July 2025 Family vacation to see Morgan Wallen. We only stayed at this location 1 night, but it was the perfect location with the beach at your back door. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool was so relaxing and felt like an oasis. Only negative was a crib was requested at time of booking and it was not accommodated.

This was our second time to visit this property. Our room was clean and comfortable. Lovely view of the beach from our balcony. We like that this hotel is just 7 floors, but only one elevator makes for a wait during busy times, like check in and check out. We hope to visit again next year.

This property is right on the beach so that is why it got +2 stars. It also has an onsite restaurant that has good food. Pool was kept clean. Bed was decent. Staff was also nice. Problem is that it needs a major renovation. The bathroom in our suite was so small. Tiny little sink, old toilet, small shower and no vents for air conditioning to come in there, or in the little dressing area. Air conditioner unit was pretty loud and looked to be taped onto the wall. Elevator was extremely hot and slow. Pool is small but kept up nicely. Overall wouldn’t stay there again but if it gets fully renovated it would improve their chances for return guests. If you don’t care about the bathroom size and age you may like this place

The property was small which was nice, the rooms were updated. The pool was small but also nice, the restaurant was right next to the pool so everyone going to the restaurant walked through the pool area. They kept the beach free of seaweed and had chairs and towels for the guests. The food at the restaurant was good.

Beautiful gem amongst larger diamonds. Small boutique hotel that had just the upscale relaxed atmosphere we were looking for. Beachfront balcony with huge patio doors and a couple outdoor seats. Staff was amazingly friendly. Parking was never an issue as they have one space for every room. Convenient location for all the fun Ft Lauderdale has to offer.

Great location. The property needs better hardware , especially in bathrooms. Existing bathroom hardware was worn out. Sign in the elevator that says “ don’t push too hard” was making use of elevator scary .

It had a pool and private access to the beach with use of chairs and umbrella. Also a bar and grill on property. We didn’t need anything else for the two nights we were there. Beautiful view of the ocean from our room.

The room was dated, but large. The balcony is very shallow which makes it challenging to get comfortable; however, the view is amazing. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The toilet seat was not clean and there was hair in the shower. There is a lack of electrical sockets near the bed. An extension cord ran under the bed to service the other side of the bed and every time the cord was touched everything plugged into it lost power to include the light, clock, and cellphone charger. It was frustrating not having enough electrical sockets. A small fridge, microwave, and coffee machine were provided. They came in handy. Staff were nice and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Not a bad place to stay, but I would not return.

I like the area and the hotel. What i didn't like was the kitchen was not clean. The bathtub wasn't clean and they didn't put new sheets on the bed when they cleaned the room.

We had a great stay here! The staff was kind and helpful. The room was super clean. We enjoyed the balcony. Only critique is that the rooms could use some TLC/ maintenance. Really great visit overall.

Room floor not clean. Floor lamp non functional. 3rd floor tub leaking into out 2nd floor bathroom. Food at grill average and way overpriced. Grill staff friendly. Front desk staff unprofessional. Only 6 chaise lounge chairs for entire pool area. Dated. Room overpriced for minimal amenities.

Great location. Food was good and seemed to be a popular destination. Alot of seaweed on beach, not sure if its because of the turtle nesting initiative they had going on or not. Room was fairly clean except for the floors. White socks ended up pretty black after going without shoes. Very much a beach vibe hotel. An older/smaller building but modernized enough to be comfortable. Would stay again for the price.

This was the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in awhile. The pool area was beautiful and the room was super clean and very new looking. The food at the restaurant was super tasty and the staff at the hotel and restaurant were super friendly and helpful. But the absolute best part of our stay was the amazing shower in our bathroom, I loved it.

The room was beautiful, but the bathroom needs a few upgrades: bathtub/shower needed an upgrade (rust) and the toilet paper holder was rusty, too. The size of shampoo/conditioner, body wash, lotion were very small.

The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. There was NO WIFI or cell service in the room. When I asked about WIFI I was told twice they might have to "reset it" but no one actually resolved the issue.

I appreciated that the property was right on the beach and beach chairs were available daily. The staff were also friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. The property is dated, especially the bathrooms. It was also very noisy at times due to the laminate flooring. The air conditioning units in the rooms are extremely loud.

