I don’t know how to accurately describe how much I loved this place, though I can say I cried leaving. It is such a beautiful spot, cozy and quiet, and I enjoyed every minute. I truly hope to be able to stay again.

Riverside Cottage feels like stepping straight into a fairytale. The whole place is utterly delightful, and we fell in love with every detail; most of all the adorable kitchen. The welcome treat of milk and cookies was such a sweet and thoughtful surprise that set the tone for a perfect stay. Quiet, except for the sound of horses hooves, we spent a wonderful three days. We had one small issue and our host was quick and responsive. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The area is so gorgeous. The house actually was nicer in person than the pictures seemed. Felt very homey. The kitchen was stocked enough that we were able to cook meals at home for the 2 days we were there. Only negative I would say is the toilet is pretty dreadful at flushing and should be replaced.

The cottage was lovely - warm, cosy and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity that you could possibly need. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are plenty of books, games and dvds to keep you entertained. The location is perfect. The village is stunning and there is a lovely pub/ restaurant a stones throw away from the cottage, which serves good food. As stated in the description of the cottage, the staircase is steep, which may not be suitable for children or someone with mobility issues. There was good communication from the property manager/ owner and check-in was super easy using a key safe. We will most definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage, really helpful host before and during stay. Facilities very good. Stairs are small & steep. Can’t wait to return, excellent location & lots to-see in the local area.
