My family spent the long Memorial Day weekend at On the Rocks. The house and our visit exceeded expectations. The location is at the end of a long street, very close to the water, but still feels quiet and private. The outdoor space at this house is incredible and we enjoyed the multiple decks, the deck seating and the hot tub which was an added bonus on a cool night. The property comes fully stocked with everything you could need from wine and beer glasses to kayaks, bikes and cornhole. Perfect place for our family to unwind together and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great stay at On the Rocks! My adult children and their significant others loved the large yard for playing games, the pool for cooling off, and kayaks and paddle board for relaxing in the water. The garage was well stocked with games, floats, pumps, etc. We brought a few of our own bikes, but we also used a few of the many bikes in the garage. My husband loved grilling for the family. There was plenty of propane. The grill needed to be cleaned inside, but it didn't take long to do. The kitchen was well stocked. There were also more towels than we could ever use. We did bring our own pool towels. The kids all were comfortable in their beds, but my husband I struggled in the master bed. The room is beautiful, but the mattress was creaky and uncomfortable. Our only other issue was the sliding doors. While they offered an absolutely amazing view, they were SO hard to open and close. Even the big, strong men in our family struggles. Overall, the property offered so many amenities in such a beautiful setting, that we all were able to relax and have a great time!

We had an awesome time at the property. The pool and jacuzzi are great for the family to play together. The house has board games and toys for the little ones, plus bikes to explore the little town. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at On The Rocks was amazing! The house was exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly. The view from anywhere inside and outside of the house was awesome. Though, as retirees, we didn’t take full advantage of all of the amenities, the pool and hot tub were very refreshing and we enjoyed some friendly though competitive corn hole games as well. The fish were jumping near the private pier and biting during our chartered fishing excursion with Captain Chuck from Bayside Girls Charter. We enjoyed several excellent meals at surrounding restaurants especially Harbor Shack (twice!). And Diane, our host, was very responsive to all of our communications and kept the entire process stress-free! My only negative (personal) experience was that the lovely king sized bed was a bit soft for my liking but the rest of the amenities certainly made up for it! Thank you, again, for sharing this wonderful home with us. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at On The Rocks. The secluded location was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sunset views while relaxing in the hot tub. Having a private dock was great for kayaking and crabbing. The downstairs space was very open and provided enough seating for our group of 10! We enjoyed the garage full of activities including a volleyball net, bikes, kayaks and so much more. We appreciated the sand toys and umbrella for the kids when we drove to the beach (only 4 minute drive, was super cute and family friendly). On The Rocks is a very accommodating rental! The pool and hot tub were relaxing, use of kayaks and paddle board was amazing, and the pier was huge. The back yard was perfect for our family wiffle ball game. Hammocks were very comfy. Inside, the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and everything was clean. We will be back!

We didn’t want to leave after a long weekend! Great view of the bay ! Everything there for you! We fished on the private dock , kayaked ! Then relaxed in the pool and hot tub!! Corn hole , bikes.. the list goes on .. very private , great wildlife to see!! Can’t wait to come back !!

We've been visiting Rock Hall for years. This house is our favorite. It's got everything you need to have the perfect eastern shore experience... Bikes, kayaks, fishing gear. We visited in July when the temps were in the 90's so the pool was key! We would definitely come back.

We just had a great stay at Rock Hall and On the Rocks provided everything we needed for the family. We took advantage of the pool, kayaks, paddleboard, crabbing equipment, bikes and more! We walked into town every morning for coffee and enjoyed the nearby restaurants for takeout. Rock Hall is a sleepy town in June with a lot of the stores and restaurant not opening during the week, but this did not bother us one bit. Our grandchildren are young, so we did not need much going on outside of our place. Diane the property manager is great and responsive. Sunsets are beautiful from the property, and we loved having the private dock. I arranged for a photographer to come and take family photos one night and the scenery was amazing with the marina as the backdrop.

