “rough” or “bad section” of Savannah, although it was slightly removed from the more bustling historic district. It was close enough to easily walk or über to nearby destinations throughout our stay. Access to the property when we arrived was straightforward and easy. This property was not what I think most people envision when they think of a “carriage house”. I can understand why some reviewers referred to it as a renovated garage of sorts. But it’s really more like a small modern apartment. We were traveling with 3 people (myself, my husband, and our son), and this space suited us perfectly. It has two bedrooms, was clean, and came stocked with all the basic necessities such as starter paper towels, toilet paper, soap, trash bags, etc. If you stay here we highly recommend going to Foxy Loxys for breakfast. It’s just a few minutes walk from the rental and they had amazing coffees and a nice selection of pastries. The courtyard area is a nice spot to sit and enjoy your breakfast. We also enjoyed a trolley tour of Savannah during our stay, which is a nice way to get an overview of the city’s rich history, and we had really good fare everywhere we dined. There’s no shortage of great restaurants to eat at.

Good base for exploring Savannah or Hilton Head. Carriage House is cute and well appointed. If only there was a larger, more comfortable bed. Hot tub was great.

My husband, son, and I stayed here for a last minute weekend trip before the Fourth of July. A friend came and stayed one night as well. It was comfortable and had plenty of space for us. The beds were comfortable and overall the house was clean. The shower pressure was really low but we managed. The management company was very responsive. Parking was easy and the house is pretty close to everything.

This property was not what I think most people envision when they think of a “carriage house”. I can understand why some reviewers referred to it as a renovated garage of sorts. But it’s really more like a small modern apartment. We were traveling with 3 people (myself, my husband, and our son), and this space suited us perfectly. It has two bedrooms, was clean, and came stocked with all the basic necessities such as starter paper towels, toilet paper, soap, trash bags, etc. If you stay here we highly recommend going to Foxy Loxys for breakfast. It’s just a few minutes walk from the rental and they had amazing coffees and a nice selection of pastries. The courtyard area is a nice spot to sit and enjoy your breakfast. We also enjoyed a trolley tour of Savannah during our stay, which is a nice way to get an overview of the city’s rich history, and we had really good fare everywhere we dined. There’s no shortage of great restaurants to eat at.
Contrary to what I read in some other reviews, I didn’t perceive this rental to be in a “rough” or “bad section” of Savannah, although it was slightly removed from the more bustling historic district. It was close enough to easily walk or über to nearby destinations throughout our stay. Access to the property when we arrived was straightforward and easy. Three friends in town celebrating our 60th. We found the location perfect for downtown excursions and Starland neighborhood music and dining activities in the evening. There are many dining options very walkable from the rental. We were glad not to be in the in town crowds and noise in the evenings. The hot tub was a nice relaxing experience after a day of walking the town. There is a free trolley stop not far from the rental and our Lyft rides were always under 10. The unit is compact and tidy. It worked for our 6 night stay. Keyless locks at both the gate and the unit door. We felt safe walking the neighborhood at day and night.

My husband, son, and I stayed here for a last minute weekend trip before the Fourth of July. A friend came and stayed one night as well. It was comfortable and had plenty of space for us. The beds were comfortable and overall the house was clean. The shower pressure was really low but we managed. The management company was very responsive. Parking was easy and the house is pretty close to everything.

The unit was perfect for our group of 3 sisters. The location was perfect as well. Close to downtown and River st. The few questions we did have were answered promptly. The jacuzzi topped it off! Would definitely stay again!

I thought this place was great! Cute, very clean, perfect for our needs. Walking distance to some neat spots. Had everything we needed, and a very responsive host. Would absolutely stay there again!

It was a great little private stay! The hot tub was great! The house was cozy and comfortable. The neighbor hood didn’t look very appealing at first but it was very quiet nothing out of the ordinary happening! The starland yard was a great suggestion with this listing, a very cool spot for drinks and a bite to eat. There is plenty of bars around the starland yard as well. Also you’re about two miles from downtown (River street) so that’s about - forty minute walk. Great stay would definitely stay again!!

Carriage house was neat and clean, with all the comforts of home. So much better than a hotel as you don't have to fight the tourists crowds downtown. Close to anything you want to see. Very kind property owners, though communication is with mgmnt company. Communications were responsive and accommodating. Excellent experience with mgm t comlany

We loved the house and its decor. It was clean and had some excellent restaurants east of its location. Our only displeasure was in the local area. There are some very questionable elements that over 3 to 5 blocks. We love the place but we caution on your security if you get out of the house and go west. Everything was convenient in the house and the owners were very nice.

Everything met the listing exactly. Very nice home with good space for lounging and relaxing. Parking was always open on the street just about 10 feet from the entrance. Very good communication with the property manager and only about a 5 minute drive to the downtown historic district.

Property was as advertised. Very clean, tastefully furnished, well appointed. Within 1 or 2 miles of most things you want to see and do in Savannah( riverfront, city market, historic district, downtown). I liked the neighborhood - old Victorian homes, live oaks.

The place was absolutely perfect. It allowed us to visit downtown Savannah and the riverfront without being stuck in the hustle and bustle all day. carriage house it’s a 100% stay I will do it again

This was a perfect accommodation for our sisters' weekend. The apartment is clean and well stocked. The location is pretty perfect, we were 10 min from the heart of the historic area and close to a lot of great restaurants and shops. Our host answered any questions quickly. If we come back to Savannah, we will definitely keep this place in mind! Thank you for sharing your space!

This spot was perfect! We were on a couples trip just to unwind for spring break and see the sites. None of us have ever been to Savannah and coming to this home was wonderful. It was the perfect size for us, and easy to get to and from shopping and excursions that we had planned. The hot tub really elevated the experience. Our host was very accommodating, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Definitely five stars! We look forward to coming back someday.

Was not very clean. Walls had big smudges of dirt/grime. Shower was not clean had toothpaste on the floor. Was afraid to use kitchen stove it had a big chip followed by a crack on glass top. The first bed by the door was impossible to sleep in-mattress was terrible, coverlets on both beds were soiled upon arrival. (Have photos). Legs on kitchen table were not sturdy. Dirty dishes were still in dishwasher from previous renter. Both tv dish remotes the battery cover would not stay on. Cold air return and wall hangings covered in dust. For what we had to pay to stay here would have been better spent in a hotel. Not as close to downtown as noted.
