spent 4 days mid October at the Saguaro. The rooms are simple but clean, bed was very comfortable. Loved the pool, wasn't busy at all so could enjoy a day bed. Pool was clean. Love that they have bicycles that you can use to whip around . Great location with a few shops closeby. Would recommend.

Fun times with family and friends. Poolside service was impeccable. Front desk was always lovely. There are a few pool floats but always a good idea to bring your own (shout out to the friendly and professional pool bar staff who can assist you with inflating it) two hot tubs (one warm and one hot). Water dispenser in the lobby, mattress is on the soft and cushiony side. Note to management: please fix the ice machines upstairs!

We have stayed here for several years over Memorial Day Weekend for their pool party. Typically we have a great time. This year there were so many children it was impossible to enjoy ourselves they would splash everyone in the pool and took over both hot tubs the entire weekend. We also noticed that the property itself is becoming run down and worn looking. Pool daybeds are rusty and dirty, the rooms are also starting to show signs of wear. We placed the card in the door for room service but they never showed up during our stay. We have always loved the Saguaro but unless they invest some money into the property and make Memorial Day weekend adults only we won’t be back

The hotel is decent overall, but it’s clear that maintenance and upkeep have declined since my last visit in 2019. The room itself was clean, but the carpet was heavily stained. During my stay, the power went out, and it took two days for the WiFi to be restored. Daily housekeeping wasn’t available due to staffing shortages, and the pool equipment appeared very worn and in need of serious updates.

I absolutely loved the hotel and my stay but my low ratings are due to the fact there was hair in my shower when I first came in the room, I easily just rinsed it down the drain but still an easy spot that housekeeping should have done a better job at cleaning. My main overly low rating is due to the fact there was no warning the pool would be closed at 3pm one of the days of my stay and not open til the following day. Not only did the pool close at 3 the previous day they had to start moving the pool chairs and day beds out of the pool area for the event. After moving majority of stuff out, I’m assuming after many complaints they started to put some chairs / day beds back for people to lounge on. At this point they had asked me to moved like 3 times I ended up laying in the grass on the floor that entire day and next day or at least while the pool was open until it closed at 3pm for the event. I completely understand it being Coachella and hosting events at the hotel I also am in the service industry but their should have been some sort of announcement on there website stating the event and what came with it such as the pool being closed early one day, and chairs being taken out of the pool area a day prior, like I said i understand it being Coachella but I myself was not there for that as were many other families not there for that during the week and there to relax by the pool for the week and enjoy the hotel amenities which felt cut short for some.

The property was close to downtown shops and restaurants. Although not walkable, the hotel has bikes available. The room was clean; however the exterior walkways and interior hallways were often dirty. The overall appearance of the property is fair. On Saturday afternoon, a DJ plays at the pool, so don’t expect a quiet afternoon at the pool or in your room.

I loved the vibe of the hotel and pool but the property is rundown and needs a facelift. Good parking, decent food and drinks. The DJ at the pool on Saturday played EDM dance music way, way too loud! People left because of it - you couldn’t nap, read and talk - to f—-kin loud! Weight room was missing dumbbells from 3lbs-20 lbs too I like the vibe but needs updates

Randy at the front desk was courteous and helpful. Our room was ready early so we got to start enjoying our stay. The pool area was fun and lively. There was a shortage of pool towels, but that was soon remedied. The bartenders were cordial considering how busy they were. The complimentary margarita was made well. The mattress was comfortable. Parking was easy at check in, but upon returning about 11:00, the spots were all taken. For some reason, there was " caution" tape along the back parking lot rows. The food from El Jefe ( the chicken nachos) was more than plenty for two, and delicious. I would defintely come back to Saguaro in the future.

The staff was nice, especially considering how dirty our room was. The bathrooms didn't look like they were cleaned very well before our arrival, but even after a "thorough" cleaning they still seemed dirty. We were in a suite and the futon that was considered our 3rd bed was so rickety and uncomfortable we barely wanted to sit on it, even less sleep on it. They were very accommodating when we asked for the room to be cleaned better, but I think it's just the current state of the hotel.

