Econo Lodge Nashville North

The motel was exactly what we needed for one night. The room was clean, albeit outdated and worn. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The motel is next to several food options and stores where you can pick up essentials. Uber to downtown Nashville was about $15 around 7 pm and the return ride was $35 a few hours later. Not outrageous, but there is also a $2 bus you can ride if that's more your speed/budget.

I had booked for 2 nights, but they only had me down for 1. They did accommodate for the next night. The room is VERY basic, but adequate. No instructions for the TV. Floors are vinyl, but that's best in a motel. No coffee in room, but available in the office.

I didn't like the fact that I went to the ice machine to get a couple of there small buckets of ice. They have camera in there and when I tried to fill it a second time they remotely shut it off. Went back a little later and tried to get ice. As soon as I pushed the button they shut it off again. The towels were more like dish towels size wise. And they left the toilet paper almost empty.but the ice thing really pissed me off. Really! Are they that tight

Pool was green, room just wasnt as pictured all in all wasnt at all impressed

The room was ok but not for 97.00 for the night. They advertised a continental breakfast which they DID NOT HAVE. The bath towels were paper thin and there were only two.t took a long time for hot water in sink tap to get hot The room looked like it had been remodeled and the bed was comfy.

Breakfast was supposed to be included but it was not, the pool is tiny and dirty. The rooms smell bad. There are horrible people around, it’s like a scary movie; I know it’s not expensive but you don’t feel safe in that place.

This is a drive up to the door motel. It is clean but in a sketchy neighborhood. We stayed across the road at the Sleep Inn which was very nice. This Econo Lodge had only coffee for breakfast, and only SweetnLow and dry creamer. No stir stick or sugar. The king bed was comfortable. The female clerk was very stoic upon arrival. We much preferred the Sleep Inn North/Opryland.

Pulled up to people drinking tequila and beer out of the back of their tailgate. Told us to make sure we locked our cars because people were breaking into them. We were catcalled and felt like there was no sense of security or awareness by staff (one person was working the night window and has no direct view of the parking lot or any of the rooms). Outside access so anyone in the parking lot can see what room you go to n Definitely not a place that I felt safe as a woman. The janitor that was working when we checked out was very friendly and sweet. That’s about the only redeeming part of our stay.

The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful, as was the maintenance man. Other than that, there was more bad than good. The parking lot was so small, that when it was full at night, it was very hard to park. The room had ants in the bathroom. We needed to call for someone to look at the hot water in the room because it wasn't working. Turns out that you just need to run the water for 10 minutes or so until the hot water travels from a small tank on the other side of the building and finally gets to the room. After a long 9hr drive and then a concert downtown, to say we were very tired would be an understatement. The next morning, I had gone to the store early. When i returned, I forgot to lock the door. The cleaning lady opened the door and saw us still sleeping and closed the door. However, she actually woke up my daughter. My daughter overheard the cleaning lady complaining that we were all still "dead asleep". That she could have come in and cleaned and we would not have noticed. Then proceeded to say that she would never sleep past 10am and that it was ridiculous that we were still sleeping. Overall, it served our need, but I would not return to this location.

The bedding had semen stains (pics). When I reported it, the front desk clerk (Amber) stated it was clean, just old. Which, the blanket or semen? They held a $100 on my card, as a deposit where nothing in the room would even total up to that amount. She was reluctant, but changed the room. The new room the bedding was neater, but bathroom was overlooked with a strong smell of urine and the furniture was extremely dusty (pic). They should service or cater to the lower end and remove their affiliation with Hotel com. That's all!

Stay was very horrible. The room was very nasty. Had older. There was hair on the pillow hair was all over the tub the toilet seat there was hair all in the shower curtain also spots and dirty spots all over the shower curtain top bottom in middle that was spots all in the tub as well. I asked the staff member on site. Mr. Moley is the name that he gave me. He stated to me when he came into the room that the cleaning staff is not there to sterilize my room, clean my room to my capability and that I can go to the store down the street to get what I need to get to clean my room sterilize my room the way I would like the room to be clean because they do not do that then he went on to disrespect me and tell me he sees the hair he sees the hair in the shower as well and he just took a piece of tissue and wipe the hair up now everything is clean and he also changed a pillow case and then left the hair on the bed. After disrespecting me, he said now go to the store and sterilize and clean your room. The way you want your own clean because I our staff do not have to do this so you can. After that, he told me that he has to get back to the front desk and cannot spend the night down here at my room with all my complaints that this room is not clean or sterilize.. I only told him that I am allergic to dogs and cats. I have started itching since I opened the door and stepped in. Is there another room I can move too because of the fact that I am having a reaction to this room, he told me

The floor was very dirty. Our socks and feet were black on the bottom.

Property felt very unsafe upon arrival. Staff was very rude from the start. Walked into our hotel room and it was dirty, stains on the pillows and rips in the blankets. Showers were dirty. Pictures online are very inaccurate.

