Room was spacious and updated. Breakfast was solid buffet, slightly above the average 3 star chain hotel breakfast. Basketball court and squash court available for free use with rentals included which was a big plus. Room service offered for breakfast and dinner but menu is fairly limited. Staff was very friendly. Pool looked nice but no AC so it was unusable which I read in other reviews so may not be fixed for future stays. Grounds were nice with a nice walking trail, volleyball net and plenty of green space. Great value for price.

They have a North side that was originally assigned to me. It was low quality and no air conditioning. I had to have them change my room to the south side and it was a wonderful experience after that! The male desk assistant lied and said the restaurant was closed and it wasn’t. He also was the one that assigned me my original bad room.

We're a big family so we bought a room at the cheapest hotel that included breakfast and had a pool. :) This hotel was absolutely GORGEOUS hotel! Was owned by Merrill Lynch previously and Big Pharma executives would arrive in the helipad. Hotel comes with heated Olympic-sized pool, indoor basketball court, indoor squash court, outdoor tennis court, pool tables, gourmet breakfast included. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and helped us navigate Princeton's campus the next day.

Really comfortable stay here again, we stayed there two years ago. Great facilities for tennis, squash and a great and safe indoor pool. We had breakfast included and it was fantastic. Staff are very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Will definitely stay here gain when next in Princeton. Highly recommed this property

Very comfortable and nice lobby area. The only problem was that two of the three elevators was working and one time after waiting a long time we ended up walking up to the third floor (we are seniors, so not so easy). Staff all very professional and friendly.

BEWARE!!! This place is an outdated bug infested hellhole! I booked this bed bug motel for 3 nights and on the very first night I was awaken in the middle of the morning feeling some sort of crawling sensation, only to discover several bugs in my bed!!! My family & I immediately packed our bags and demanded a full refund and was told by the incompetent manager by the name of Sonja “in order to look into a refund, I must contact the bug company first”. What sense does that make? What does the customer have to do with your bug infested property?!?!? Why would or should I have to wait to get a refund for the exterminator to confirm that your property is infested! I wish I had researched more thoroughly. After speaking to the idiot Sonja, I specifically filtered and searched Google reviews for the word “bug” and found multiple of customers had similar experiences. This place has a MAJOR bug issue. The entire property is dated. Chipped paint everywhere, trash in the conman area. I noticed 2 out of order signs on elevators and the one that worked was slow AF! This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at! Room smelled like mildew, stains everywhere. Carpet coming apart. There has to be numerous health code violations going on at this location. I’m appalled they’re actually in business. In addition to the items mentioned above, the customer service is deplorable! Upon arrival, I asked Jessica for additional washcloths and never received them. STAY CLEAR AWAY!!!

I need a refund for the 3 nights. The hotel rooms and toilets were disgusting. The toilet has conspicuous poop stains all over the seat cover and the toilet bowl. The hotel refused to clean it. They only cleaned it on the 3rd day after many complaints. The bathroom is run down. The headboards of the beds had white stains all over. The place looked nice online but in-person the rooms are run down and disgusting. We couldn’t use the toilet ‘cos of the poop stains and had to take Uber to my son’s apartment to use the bathroom. Very deceptive and fraudulent advertising that this hotel did online. I spoke to the manager who refused to issue a refund. I have pictures of the poop stains on the shower curtains. My children were traumatized by everything that they saw. Never staying in any of their hotels ever again. I need a refund as I was disgusted by the filth of the bathroom.

Staff was great. Location was great. But my sheets were not clean. It smelled of fish. Front desk was able to provide a new set of sheets but it was late so I had to change them. The mattress was not comfortable. It felt worn and old.

Staff was amazing! Felt like a safe area. Property looks like it has seen some better days—old and outdated. There is nowhere to plug in your devices, laptop, etc without unplugging a lamp or TV box (wait, that’s still a thing?!).

The room was musty which makes sleeping not very pleasant. I wish windows opened so you could bring in fresh air cause I'm not sure if the AC does that. The front desk person (I wish I had taken her name) was very pleasant and helpful to accommodate our request. The price of <$200 a night was very acctractive.

Overall this is a very outdated property. The rooms were extremely and strangely dark, the television was quite small, there were no USB options to charge devices in the room, the plants in the outdoor seating area were dying, and there was insufficient light in the parking area (very possibly a safety issue).

When we checked in, the staff was not friendly or welcoming. No details about breakfast, pools, gyms or concierge services was provided. We came to discover that the tower we were staying in did not have hot water as we were getting ready to shower and head to bed. We called the front desk and they said they were working on it. The next morning, still no hot water. The feont desk staff did not have a plan to allow guests to shower and did not offer an apology or an alternative. The breakfast buffet was a typical hotel breakfast. The seats we were given were ripped and the music they were playing was borderline inappropriate. The elevator had the same food trash in it during our entire stay. When we checked out, they did not ask us how our stay was. They simply took the key card and told me we were all set. All around not a great experience. We will not be back.

The front desk reception of my arrival, was extremely pleasant. A lovely young lady at the front desk by the name of Jennifer, greatest me with a huge, and bright smile. She took very good care of me and my wife. Even graciously changing my room to a quieter room in the hotel. I will be a return customer! Thanks Jen!

The cleaning staff tried to enter my room twice on the morning of my departure (8:20am and 10:25am) without first knocking or announcing themselves. While the safety latch was on, this experience detracted from my feeling of overall safety in my room. I did let the reception staff know. I will not be staying at this property again.

Parking was included w/ the price of the stay which is always a plus. The hotel was great! Something for everyone. The star of the trip was Jennifer at the front desk. In one word - WOW!! She was absolutely incredible. She was able to provide information on everything I needed to know inside the hotel AND everything outside the hotel. She was amazing!

Hotel is pretty dated. Very quiet and not crowded at all despite a holiday weekend. Handicap parking is too far away from the entrance lobby as my wife is disabled. Room was clean and satisfactory for the price point. Toilet refilling after flush took 10 minutes and very loud. Our bed was old and squeaky causing discomfort both nights for us. Seems our room wasn’t used often as it is a handicap accessible and probably neglected by the staff. Restaurant was freezing cold both mornings as well as the buffet breakfast. We will look elsewhere for a hotel the next time we visit the area. We expected more from a Crowne Plaza hotel.

Accomodations were great and the property is super well maintained. We weren't there for more than 14 hours so, deficiencies, if there were any, weren't obvious. Our only issue was the restaurant. On Friday eve we stopped in for a quick bite. Food was slow to come out and my burger wasn't cooked to my specs.

The Crown Plaza was great value for money. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a big step up from the standard hotel breakfast offerings. The walking path around the property was a bonus.

The room was very clean and the daytime staff was great. The night clerk did not share important information regarding the restaurant having different hours than listed and that it wasn’t open at all other than during breakfast and we had to go to the bar to order dinner after our late arrival. Service there was lacking, with the bartender giving a big sigh and comment when I started looking at the “signature cocktail” menu. She didn’t want to wait tables and didn’t want to make drinks. Not sure why she worked there. All the vending machines on all the floors had been removed but the signs were still up. There was one sad machine adjacent to the lobby. Again, this was not communicated. I got the feeling this used to be a very nice property. It needs some shaping up from management.
