Friendly staff. Breakfast was decent. Plentiful parking.Room was ok- needs updating with more outlets for electronic devices. Elevators definitely need to be replaced or repaired as it was nerve wrecking to ride in either one.they made noises as if they would stop working at any moment. Overall, a decent stay. Not sure if I would stay again though.

The property is in a quiet safe area with convenient parking. Staff is courteous and friendly. The beds were comfortable. On the down side, the rooms could use some updates. The floor coverings, doors, bathrooms, and lighting were outdated. Many of our lights did not work. The pool was out of commission, and it was the main reason we selected this hotel.

Pool was closed due to failure to comply with sanitation rules. Notice was from March and we stayed in May. It would have been nice to know that when booking. Breakfast was just ok. Mostly the same items 3 days in a row.

The staff is friendly, and the hotel it nice and clean 👌 One of the Elevators was not working, and the other is very slow. I have stayed here before and, would stay again. :)

Phones in room were out and we switched to another room, due to the ac being broken. Shower was very low pressure in the morning almost just trickling and was like that a few mins. Also only had one elevator working so wait time to go up and down were longer.

The pool was shut down by the city. The general manager yelled at me and told me.i couldn't be in the pool area while I was talking on the phone. I wasn't getting in the pool but he wouldn't let me sit in the sitting area. He was super rude.

This hotel is old and it is also due for significant renovations. Had to tour three different rooms to determine the most oderless one however, after one night, we had to change hotels due to lack of cleanliness and overwhelming odor.

Room smelled like mold and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned we had bar soap residue fresh still stuck and hair on the shower wall . Walking inside the room I felt disgusted but the check in and check out was fast and easy and front desk was nice . We saw a big roach outside so we didn’t try their complementary breakfast it was a 2 night stay thank god

I didn't like the smell of the room, it smelled like mildew, the hallway to get to the room smelt decent it had plug ins so I figured the room would smell the same. Carpet was sticky, had to wear shoes the whole time and shower was clogged with a clog of hair that I had to remove because it would not drain. Visually could see the hair clogging the drain and it was not properly cleaned. Nothing like the room photos.

For the price, this place doesn't meet even basic hotel standards; it felt more like a run-down motel. As someone with autism and OCD, these environmental issues aren't just inconveniences they are genuine triggers that can lead to sensory overload and emotional distress. The smell, lack of cleanliness, and dim lighting made it nearly impossible for me to feel safe or regulated. I noticed there were no mattress covers, which added to my anxiety around hygiene and potential pests. These may seem like small details to some, but for people with sensory sensitivities and health concerns, they matter a lot. I politely asked for a refund because I physically couldn’t stay in that room. The manager refused and only offered a room switch. When she asked if the new room was better, I said yes not because it truly was, but because I was already overwhelmed and couldn’t handle the confrontation. this hotel is disgusting! carpets smells terrible from the ground floor up to the 6th floor where our room is. frankly speaking i was looking forward to spend my vacation into ‘i thought it would be clean and cozy’ but the moment i stepped in to the front desk, my feeling is very disappointed. the receptionist was nice though.

I will say the room was very clean! My issue was the smell of the room. It really was unbearable.it was a strong funky smell that was discharging from the A/c. The first night we didn’t sleep with the air on and it helped a little. The following day management did have the maintenance worker to come up and take a look at it. He cleaned it out and the smell lifted a little bit but later that afternoon the smell came right back. The worker on duty at the time acted as if she did not care, she did not try to accommodate me, offer another room or refund me back for one day. So I packed my things up and drove 6.5 hours back home. This was a first and last time for me.

The room was filthy, unclean and unacceptable. From the linen on the bed to the towels dirty! The pillow cases were dirty, the sheets had stains. When I unrolled my wash cloth to use it it had make up on it, when I grabbed my bath towel to dry off with after I showered it had stains on it. Needless to say housekeeping is not doing their job. I had to call the front desk to bring me clean towels, but by the time I got them I had air dried- I could go into more detail on the uncleanliness if the room and some of its it’s common areas, but the towel and linen situation was enough. This is the worst and most unsanitary hotel that I have ever stayed at. I was very disgusting. Such a disappointment. Also, there were similar complaints from other people staying in the hotel and also some complained about not having phones in their rooms. That’s a safety issue.

