First impression was not good. We arrived a bit early, our room was not available which was understandable. We were told it would be ready in an hour so we went to lunch and got back about an hour and a half. The room was not ready yet so they put us in a room that was ready. It had been raining and was humid. The a/c was set to 60° f. So we left the door open to the hall - every surface in the room was wet. Floor, furniture, mirrors, cabinets. We returned to the front desk and was given an option of another room that was dry. The TV remote was broken, tried to call the front desk, but the phone was broken also. Went to the front desk and they gave us a new remote. It was not programmed and we could not get it programmed. We also could not get the TV to turn off so we ended up unplugging it and in the morning told the front desk and that we would be out for a couple hrs. They were able to fix it. The shower spigot was leaking and sprayed water everywhere. There is no poolside bar- as advertised. No carpeting anywhere. Water from the roof (still raining) alternated from dripping to pouring onto the balcony. Drain from a/c drained onto the balcony leaving a slimy residue on the balcony. The bed was comfortable. One bamboo like chair by table was broken. Bathroom door did not close. They have a large number of locals staying for $40 cash. They wait by the front & if rooms are available are able to stay for cash only. No housekeeping unless it’s one of the days they come in.

The rooms were very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, the only thing that was a disappointment was the bar, it was only open limited days and hours, but it was in the off season. I would definitely go to this hotel again.

Have stayed at many hotels, for the money I was very happy with this place and will be back for sure, beds are nice witch is a big thing for me at a hotel

Was suppose to get a call when the room was ready and never received a call. The slider lock was broke and would not open so I had to track down a maintenance person. He how ever was exceptional and stayed to fix it even tho he had already clocked out.