Staff was curteous, room smelled musty, bathroom was somewhat clean, carpet in room was heavily stained. Hallways are scary. They need better indicators as to where the ice is. Room was well equipped, location is good and price was reasonable. Property is tired and in need of renovation.

SO run down… the website is very deceiving! The pool was old and rusted! Our room was old and the bathroom was filthy! I don’t even think the room was cleaned! Lights didn’t work in our room And the water tasted disgusting on the whole property! SO disappointed! Would not stay here again!

This place was GROSS. Not worth the money. They make it look all nice in the lobby but when you start going to your room that's when you realize how NASTY this place is. The walkway to the elevator to my room was through the maintenance hallway where all the DIRTY TOWELS are just piled up by the door. Then you get to walking to your room and you notice the STAINED disgusting carpet all the way down. Dust layers lining the corners. Inside the room, the carpet is stained, the tables are stained and aren't cleaned, the bed sheets are stained and aren't cleaned, the walls are CRACKED and stained. They try to distract you with 1 orange painted wall and some bathrobes. Then, to top it all off, the light switches don't work. The bathroom light only stays on for 20 seconds and then switches off due to faulty wiring. OR it stays on and won't turn off unless you hold the switch down but as soon as you let go it goes on again. I left within a half hour of getting there. I was offered a room upgrade but if the hallways are any indication of the rest of the building, NO THANK YOU. No amount of free margarita vouchers is worth me putting up with bad hygiene. After driving across 3 states to finish my vacation, I drove another 2 hours straight home.

Paid extra for a pool view, got room 211 with an awning blocking the pool. Our A/C was sooo loud all night making a horrible humming sound. Stains on bed sheet and stains on headboard. The bathroom was dirty. The only hype was the colorful walls and pool area. Otherwise this was the most dingy and worse hotel we’ve stayed at in Palm Springs.

The lobby and bar were beautiful but the rooms were dirty and out dated we found a cockroach in our shower and since they were at full capacity we weren’t able to be moved. We were given $50

Beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was old and not remodeled to match the bright room colors. The Room was a little disappointing compared to the pictures on the website. The other guests were loud all night long.

I specifically requested an exterior facing room when booking and confirmed it via email with the hotel prior to arriving. When I checked in, the desk agent asked me if there was a specific request with my room. I reiterated that I had requested an exterior facing room. Despite this, I was given an interior room facing the pool. There is zero ability to nap or relax in those rooms during the day with the DJ and noise from the pool. Not remotely peaceful.

The bright colored exterior and rooms remind me of the 70’s. Pool was excellent and clean. I used it at night. DJ played music from 12? To 5 pm on weekend, difficult to rest. We had no housekeeping the 4 days we were there but we didn’t need it. Called and got towels. Beds were comfortable and beautiful view of mountains.

Our weeklong stay was ok. The walls are EXTREMELY THIN, and the doors have wide gaps, which makes for a very noisy stay. We endured music blaring, a domestic dispute, girls who couldn't figure out how to count (looking for another room # on the same floor) and an "after last call wind down." The rooms, though very bright and colorful, need to be updated and thoroughly cleaned. The bed was decently comfortable. The pool area was the saving grace of the whole stay. When we did interact with staff, it was always pleasant. If you're looking for a party hotel and don't mind late nights, this is the place for you. If you're looking for a place to get away and relax, maybe not so much.

This was my return/2nd visit to the property and after a few unfavorable incidents on the first visit, was assured I would be upgraded to a room with a pool view if I was to return and give the property another try. I was given a room (312) that overlooked the canopy roof that covers the pool bar and it’s refrigeration systems - no pool in the view whatsoever. The USB outlets in the bedside table on the right side of the bed, closest to the bathroom do not work and the energy efficient/in reality deficient, motion detected light in the ceiling by the closet is malfunctioning and would turn on and off constantly during the night while trying to sleep. I have taken photos of these items if you would like them for reference in order to address them.

Cute room. I liked that they gave you a bunch of food and filled up the fridge with drinks. Fridge was so full that I barley found room for the 2 jello cups I wanted to put in there. If any of it is missing they will bill you for it. No Microwave in the room and not one in the front office. The restaurant onsite was good! Expensive but good! We stayed on the 2nd floor and can hear people above us walking around .

