The Manager and all of his staff were amazing. Even before we arrived they had already helped us organise our transfer and many things we planned to do. The Manager greeted us in person when we arrived and was very visible throughout our stay and kept checking-in that everything was okay. He even gave me his business card with his personal number to contact him if we needed anything. Located right by the Nile, you can eat in the hotel or cross the road and pay a few Egyptian pounds to enter the riverside complex where there are plenty of restaurants, boat trips and market stalls. This was our first trip to Egypt. The people are so hospitable and genuinely welcoming. We definetly plan to come back and we’ll definitely be staying here when we do. Thank you to the Manager and your staff for looking after us and treating us like family.

I was told to to bring government issued ID. When I showed them my driver's license (which matches the name on the booking), they refused to check me in unless I had my physical passport. I told them I've left it at home and I don't walk around Cairo with my passport for the risk of losing it. They ended up denying my stay. Expedia didn't even refund me yet. They said they'll "request" a refund from the hotel. So I was left stranded by both parties and left without a refund thus far.