This hotel was in a great location. Having its own beach area was nice because we didn’t have to search for chairs and umbrellas. One thing to note is that while the rooms are mostly updated, there are no USB outlets and regular outlets are few and far between. The bathroom is halfway updated. The bathtub/shower needs to be replaced with something newer. Overall though, a clean little hotel with friendly staff.

The Sun Tower is on the beach which is exactly why we booked it. There are limited rooms as every room faces the ocean which is a great feature. The room was bigger than expected, the restaurant has a great breakfast, the beach chairs & umbrellas were super convenient and overall we enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a chill vacation this is a great place.

Stayed here for 3 days for an anniversary trip. The property is beautiful and you cannot beat the views. The rooms are great however the bathroom is outdated. That part was a let down but waking up to the sunrise made it okay. We did not try the in house restaurant but others said the food was great just pricey. As for location we were only a 10 minute Uber ride from restaurants/attractions. The hotel was quiet and staff were great. Our group would definitely come back.

The property offer excellent views on beach, clean pool, good restaurant, and beach better maintained by county versus neighboring resorts and condos with seaweed cleanup x2 in week stay versus none at neighboring properties on beach. The room was with excellent view and proximity to elevator and pool. The interior of room could benefit from update to furniture and ACs moderately to high noise to point TV is nearly unheard until level 70 volume. The AC runs frequently....make sure it's on AUTO not the high setting house keeping seems ordered to set it to.

The Hotel sun towers hotel was very clean excellent! The pool was great and clean!! And being right on the beach was terrific! Had a wonderful stay,,the staff were excellent helped in anyway they could.!

As many others have noted, the hotel is super well located and the rooms are simple but spacious. The restaurant downstairs was super convenient and good with nice seating right on the beach. I would give the property higher ratings if it weren't for the passive-aggressive nature of the front office manager, Allie, who works the desks mornings and daytimes. Others have also pointed out her poor attitude. We didn't have any conflict with her, but we were really surprised that someone who works in hospitality--and as a manager no less--could be that unfriendly and unhelpful. Allie made us feel hesitant to ask for anything, and most days, didn't even look up from her laptop when we came in the door. This is really odd behavior for the hospitality business, and even more so for a small hotel, where part of what you are supposed to get for your value is a bit more personal experience. At least treat people with a smile, even if you have to fake it.

I’m not one to write reviews unless the service is really really great.. or really really bad. This place is amazing! I have to give them the 5 stars they deserve! I just got home from a 5 day stay there with my daughter and we will 100% be back. We both dropped tears leaving because this week felt like “home”. The staff is amazing. From the front desk, to house keeping, to the staff at the sandbar. Rob, the owners father, also works there. He was the sweetest man and checked in with my daughter and I daily. They treat you as if you are their own family. Truly an amazing place all around. Beautiful view, great rooms. We will probably make this place an “annual trip”.

My 10yr old twins and I stayed here one night after a cruise before heading home to MA. It was such a little diamond! We got to the hotel way before check-in, but the woman at the front desk was amazing. Gave us the the Wi-Fi password, gave us towels, and a quick tour of the property. The kids and I sat by the pool comfortably, grabbed lunch at the amazing restaurant they have on site. The waitress that we had was so kind, calling us, all “love”, and just a sweetheart. The property is really pretty, and the beach was perfect. When we checked into our room, I was pleasantly surprised. It was bright open and spacious, and overlooked the ocean. I made a mental note that whenever we are in the area, this will be our hotel!

July 2025 Family vacation to see Morgan Wallen. We only stayed at this location 1 night, but it was the perfect location with the beach at your back door. They provide beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool was so relaxing and felt like an oasis. Only negative was a crib was requested at time of booking and it was not accommodated.

The property is in a quiet and great part of Lauderdal beach, with nearby restaurants and shopping malls. Best of all it’s right on the beach. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My go to places when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

This place is unassuming--the exterior looks more like a motel, but the interior is GREAT and could not have been better. The location is a bit further north of most of the crazy activity in FLD, so you'll get some actual peace and quiet. Having its own private beach is also amazing, and you walk right out of your hotel room and onto the beach--cannot beat that commute. We had an ocean view king suite and it was HUGE--bigger than some apartments I have lived in. The bed was comfy and the room was great. We loved our private balcony as well. The heated pool is nice too. If you're looking for your quiet little escape from the spring breakers, look no further!