Looked nice and clean. Coffee maker, phone, and hair dryer were all broken. Tried to order a movie on the tv but it wasnt working. Called front desk for help. They said they would send someone but never did.

The room was nice and clean. The TV defaults to on demand movies and there was no information on how to get to regular TV and no guide to let you know what the stations were. The room was large and roomy. I was comfortable there.

The room was good except for the TV and the temperature. There was no channel guide and the buttons on the remote only worked half the time. The temperature in the room was a little difficult to control. Every time I turned on the heat it smelled like it was burning. The ice machine on the third floor needs to be repaired as it has been a known issue for a while. Breakfast was okay for the one day out of three that I ate there. I didn’t care to go back. Bed was comfortable.

The room was ok it was a perfect size for what we needed however there were stains everywhere and the ac sounded like it was going to break when you turned it on. When we left we noticed a hotel door that looked like it got broken into which made us question the safety of the hotel.

This first room assigned to us, was already occupied by someone else, second room assigned, there was no cold water in the shower, only very hot water. The 3rd room, the door did not locked all the way, hair dryer did not work, no garbage can inside bathroom. Refrigerator did not work. Breakfast was very good and reception are very clean, staff very attentive in dining are. I definitely will not stay at this hotel again.

The room was spotless. The arrangement was great with a sectional, small desk, and king size bed. There were only two issues. The room darkening drape was shot leaving large areas of light in. The mattress should probably be replaced as well. The rate was great and we might stay again, but request a room change of it is in that condition.

I prepaid a reservation for a king room, I checked in around 8 PM and they had given my room away. There were no king rooms available. And they made no compensation nor concessions for the room. That is terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service
I prepaid a reservation for a king room, I checked in around 8 PM and they had given my room away. There were no king rooms available. And they made no compensation nor concessions for the room. That is terrible terrible terrible terrible customer service

The service was terrible. The staff was unorganized, and the overall management of the hotel was poor. The breakfast was extremely disappointing, with low-quality food and limited options. Even something as simple as enjoying a cup of tea was not possible, unlike the experiences my friends have had in other hotels.

I absolutely loved the front desk staff !!! They made our stay so much more fun !!! Especially Kayleigh and Mrs Remi !! Also we loved the breakfast and the cook ! The housekeepers were also fabulous!! Gave us what we needed without hesitation!!! The room we stayed in was huge ! We loved the sofa and partition. We did have to ask for a microwave in our room but got it immediately!! Now the bad part …. There was absolutely no shade at the pool. And it was too hot in the dining areas. Also the halls stayed warm . Other than that we loved our stay !!!

I checked in on Thursday night. There was nobody at the desk to check in several people for 45 minutes. So we all had to stay there waiting for an employee who left the desk uncovered for 45 minutes. Got to my first room toilet was running wouldn’t stop. She changed my room a second time, it stunk so bad I couldn’t even stand there and she changed my room to a third one and it smelled like mildew but at that point I was tired and I just wanted to go to bed so I had to go to Walmart and get Febreze to be able to stay in the room. It was absolutely terrible . Never will stay at this place again and want my money back.

This place is always good. We stay frequently when doing business in DFW. Breakfast is nice to have, staff is always super helpful and friendly. Shower is powerful and hot. Quiet, safe parking lot. Close to anything you want/need - fast food, dine in, shopping, events, Dallas or FW. I can't think of anything negative to share.

