All the staff were so wonderful! The pool is huge and amazing- we loved it! They only have one restaurant- it was also very good. Breakfast daily was wonderful. Our villa was very large, very clean, large bathroom. All is very new. I did love the spa slippers they had for us. The view is wonderful in all directions, mountains or pool and ocean.

Lovely quaint hotel in the quiet north part of the island. I stayed in the pool villa which was very nice. Pool and staff were excellent. My only complaint is that the breakfast needs more options and the coffee needs improvement. It was really bad which is sad as Vietnamese coffee is generally excellent.

Very nice place. The rooms are very large as well as the bathroom. Very good breakfast (do not go too late because the dishes are not always filled...) -Free shuttle to the airport. Beachfront.

Wonderful staff. Nice facility and quiet away from the main city which I like. You can rent moped at the hotel for the day and ride around the island. Hotel can also arrange a ride for you to wherever you want to go. Round trip to night market is 650,000vnd for 6 of us which is not bad. Only thing I would suggest is to add porridge to the buffet breakfast and have more variety of food on the menu for lunch and dinner. Laundry if by weight 30,000vnd/KG, but please note it’s hang dry and not machine dry. Our clothes came back all wrinkly and bugs on them. I understand the bugs. It is an island after all. Maybe there is a section to check for ironing for a charge which I missed. But overall stay is nice.

The entire Coco Island Retreat was clean, beautifully landscaped, quaint, quiet and amazing staff. If you want a chill vibe, with beautiful comfortable accommodations, with a serene infinity pool away from the noise and crowds this is the place! Watch the local fishermen with beautiful sunsets, great restaurant on site. A 15-30 minute cab ride to all the hustle and bustle. Easy access to all the amenities, other beaches etc. The staff will arrange any excursions or tours and motorcycles and feee bicycles to ride to neighboring restaurants and bar. Lovely stay!

Very spacious bungalows, which are well-equipped. The breakfast was extensive and very satisfactory. The entire area is very well maintained and the central pool is a real highlight of the accommodation. The staff were without doubt very friendly and accommodating. Motorbike rental and free use of bicycles were very uncomplicated and quickly organized. We used the free airport transfer which was a real luxury for us. There is nothing to complain about.

We enjoyed every moment of our time here. The view from our villa was simply stunning. The pool was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the food. The retreats location is very remote and not close to a beach but we hired a moped from them, which was really reasonable and we toured the island exploring beaches and the national park. It was complete tranquility and we will definitely be returning.

By luck, we decided to choose JM Cacavilla retreat to stay for 1st time in Phu Quoc. It's located on the Eastside of Phu Quoc,from the map it looks like on the remote side of the island but that what we wanted. Our first impression was WOW!!! We got upgraded into a nice villa style with kingsize bed, premium towels ,sheets, nice bathroom with shower, big stone soaking tub and good running hot water. Our villa is only 100 meter from the ocean, and before that was an outdoor beautiful infinity swimming pool where we spent almost our time there. Also, catch the sunrise here is unbelievable scenes. We also had free delicious breakfasts , and the restaurant here has a good menu for everyone including vegetarian dishes. We also met Mr.Dung, the owner of the resort, very friendly and hard working person to keep the place running smoothly. All the staffs here were very friendly, happy and polite. We felt very blessed and joyful that we chose to stay here. Next year we'll back and stay longer.

Resort close to nature located next to the beach. Gorgeous swimming pool. The room I stayed in was almost newly built so it was very beautiful. Breakfast was also really great. In general, this is a place worth experiencing

It was a very nice property with friendly staff. There was a great breakfast and a decent variety of food in the restaurant. The only negative is that it is vey out-of-the-way. If you want a quiet place to stay away from everything, this is perfect. But it can take a while to visit attractions.

