The 3rd floor air wasn’t working which made it very muggy on the third floor when you leave your room. They must’ve just cleaned the carpets because they had a fan up there blowing air and the carpet seemed damp. All the furniture is pretty outdated. The fridge was clean. The bathroom was clean. I did kill cockroach that was in the room. But I did only see one. The air-conditioning struggled a little bit. As for the breakfast, it’s your usual continental. Not much protein, a lot of carbs.

I booked this hotel for my son who was visiting Irvine area for 3 nights. Upon check-in in the afternoon, he noticed the AC unit was dripping water onto the carpet (right next to the electrical outlet to which the AC unit was connected. He notified the staff who said they'll attend to it. They didn't. The following morning, as he was leaving the hotel, he notified the front desk saying "I'll be out all day, can you attend to the leak." Yes, we'll take care of it, they said. Yet when he returned that night, the leak was still there, and the wet patch on the carpet grew to about a quarter of the room. He repeated his request the next morning. Again when he returned to the room the following night, nothing had been done. And in response to him alerting the staff they chose to not clean his room, not make the bed, nor give him fresh towels. They basically chose to ignore his request by not ever entering his room. We paid upfront but didn't get the very basic services one would expect of a hotel, not to mention the possible hazard of electrocution!