We are natives to the area and were there visiting family. The property has a beautiful water / marina view. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The backyard is huge and well landscaped. There were countless recreational toys - bikes, kayaks, etc. The kitchen is well equipped. The living and kitchen / dining area is open and accommodating. All appliances were newer and worked well. There are no closets, but there are plenty of dressers. You have to bring your own sheets. Diane responded immediately to all questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at On the Rocks for 5 days. A great location on the water with a nice long pier for crabbing, fishing, and watching the boats go by. The kayaks were great. The extended house was clean and up to date regarding plumbing and fixtures. The pool was a little to cool but the hot tub was great. We had a great experience.

The house was as listed, kitchen had everything except a blender. The sliding door to deck was a heavy beast to open, 2 hands and pull hard, we contacted owner, they came and applied silicone spray which did not help, the children could not open at all, this made it less desirable for sure. If this issue could be fixed, awesome! The garage had lots of outdoor activities-canoe, kayak, fishing supplies, paddleboard, bikes. It was perfect except for the door.

We loved our stay at On The Rocks. The secluded location was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sunset views while relaxing in the hot tub. Having a private dock was great for kayaking and crabbing. The downstairs space was very open and provided enough seating for our group of 10! We enjoyed the garage full of activities including a volleyball net, bikes, kayaks and so much more. We appreciated the sand toys and umbrella for the kids when we drove to the beach (only 4 minute drive, was super cute and family friendly). The locals are very nice and we felt welcomed wherever we went. The only small quirk is because it's an old house the top floor bedrooms and showers are not very tall. We had one person in our group over 6 foot and showering was a bit difficult but doable! Overall an amazing place to stay!

On The Rocks is a very accommodating rental! The pool and hot tub were relaxing, use of kayaks and paddle board was amazing, and the pier was huge. The back yard was perfect for our family wiffle ball game. Hammocks were very comfy. Inside, the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and everything was clean. We will be back!

Our stay was incredible! The house is beautiful, it is super spacious with tons of perfect places to congregate and hang out. The rooms were all extremely comfortable and the beds had high quality mattresses that made sleeping so enjoyable. The views and sunsets were spectacular and our group loved spending our evenings enjoying the hot tub. The house’s location is perfect as it is not only right on the water but it’s just under one mile from the (albeit super tiny) town of Rock Hall. I’d love to come back here in the future as this was such an awesome place to stay! Also it comes stocked with amenities that you might need such as towels and tons of baked games and puzzles!

We are natives to the area and were there visiting family. The property has a beautiful water / marina view. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The backyard is huge and well landscaped. There were countless recreational toys - bikes, kayaks, etc. The kitchen is well equipped. The living and kitchen / dining area is open and accommodating. All appliances were newer and worked well. There are no closets, but there are plenty of dressers. You have to bring your own sheets. Diane responded immediately to all questions. We enjoyed our stay.

Due to a winter storm we were unfortunately unable to stay more than one night/ The property manager was always available And tried to accommodate us in a terrible storm. We will be returning in the summer to take advantage of all the great outdoor amenities!

Our stay at On The Rocks was amazing! The house was exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly. The view from anywhere inside and outside of the house was awesome. Though, as retirees, we didn’t take full advantage of all of the amenities, the pool and hot tub were very refreshing and we enjoyed some friendly though competitive corn hole games as well. The fish were jumping near the private pier and biting during our chartered fishing excursion with Captain Chuck from Bayside Girls Charter. We enjoyed several excellent meals at surrounding restaurants especially Harbor Shack (twice!). And Diane, our host, was very responsive to all of our communications and kept the entire process stress-free! My only negative (personal) experience was that the lovely king sized bed was a bit soft for my liking but the rest of the amenities certainly made up for it! Thank you, again, for sharing this wonderful home with us. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

The house was as listed, kitchen had everything except a blender. The sliding door to deck was a heavy beast to open, 2 hands and pull hard, we contacted owner, they came and applied silicone spray which did not help, the children could not open at all, this made it less desirable for sure. If this issue could be fixed, awesome! The garage had lots of outdoor activities-canoe, kayak, fishing supplies, paddleboard, bikes. It was perfect except for the door.

We just had a great stay at Rock Hall and On the Rocks provided everything we needed for the family. We took advantage of the pool, kayaks, paddleboard, crabbing equipment, bikes and more! Rock Hall is a sleepy town in June with a lot of the stores and restaurant not opening during the week, but this did not bother us one bit. Our grandchildren are young, so we did not need much going on outside of our place. Diane the property manager is great and responsive. I arranged for a photographer to come and take family photos one night and the scenery was amazing with the marina as the backdrop.