The entire Coco Island Retreat was clean, beautifully landscaped, quaint, quiet and amazing staff. If you want a chill vibe, with beautiful comfortable accommodations, with a serene infinity pool away from the noise and crowds this is the place! Watch the local fishermen with beautiful sunsets, great restaurant on site. A 15-30 minute cab ride to all the hustle and bustle. Easy access to all the amenities, other beaches etc. The staff will arrange any excursions or tours and motorcycles and feee bicycles to ride to neighboring restaurants and bar. Lovely stay!

This is a unique property that provides peace and tranquility. The property manager assisted in arranging a driver for me, allowing me to explore Phu Quoc with ease and joy. I highly recommend this place. The staff was very kind, and I had a fellow tabby cat that became my companion during my stay as a solo traveler. I loved my room and the overall experience I had there.

Highly recommended if you want to have a quiet, peaceful and relaxing place to stay. It’s a bit far from the city but it’s really worth the money and the owner is so amazing and staff are so friendly!!!!

We enjoyed every moment of our time here. The view from our villa was simply stunning. The pool was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the food. The retreats location is very remote and not close to a beach but we hired a moped from them, which was really reasonable and we toured the island exploring beaches and the national park. It was complete tranquility and we will definitely be returning.

Lækkert værelse og pool, og dejligt personale i restauranten og til aktiviteter (Jasmin som stod for daglige aktiviter for gæsterne). Stedet ligger væk fra centrum og der er intet i nærheden, så man skal være forberedt på fuld afslapning i ingenting.

För den här vistelsen tror jag det är viktigt att man väljer rätt typ av rum för att få rätt upplevelse. Vi bodde i ett lägenhetshus med ”utsikt” över vägen/skogen. Hotellet ligger väldigt off, gör ordentlig research innan ni åker hit, det finns inget i närheten som är av någorlunda gångavstånd. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal!

All the staff were so wonderful! The pool is huge and amazing- we loved it! They only have one restaurant- it was also very good. Breakfast daily was wonderful. Our villa was very large, very clean, large bathroom. All is very new. I did love the spa slippers they had for us. The view is wonderful in all directions, mountains or pool and ocean.

Friendly and helphul staff. Room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Very quiet and lovely pool area. Restaurant has a good menu with a range of options as did the breakfast.

Lovely quaint hotel in the quiet north part of the island. I stayed in the pool villa which was very nice. Pool and staff were excellent. My only complaint is that the breakfast needs more options and the coffee needs improvement. It was really bad which is sad as Vietnamese coffee is generally excellent.

Wonderful staff. Nice facility and quiet away from the main city which I like. You can rent moped at the hotel for the day and ride around the island. Hotel can also arrange a ride for you to wherever you want to go. Round trip to night market is 650,000vnd for 6 of us which is not bad. Only thing I would suggest is to add porridge to the buffet breakfast and have more variety of food on the menu for lunch and dinner. Laundry if by weight 30,000vnd/KG, but please note it’s hang dry and not machine dry. Our clothes came back all wrinkly and bugs on them. I understand the bugs. It is an island after all. Maybe there is a section to check for ironing for a charge which I missed. But overall stay is nice.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool was also lovely and a great place to relax. An oasis of calm and quiet peace. Beautiful surrounds and very well kept. Staff are lovely. I will miss the wonderful poolside comforts. The food is delicious and super fresh. Room was cool and spacious. Reluctantly a high recommendation as I’d selfishly prefer it stays quiet.

Wonderful stay, we were upgraded into the bungalow rooms, which had a huge bath and an outdoor shower (plus an indoor one!). The staff do not speak much English, but they are amazing. There was a free summer roll making class on Monday, and they do a free yoga class on a Wednesday. Food was ok, I particularly enjoyed the grilled squid. Drinks were lovely, laundry was reasonably priced and it was so nice and quiet here. It is rustic, but that's absolutely the charm of it. The East side of the island is also very quiet and not yet ruined by tourism, so you will have to do taxis or bikes if you're exploring the island, but it's well worth it for the peace and quiet of this hotel. Highly recommend!

Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The swimming pool is a great size and exceptionally clean—perfect for relaxing at any time of day. The atmosphere around the resort is calm and inviting, making it an ideal place to unwind. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
