Smaller room as I expected as a Japanese Hotel room. Nice and clean. The location was perfect for people with large luggage because it was within one minute's walk, adjacent to the station. Still, it was very quiet. Large TV screen to watch whatever you want. Amenity was in the lobby to hunt such as toothbrushes, hair brushes, razors, etc. Check-in was a bit confusing for us because it was self-check-in with the computer screen but a staff was there to help.

部屋は普通ですが駅に隣接なのでビジネスでの利用でとても満足しました。洗濯乾燥機も高性能のものがあるので長期滞在にはおすすめです。ホテルにレストランはありませんが周辺には飲食店が多いので楽しめます。

The hotel was good. It was clean modern and well connected to transport making it easy to get around. Our room was literally overlooking the train station and could barely hear anything. The room was small by Australian standards for sure but the bed was a double for my son and I to share comfortably. We were able to have both our cases open as well without using the bed as a little bench is provided. Lots of bathroom amenities available on reception floor. We went to Dennys for breakfast the first day but honestly can pick up a cheaper and better breakfast elsewhere The staff were helpful enough with limited English. We arrived early morning so it was a little annoying to be told we’d have to pay extra if we wanted the room earlier so we left our luggage in storage and powered through til 3pm which may have been for the best as it got us out exploring from the get go. The Koenji area was nice and chill with more locals than foreigners with cheaper food options, many interesting stores however less English. I would stay in the area again as couldn’t justify paying double for a smaller room in Shibuya or Shinjuku etc.

チェックアウト後に忘れ物に気付き引き返しました。フロントの方が親切に対応くださり、忘れ物も見つかりました。忘れ物で気持ちが落ち込んでドキドキしていたところ、丁寧な対応で私の気持ちも落ち着き、とても感謝しています。交通の利便性が良い点もとても良いところです。

I loved how clean and convenient the hotel was. The area is lovely, and fromt he hotel, you can get anywhere easily. The stuff was very helpful and friendly, with one exception: I specifically asked upon my arrival when I should sent my luggage to the airport to get it there in time for my flight. My flight was Friday afternoon, so I asked if Thursday afternoon would be fine. I was emphatically told that I should send it Thursday morning. Wednesday evening I go to arrange my luggage delivery: I am told it is too late and that I should have sent it 48 hours before the departure time (this was 6:30 PM on Wednesday, my departure was 5:35 PM on Friday). It was explained away as miscommunication, because we were speaking Japanese (I teach college level Japanese, so I can at the very least understand dates and time). I would recommend the hotel display clear information on their "takyuubin" service: non-Japanese guests might need to know that Yamato only picks up airport deliveries 48 h prior to desired pick-up time.

お部屋も清潔でアップグレードしていただきました。お水も2本ついていて嬉しかったです。ブランケットやヘアアイロンなどの注文の対応もすぐにしてくれました。またタクシーの手配を手こずっていたのですが、スタッフの方が丁寧に何度も対応してくださって本当に助かりました。また泊まりたいと思います。

The best location, literally right outside the subway station! Great place to stay if you want to be away from the busy areas but still be accessible. Room itself was quite spacious for Tokyo, a nice plus.

The hotel was good. It was clean modern and well connected to transport making it easy to get around. Our room was literally overlooking the train station and could barely hear anything. The room was small by Australian standards for sure but the bed was a double for my son and I to share comfortably. We were able to have both our cases open as well without using the bed as a little bench is provided. Lots of bathroom amenities available on reception floor. We went to Dennys for breakfast the first day but honestly can pick up a cheaper and better breakfast elsewhere The staff were helpful enough with limited English. We arrived early morning so it was a little annoying to be told we’d have to pay extra if we wanted the room earlier so we left our luggage in storage and powered through til 3pm which may have been for the best as it got us out exploring from the get go. The Koenji area was nice and chill with more locals than foreigners with cheaper food options, many interesting stores however less English. I would stay in the area again as couldn’t justify paying double for a smaller room in Shibuya or Shinjuku etc.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel direkt an der Bahnstation Koenji, unser Zimmer (4Nächte) nach vorne raus war sehr leise, von der Bahn war gar nichts zu hören und vom Verkehr kaum etwas, zudem war es ausreichend groß, man konnte einen großen Reisekoffer aufgeklappt liegen lassen und auch dran vorbei gehen, die Ausstattung war komplett, selbst ein USB Lader mit allen gängigen Adaptern war vorhanden, ein bisschen den Eindruck getrübt hat der defekte Lüfter im Bad und das nicht zu öffnende Fenster, schenken kann man sich das Zimmer mit Frühstück zu buchen, denn dabei handelt es sich um eine externe Küche welche sich unten im Hotel befindet die auch für nicht Hotelgäste zugänglich ist, durch den Gutschein vom Hotel hat man auch nur eine sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Menue‘s was evtl nicht jedermanns Sache ist, man kann diese Menue’s für knapp 10€ umgerechnet selber bestellen oder geht in weniger als 5 min zu mehreren anderen umliegenden kleinen Cafe‘s oder Restaurants und frühstückt dort

This hotel is conveniently located and has a nice staff. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The housekeepers left us a clean set of pajamas every day, which added a spa touch. Loved the onsite Denny’s for meals!

This hotel was perfect! Great size, great amenities and SO SO quiet. Considering you are right above a train station, I can't believe you can't hear a thing. And the doors on the hotel rooms close so quietly. Located right above the Koenji station, it's the perfect location. We loved Koenji when we came to Japan last time so naturally, we wanted to stay in Koenji again. It's a small town, family community and it's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The staff was so friendly and helpful. After checking in they have all the amenities there near reception that you can take to your room. You name it they have it. There's free coffee and tea. Stuff for bath, face wash, hair brush, hair ties, razors and the list goes on. So thoughtful! The rooms are a great size considering Japan sized rooms. I had the room for 1 person and it was perfect. You can set your cleaning days and what type of cleaning you want all from the tv! I will definitely stay here again.