The lady at the front desk wasn’t helpful and the room was not clean. It smelled like cigarettes, mold and the sheets felt like they weren’t washed beforehand

The room was dirty the bedding had burns in it, they charged us for an ESA Animal and the upkeep on the room was horrible Do NOT take a family there

Beds for painful very few pillows. Bathroom door broke. Shower was dirty. Very noisy area. Didn’t feel safe

The place is very old and really needs fixing up. I was terrified of bed bugs but didn’t see any. There were no tv instructions, no Kleenex and the maid left the toilet paper with about 12 inches of paper left! This place must be struggling.

Some updates have been done, vinyl plank flooring, new toilet, shower and the parking lot wasn’t littered with trash. Overall, it still looks like a a cheap motel with linens in such bad condition-I have cleaning rags that look better and are thicker. If you are a large person, good luck getting into the little room with the toilet and being able to close the door. Hint: TP is behind the door! WiFi never worked, no water not enough to take a shower and lukewarm from sink faucet. This part of Nashville had declined dramatically. 3 other motels located nearby which did not pop up when I was searching this website. Only Fast Food restaurants nearby.

There were people who had their cars parked right next to the hotel rooms (outside their gate) who were working on those vehicles late into the night and early the next morning, loudly. I was not able to sleep well as a result of the banging and clanging.

The check-in and checkout process was very simple and easy. They were very nice overall this is a good value Motel. My biggest complaint is that one of the beds in the room had really dirty sheets, but the other bed was fine. The air conditioner wouldn't go below 70 and the shower was room temperature at best.

Room was clean, beds extra firm, location was close to where we was going, and staff was friendly. Only complaints are we was on 2nd floor and the sidewalk upstairs to get to room is sloped feeling you when walk on it. Beds too firm for me but sure ok for other people.

Our stay was great for the value! The mattresses were not the most comfortable, but no complaints otherwise. The lady working at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

Excellent Service All Around.

Our first room's door lock was broken, but they quickly moved us within a mstter of minutes. Staff was very helpful

Check in staff was very nice and helpful.i think my disappointment was just due to property age. Overall it was decent as I was just there to sleep. The sheets were cleaned but stained. There was a hole in the tile under the sink and the bathroom fixtures could definitely be finished better. Area is definitely sketchy but overall I was just there to sleep and did so pretty well. I would recommend to people on a budget.

The very unprofessional lady at the front desk, tried to tell my husband and I that they do not accept online reservations from people out of state and will only rent rooms to locals, and then in the same breath proceeded to tell us that, she didn’t have any rooms available whenever we could clearly see rooms open. Super unprofessional and econo needs to fix the face (literally) of their company! Wouldn’t recommend bringing a rat here, much less a human being.

Loud music and argying all night, high deposit, staff very abrupt and unfriendly.

The food choices were good in the area. There were some fast food restaurants and a local Walgreens for a good distance. I paid for 2 rooms. I noticed the towels definitely should’ve been replaced. They were dirty looking. I didn’t even bother to request more. I just used my own. The next day, my friends and I left our rooms to go out. When we came back, we noticed one of the beds in my room was made up but not the other. We never requested anything to be put in our rooms. I went to the office to see why was someone in my room without my permission. He stated that if I didn’t want housekeeping in my room that had to be requested at the beginning. I’ve never heard of that. I definitely would not be booking another stay

Though right off the highway and very nice woman working reception, that’s about all I can say. It was very loud outside and between rooms as well as questionable on safety. Thankfully, it was a quick stop over for the light.

Good location in East Nashville, drive down to Broadway, go to Shelby Bottoms

Be sure to keep in mind that this is an economy class motel, so don't expect luxury. The area around the hotel has numerous fast food options. The neighborhoods between the hotel and downtown are a little dicey.

Someone stole my things out of my car I’m parked right by the office and my hotel was right by the office I was informed I would have to notify the cops myself and there was nothing they could do pay the extra 30.00 and sleep somewhere there aren’t crackheads walking the street breaking into cars

Overall my stay here was good! I thought it was pretty clean and I loved the fact that it does not have carpet. Our check in was smooth. The receptionist could have been a little friendlier during our check in, the lady that checked us out was nicer. The overall location was convenient because it was close to the highway and in front of a gas station. It’s also not far from downtown.

overall a really nice stay! Noisy and wouldn’t walk around at night as we encountered more than a few drunks and unfriendly homeless :( but the hotel itself was clean, we felt safe and comfortable.

This was our second stay here and it is a "no frills" hotel, but worth it. The beds are comfy and it is perfect for a night stay. No breakfast, but they do serve coffee. We would stay again.

the pillows were half the size of standard pillows. held no shape. no alarm clock. no Kleenex. holes in bathroom wall & door. coffee was horrible. powdered creamer. cable tv election was extremely limited. need to up grade everything. staff (front office & cleaning staff) were nice but had no information to share with us about local restaurants or attractions. also no brochures
