Period cottage in idyllic riverside location in prime Cotswolds village

Lovely cottage, really helpful host before and during stay. Facilities very good. Stairs are small & steep. Can’t wait to return, excellent location & lots to-see in the local area.

Fabulous location. Comfortable cottage, fully equipped and close to lovely nature walks. Great walk between Lower Slaughter and Upper Slaughter. Stairs were doable albeit challenging. Beautiful, relaxing garden. Excellent instructions and great communication with owner.

What a wonderful stay. English charm! Make sure to sit out back with coffee or tea in the morning and a nice dinner in the evenings.Thank you for everything!

It was such a wonderful experience and a memorable stay in lower slaughter. very easy drive to other villages. It had everything you need to prepare your meals although we didn’t use it. The mansion near by is worth seeing. Everybody was kind and friendly. The owner was prompt to answer questions on location when we mistakenly arrived to the wrong spot, my bad, had clear instruction how to access the cottage whitch i gave to my daughter that opened it. made her feel like Sherlock Holmes:)) Thank you Sophie for a lovely experience

We had a wonderful stay at this charming and cosy cottage. The location is excellent, with a beautiful garden that made it feel like a real home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and parking was easy to find. While the area was busy with tourists—as expected—it didn’t take away from the experience. The host was warm and welcoming, offering plenty of great recommendations. When my wife accidentally left something behind, they kindly posted it back to us. Highly recommended!