This was exactly what we needed. Although this was our vacation, my wife and I did work a few times. This place was suitable for both. I also brought my own kayak, but they were also well equipped for those that didn't want to bring something like that. Everything in the community was easily accessible too which was a plus and something I forgot to check in advance. I strongly encourage individuals, families or whomever to stay here as you will be pleased.

My family spent the long Memorial Day weekend at On the Rocks. The house and our visit exceeded expectations. The location is at the end of a long street, very close to the water, but still feels quiet and private. The outdoor space at this house is incredible and we enjoyed the multiple decks, the deck seating and the hot tub which was an added bonus on a cool night. The property comes fully stocked with everything you could need from wine and beer glasses to kayaks, bikes and cornhole. Perfect place for our family to unwind together and enjoy beautiful sunsets. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great stay at On the Rocks! My adult children and their significant others loved the large yard for playing games, the pool for cooling off, and kayaks and paddle board for relaxing in the water. The garage was well stocked with games, floats, pumps, etc. We brought a few of our own bikes, but we also used a few of the many bikes in the garage. My husband loved grilling for the family. There was plenty of propane. The grill needed to be cleaned inside, but it didn't take long to do. The kitchen was well stocked. There were also more towels than we could ever use. We did bring our own pool towels. The kids all were comfortable in their beds, but my husband I struggled in the master bed. The room is beautiful, but the mattress was creaky and uncomfortable. Our only other issue was the sliding doors. While they offered an absolutely amazing view, they were SO hard to open and close. Even the big, strong men in our family struggles. Overall, the property offered so many amenities in such a beautiful setting, that we all were able to relax and have a great time!

Second year staying in On the Rocks! The family had a great time again. Easy walks in the morning for coffee at Java Rock. Great seafood at plenty of restaurants. We all enjoyed the pool, kayaking and bike rides but the best part is the views and sunsets. We also enjoyed the fire pit each night after the kids went to bed. Great family vacation spot.

Rock Hall is a sleepy town in June with a lot of the stores and restaurant not opening during the week, but this did not bother us one bit. Our grandchildren are young, so we did not need much going on outside of our place. Diane the property manager is great and responsive. Sunsets are beautiful from the property, and we loved having the private dock. I arranged for a photographer to come and take family photos one night and the scenery was amazing with the marina as the backdrop.
We just had a great stay at Rock Hall and On the Rocks provided everything we needed for the family. We took advantage of the pool, kayaks, paddleboard, crabbing equipment, bikes and more! We walked into town every morning for coffee and enjoyed the nearby restaurants for takeout. We have rented VRBO properties before so we have a frame of reference for what we like. This beautiful property exceeded our expectations 😊 We hope to book this again for our vacation. Thanks very much to owners for their generosity in sharing this home.

The house and property was beautiful. The weather could have been better but we still got to use the Hot tub. The small town was easy to walk or take a bike too. The dock was great for fishing and crabbing. My grandson loved it. Also both my grandchildren loved the Kyating. The dog loved the property for running and swimming. It was a great experience.

Little slice of heaven on the Chesapeake. Great long weekend getaway with our 2 college age kids! Excellent location! Great for family getaway with kids of all ages! Walkable/short bike ride into town! Fantastic property! Great communication with host! Property exactly as appears on line! Well stocked kitchen! Grill on back deck . Comfortable beds! Great assortment of board games/backyard games /water toys! Fishing was great right off the dock! A little too early in the season for crabbing but crab traps as well! Took the kayaks out of the cove and into the bay! So fun ! Sunset views from hot tub and back deck amazing!!We will definitely be back !

Great stay for a long weekend, with lots of amenities like fishing poles, and kayaks. The tide rises so be careful leaving anything near the water. We accidentally lost a kayak but the owner was very gracious in posting on the neighborhood app to help find it. The pool wasn't open when we were there, as we weren't in season, but we enjoyed the hot tub and yard. Adorable town with friendly people. The house was clean, and had the tvs set up with all the apps. You can tap to get on the wifi which was a nice convenience. Overall a great trip and host.