Hyatt Place hotels are our go-to chain when we travel, and we stay in the Hurst hotel all the time. Coming back from a six-week work trip on the east coast, I had one more business meeting in Dallas on Monday before I could head home. I prepaid for a 2-night stay at the Hurst location. So on Sunday, after driving two long days already, I just wanted to check-in and rest. I arrived around 1pm, and the girl at the front desk firmly told me check-in was at 3pm and no rooms were available yet. I told her that I would wait, in case a room became available. I sat down in the lobby, in view of the check-in girl. About 30 minutes later, a man came in, she checked him, gave him his keys, and he headed to the elevator. I thought she would call me over next and let me know rooms were ready. But no. Another 30 minutes goes by, and another man came in. She checked him in, gave him his keys, and he headed to the elevator. This time I got up and went up to the counter and asked her why they got to check in, and did she forget about me? "I didn't know you were waiting for a room." Yet she knew my name. And saw me go sit down after I tried to check in an hour ago. She checked me in finally. This location used to have stellar customer service. Staff knew who we were, knew we had back-to-back 11-hour driving days, knew what kind of room we preferred, and greeted us by name when we walked in. We loved it!! But there have been a lot of staff changes, And not a lot of customer service training.

Nice and quiet stay, even with our room next to the elevator. It's VERY nice having a small bar in the hotel after a busy day. Breakfast is standard fare, which is small as well. Rooms aren't that big (by Hyatt standards), BUT big enough to serve the purpose. Great location with large stores and many restaurants within walking distance.

Great Location. Hotel is weathered and needs to be spruced up. It's clean but old. Price point is good. If you need to get in and out of the Dallas area on a budget, it's a good place to choose.

This hotel is excellent, staff is excellent and very helpful if you need any local information. The free breakfast they put out is amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had when free breakfast is provided. Highly recommend.

The property was clean and well maintained. Unfortunatly the photos for the property had major false advertising. The pictures showed a really nice bar set up in the lobby but was just the front desk extended into a tiny bar with minimal seating. Also the entire property was outdated as well as two lights in the hallways made the walk to our room creepy. We expected a higher end estsblishment but was met with lower than a holiday inn. Clean propety but dont book based off advertising pictures.

Breakfast was amazing! The staff was so friendly and just went out of their way to keep everything stocked during our stay. Pool area could have used to touch ups, looked a little old and worn. But other than that, we had a great stay!

First, the staff is fantastic here and the hotel is nice. What I didn’t appreciate is, there is no restaurant or bar in this hotel. I don’t know why the description says there is. Also, the pool area is hot! There is metal furniture in the area and not one single umbrella to catch some shade…so, being in Texas, it’s not really an enjoyable space. The rooms are small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower is very narrow which made showering for my very broad husband an elbow hitting hazard. They do offer the continental breakfast which believe it or not, was pretty good. Everyday there was at least one thing new on the buffet. I would still recommend staying here, just don’t expect what the description says.

I usually enjoy staying at this hotel but on this last trip the breakfast bar was cancelled for no reason. I asked the host about it and she said to read the sheet explaining that it was due to unseen circumstances. I then asked for a copy of my receipt and she gave me someone elses receipt.

The only thing that is NOT remarkable is the breakfast... same pineapple fruit all 4 mornings- one morning it's was still frozen. Also, scrambled eggs each morning, only the meats changed. Only saws bagels one morning, and had to ask the staffmore than once to refill the eggs.

Rooms were very clean and nice like advertised. Nice size pool even though the weather hasn't swimming weather hot. Big bonus was breakfast included which when I went to eat it was the best by far breakfasts included I've been to. Orange juice, Apple Juice, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, french toast, oatmeal, waffles, fruit, cereal etc. The oatmeal and cereal were every day everything else was in rotation.

The room was spacious and clean. But, the mini fridge wasn't very cold, we ran out of toiletries, and the shower curtain was dingy. I tried calling down for assistance but I didn't get an answer. I used the pool and it didn't look pool clear. The breakfast was good but because it was a busy event weekend, some items were empty but the staff was quick at refilling the stations. I was excited about a bar on premise but it wasn't quite the bar I expected. Overall, it was an okay hotel. I stayed there because the rest of our party was there.

Overall it was an okay stay!! The staff were wonderful! I always check our room when we check in. There was dog hair over both beds on top sheets and bottom sheets.So sheets clearly weren’t changed. However the night front desk clerk was very helpful and gave me new sheets and apologized! However, my son gets bad allergies from dog hair so we had to make sure to tell them to vacuum the next day while we were out!! Breakfast was good and we didn’t check out the pool! So if you stay just make sure to check out your rooms throughly!!
