We were VERY disappointed/ frustrated to find out we needed to pay a $100.00 cash deposit before they would let us in the building!!! This is something that customers should be notified of BEFORE making a reservation!!!!!!! Also, we arrived in the evening (10:30) and the man and woman at the check in weren’t very friendly or welcoming. Also, we were put in a room on the second floor and there wasn’t an elevator! We are 70 years old and carrying our luggage up a flight of steps is difficult for both of us!

They required a $100 CASH damage deposit, which you are not notified of until you get there. Very inconvenient to have to find an atm to get cash just to check in. Shower curtain rod was barely attached to the wall and hanging down. Shower head was loose. Bath faucet was loose. Toilet seat was loose. There was a hole in the bathroom door that was patched but not painted. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and marijuana. Will not stay at a Coratel again.

Filthy, bugs, hair and garbage all behind bathroom door, water stunk, whole place smelled like cigarettes. Someone banged on our room window within an hour of checking in. My family and I wouldn't even sleep under the covers because of how dirty the place was.

We were there for 1 night. Rooms were nice and clean. Hallways were smelly. Not the greatest, but stay for 1 night worked for us as we didn't want to spend too much money. Good mall nearby with Costco, lots of restaurants, etc.

Had a nice quiet evening there. Felt safe with key required to access building. Check-in was very quick and easy. Most of all bed was comfortable. I would choose to stay here again.

Very clean, but has quirks. You could tell the property is old, but cozy. Hot water is excellent, but it takes about 10 minutes to warm up. Once it does though, it's HOT.

Room was clean (floors, sinks, restroom), with the exception of towels and some bed linens which were badly stained and poor quality. Some even had hairs on them. Mattress was comfortable, but pillows were not. Walls are thin, you can hear the tv ans people talking on the other rooms. You gotta give $100 CASH ONLY deposit!

Except for the lousy plumbing (the water in the sink was backward, the shower head and spigot was loose and the sink dirty, the people who ran the place were ripoffs and barely polite... the room was ok considering the price.

100 cash deposit, check in from entryway under glass window slot. Coffee machine out of order. Fridge tippy, ice bucket cracked, weird spackled shower and had soap scum mark, no tub plug, latch lock for security broken...I could go on but you get the point. That being said, they clearly have started updating rooms. Carpet, bedding, closet and vanity areas. Nice leather recliner and large tv and mirror. Clean sheets. For the price... worth it.

There was nothing nice about this place. Had stayed when it was The Asteria and it was nice. The front desk lady was crabby, and should not be in HOSPITALITY. she was rude and aggressive. The room was dirty with boogered walls, toenail clippings, cigarette burns on the bedding. We brought our own cleaning supplies because it was so filthy. There were no towels, brought our own. The same front desk woman also was aggressive about giving back the $100 cash deposit. Sadly had to stay there because was the only place affordable that was available. And up here to train for work. You get what you pay for.

The room has been cleaned but not thoroughly. The bed was comfortable. The most uncomfortable part was check-in. I had to stand outside the lobby and hand over $100 cash deposit through a high security window before I was allowed to enter the hotel at all. This felt quite uncomfortable late at night. The door to the lobby was locked and I could not get in until I had my key card. I did not feel entirely safe, even though the neighborhood appeared to be safe. The level of security made me think the area or the hotel wasn’t safe. But by then it was too late at night, and I didn’t wanna lose my prepaid hotel room. Fortunately, the room was quiet.

I normally don’t do reviews, but I feel the need to give feedback to help others. First off, I was required to pay cash deposit. Most hotels do a card hold. I actually had cash on hand but normally do not. The staff were rude. The both had attitudes and acted like it was an inconvenience that we stayed there. The hotel smelled like weed and cigarette smoke throughout the whole hotel. There was never anyone at the front desk working. My shower/tub had a leak and dripped non stop. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's close to the freeway (but without noise) and within a mile or two of a variety of shopping and dining. It'd be a 5-star rating if breakfast were offered. I would definitely stay here again.

Would not stay here again! Supposed to be non-smoking - signs everywhere but the entire hotel reaked like cigarettes and pot. Expedia says breakfast included but apparently they haven’t served breakfast in 8 yéars. Even the free coffee was unavailable. Bathroom door knob was falling off and door dragged on the floor so it was difficult to open and close. Very unhappy

If you just need a place to crash for the night the cost is great. Don't expect any extras. Very few outlets to plug anything more than your cellphone and laptop. I hope you don't need to see where you are shaving in the mirror at the vanity. Coffee maker said out of order but I think it is always like that. It was clean and I slept well for the 6 1/2 hours! Oh yea...You need to make a $100 cash deposit at this place. So if you don't carry cash don't book through hotels.com you won't be able to stay there without the deposit. I did receive my $100 back in the morning.

This property was far below our expectations for an Expedia partner. There was no coffee nor coffee maker. The excuse was that they had been waiting for parts for their Bunn coffee maker, but why wouldn't they have made other arrangements. We have never had a motel/hotel that didn't have a coffee maker in the room. The room was so bare of amenities that it looked like they were afraid guests would steal items (or they had already experienced that; however, the property was not in a questionable area). The towels were not just thin, they were thread bare and unraveling and no extras - and just one hand towel for two of us. There was no clock. There was no tissue. Although there were both a refrigerator and a microwave, the microwave didn't have power until I wiggled the cords and the power came on. We did have cable TV, the only real amenity we could enjoy. I would rate this below the Motel 6 we once stayed in and determined we would not do that again. I would not recommend this lodging for future guests.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. It's close to the freeway (but without noise) and within a mile or two of a variety of shopping and dining. It'd be a 5-star rating if breakfast were offered. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean but a little congested for two beds. Hallway was full of cigarettes smoke smell and there was no water fountain or kitchen or a place where we could get drinking water. The guy on the phone sounded like a robot answering machine with no empathy. Parking was ample and the location was excellent though. Overall our one night stay as a family with two kids was OKAY. Thanks