I like that it was out of the way of the tourist areas. Much quieter. I love that is in on the beach. I restaurant was ok but with nothing close by I wish it was a bit bigger with more variety.

Loved being right on the beach - super-friendly staff and a bit away from the hub-bub of the busier areas north and south of us. Quiet, family/couple friendly with excellent food and service at the Sandbar Grill! Not much else within walking distance that we found [food/shopping], but easily accessible with an Uber/Lyft ride and worth the trade-off for a quieter and more peaceful beach experience! Will definitely return next time we are that way and HIGHLY recommend to others!

We loved everything about Sun Tower. The room and its view of the ocean were great. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Also recommend the restaurant, food was excellent and the seating is right by the water.

I enjoyed my weekend stay, the staff was very polite and helpful, it was convenient having the Sandbar restaurant on site. The staff works to maintain the property, which looks like it’s been updated in recent years. I would go again, I think because of the location is why it’s a bit pricey..

This property is right on the beach so that is why it got +2 stars. It also has an onsite restaurant that has good food. Pool was kept clean. Bed was decent. Staff was also nice. Problem is that it needs a major renovation. The bathroom in our suite was so small. Tiny little sink, old toilet, small shower and no vents for air conditioning to come in there, or in the little dressing area. Air conditioner unit was pretty loud and looked to be taped onto the wall. Elevator was extremely hot and slow. Pool is small but kept up nicely. Overall wouldn’t stay there again but if it gets fully renovated it would improve their chances for return guests. If you don’t care about the bathroom size and age you may like this place

I would give it 4.5 stars . When it comes to this hotel it is all about location and convenience . Literally situated on the sandy beach , you cannot go wrong if you are a beach lover ! The suites are large and all facing the ocean ! They have kitchenette with a fridge and microwave . The parking is available for a small fee (15 per night plus tax ) . As for the negatives : the hotel could benefit from some upgrade . The pool is small and not inviting ( to me that was not an issue since I was there for the ocean ) . Staff were overall nice except the ones at the restaurant downstairs . They can benefit from some retraining . The sandbar grill food was average and expensive overall . Cleaning services of the room could do a better job .

Overall, this hotel was ok. I have to be honest after reading so many positive reviews we did expect a little more out of this hotel. The first front desk agent we had the pleasure of checking us in was super friendly and outgoing. The resort fee which our stay was Thursday- Sunday check in at 3 pm check out at 11 and we did get charged for 4 days of resort fee even though we checked out at 9 am Sunday. The same goes with the parking. There essentially is no parking at this hotel so we paid a daily fee to park. This is a struggle as throughout our trip we had to basically fight or wait for a parking spot despite us paying DAILY for the parking spot. The location is great right on the beach however the small area of beach does fill up quickly and they do not clean the seaweed or sweep the beach daily. By Saturday there was so much seaweed you’d have to climb over it to get into the water. Lauderdale by the Sea beach is 5 minutes away and much nicer beach. The balcony is very small but nice to have. However, the hotel restaurant which is right under all the balconies constantly had the restaurant guest peaking up at the balconies and it’s really awkward when you're trying to relax in your hotel room. Despite all the positive reviews the restaurant at the hotel by far was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. There drinks contain barely no alcohol so you essential pay $15 for a cup of juice & the food was subpar.

The elevators were broken (I was notified, but only about 2 weeks prior, so didn't have time to find other accommodations). There are lot of repairs and updating going on starting at 8am and going through about 6pm. They asked to get into my room several times for cabling & wiring purposes. The stairways were cluttered most of the time. The beach and restaurant staff were great. The room had a great view of the ocean. I just wonder what this hotel would be like staying when everything is complete.

Property was clean and nicely landscaped. Great view of the beach from the balcony in our room. The restaurant/bar had great service and good food. Our room was on the third floor. Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues as the elevator was not in working condition. It appeared as though it had not been working for some time. Transporting luggage to our room was not fun.

Unable to reserve the "reserved" area of the hotel for a small after-wedding group. Pool closes at 8pm, before it is even dark out. Restaurant is too expensive for the quality of food. First room had a massive leak in the bathroom sink and we had to be moved to a different room on a lower floor.