As the hotel had an element of swank, the room was less than desirable, the walls and floors of the bathroom were dirty, the mirror in the bathroom needed to be replaced. I understand an eco friendly environment but the room was not cleaned for the 2 day stay. The front desk attendant upon registration was cold and seemed bothered by my presence. Upon departure the hotel receptionist was also cold and dismissive. The bar staff at EL Jefe was extremely attentive, courteous and welcoming.

First time staying here and I feel like coming back. The hotel is a cute vibe, loved the pool and the restaurant. The food was delicious, I had lunch and breakfast and everything was amazing. Alejandro was very informative when I checked in and the staff were very chill and nice. Already thinking about coming again for Coachella next year and I think it’ll be my go to hotel whenever I go to Palm Springs.

Randy at the front desk was courteous and helpful. Our room was ready early so we got to start enjoying our stay. The pool area was fun and lively. There was a shortage of pool towels, but that was soon remedied. The bartenders were cordial considering how busy they were. The complimentary margarita was made well. The mattress was comfortable. Parking was easy at check in, but upon returning about 11:00, the spots were all taken. For some reason, there was " caution" tape along the back parking lot rows. The food from El Jefe ( the chicken nachos) was more than plenty for two, and delicious. I would defintely come back to Saguaro in the future.

The food and the pool were great. If you don’t care about anything else during your vacation, this is an okay place to stay. However, if you’re expecting more than a bed, do not book. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful instagram and marketing pictures. First off, it seems like everyone who worked the front desk there during our stay hates their job. You would think they’re being forced to work here for community service with how unfriendly and unhelpful they are. We had a few questions regarding the pool and bikes and were made to feel uncomfortable for daring to ask. Secondly, the rooms are a bit rough. We had paint chipping and peeling everywhere in the room. The shower had zero to no water pressure and the carpeting was worn out. It felt and looked outdated. The bed was comfortable. I will give them that. The resort fees for this hotel were steep and the price we paid for the full stay felt overpriced. The amenities do not match the value.

We have stayed here a couple of other times and this time was a mess. We were not able to check in until 5:30, when check in is at 4. Apparently they had a couple of big groups and were not able to manage the cleaning of the rooms for new guests. The air in our room did not work and we did not notice until about midnight and were out of luck by then. The sink in our bathroom dropped all night as well. Randy at the front desk was helpful, heard my complaints and made me feel he was actually apologetic for the stay.

Great value! El Jefe restaurant on site is very good as well. Free parking was a nice bonus. Room was large and private balcony was great to have. Free bikes for borrowing very convenient.

The property was close to downtown shops and restaurants. Although not walkable, the hotel has bikes available. The room was clean; however the exterior walkways and interior hallways were often dirty. The overall appearance of the property is fair. On Saturday afternoon, a DJ plays at the pool, so don’t expect a quiet afternoon at the pool or in your room.

Cutest pool area! Great to have two hot tubs. Very cute vibe. Randy at front desk was very helpful. Enjoyed having bikes to be able to take out to explore area. Convenient drive to basically everything we wanted to do. My only issue with the stay at all was that the rooms were not very noise-proof--loud door slamming and could hear people coming in late leaving early. We were there at a quite time of year so I can imagine when the hotel is full it could be quite loud as you were trying to sleep.

We had a great time and would definitely stay again. The room service was fast and tasted fresh from their onsite restaurant. 4 stars overall because our room could've been cleaner and better maintained. There was a dead roach hanging from our bathroom exhaust vent, but we were able to stick a toockpick in there and dislodge it into a trash can. Not exactly something I wanted to do on vacation, but the 1st floor patio with instant pool access and cute themes and colors all around the property made up for our room being slightly untidy.

This is the second time staying at the hotel. All was great except the in room dining this morning for breakfast! They brought our meals in to go boxes! Come to find out they ran out of plates. Very disappointed. At check out we told the front desert person and luckily she said they’d remove the charge.

Paint is chipped, rooms are sparse of furniture, lots of rust and decay. The key card system is almost unusable! If you put your room key ANYWHERE near and electronic, it is erased! We had to get new keys twice a day for our whole stay. AC units are noisy, so you can’t keep you window open. We were there mid week, the pool bar was closed the whole time (yet outside beverages are not allowed) pool towels are small and old, not even the water containers were filled. They charge $500 for a cabana, which is frankly a joke! Location is great and with a little love, it could be a great hotel.

The location for us was great! You could walk across the street to Ralph’s for floaties and booze and to several different brunch spots! A Uber got you to the main drag if you wanted to go. Check in was smooth and our rooms were ready early. The Drag Brunch was super fun and the Saturday pool party was awesome! The toilet paper is HORRIBLE and they nickel and dime you on the mini bar so BE CAREFUL. We noticed things weren’t the same between rooms and then one room was charged for things unknown bc there’s no breakdown sent.

The hotel interior, at least in the rooms and hallways, is in need of a newer paint job. Things just look grimy. The pool area is very nice, although the pool bartender would go missing for a while leaving people to stand and wait for their “nothing lower than 14 dollar” drinks. Also, my friend and I bought coffee, regular drip coffee, on two different mornings in the Jefe restaurant. One day we were charged 13 dollars, the other 8 dollars for the exact same order… that was a little suspicious. We were told we would only get housekeeping if we requested it. We were fine without it for our short stay, However, twice they cleaned our room while we were out, but we had not requested it. A clean room is great, but we would not have left out some of our personal items had we known they would enter our room. We also took advantage of the spa and got facials. We were maybe 5-7 minutes late for our appointment if that and one of the clinicians was very rude about it. I can’t believe one adult would talk to another adult like she was a child because “ they have a schedule with back to back clients and so our session would be cut short… we were to arrive at 2:30, as she pointed to a time on our paperwork and continued to “ slap my hand” verbally. I am fine with our session being cut short, we were late, that is on us, but don’t come at me like I am a toddler and treat me like I am stupid. I was very taken aback. The hotel interior, at least in the rooms and hallways, is in need of a newer paint job. Things just look grimy. The pool area is very nice, although the pool bartender would go missing for a while leaving people to stand and wait for their “nothing lower than 14 dollar” drinks. Also, my friend and I bought coffee, regular drip coffee, on two different mornings in the Jefe restaurant. One day we were charged 13 dollars, the other 8 dollars for the exact same order… that was a little suspicious. We were told we would only get housekeeping if we requested it. We were fine without it for our short stay, However, twice they cleaned our room while we were out, but we had not requested it. A clean room is great, but we would not have left out some of our personal items had we known they would enter our room. We also took advantage of the spa and got facials. We were maybe 5-7 minutes late for our appointment if that and one of the clinicians was very rude about it. I can’t believe one adult would talk to another adult like she was a child because “ they have a schedule with back to back clients and so our session would be cut short… we were to arrive at 2:30, as she pointed to a time on our paperwork and continued to “ slap my hand” verbally. I am fine with our session being cut short, we were late, that is on us, but don’t come at me like I am a toddler and treat me like I am stupid. I was very taken aback. No other client entered either after us.

The first thing we noticed upon entering the lobby was BLEACH. The place reaked of bleach and looks like it hasn’t been updated since 1996. The pool area is dirty. Garbage on the ground, the loungers filthy with dust/dirt and the areas around the loungers filthy. The pool water was like bath water which I guess makes sense since it’s summer in the desert but not refreshing at all. Our room smelled musty and the old purple carpet needed to be replaced 10 years ago. There were no comfortable chairs in the room. The bed was fine and the sheets were clean. For some reason the lights in the room are motion sensors. The one in the entryway flickered like a strobe light and couldn’t be turned off until it went though it’s flickering cycle of 3-4 minutes. We didn’t realize this until late because we were going in and out of the pool/sliding door. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way that it would be triggered by our movements in bed which is INSANE. All night we were kept up by this insane light if we moved too much in bed and when we used the bathroom. I contacted the staff the next day and they didn’t care. BE AWARE they hit you with a $35 plus tax service fee on top of what you book for which they say is on the booking page which I never saw AND it was nowhere on my receipt on this site. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T STAY HERE. It’s cheap for a reason!

This was a fun motel to stay at. The rooms were large and you have a patio. There are hammocks outside to relax in or the pool which was very active with a DJ. There was a grocery store right across the street which was very convient
