Definately the best breakfast in toronto for hotels. Only a couple things that i didnt like. No onsite hotel parking, but paid parking is across the street. The water pressure for the showers wasnt the best and no medical stay rate. Other than that the place was great. Nice rooms and hotel overall.

Beautiful new hotel, very friendly staff. Rooms are very nice, good gym. Only challenge is the check-in process. Feels like you are checking into an all inclusive with all the paperwork. Needs to be adapted to local market and what competition does. Not a great start to my trip, but the rest was excellent.

Just spent my birthday at the Riu Plaza and it what an experience. The staff went above and beyond and made my day special. I stayed at their 1 King bed deluxe with sofa bed. The room is on the smaller side as everyone mentions but it has everything I needed. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was big and with a rainshower, ac/heater works well. The breakfast buffet was simple and your typical continetal breakfast and I love that it is included with your stay. The staff was also great, always greeted me with a smile. They also left a birthday card and chocolate in my room, staff also gave me cake at the breakfast buffet. For ameneties they have the bar at the reception and a gym. I believe they also have a spa? No in house restaurant but so many food options around the area. More importantly too is how center the hotel is. 2 mns from TIFF Lighbtox and 12 mns walk to CN Tower. I would recommend this hotel.

All was great! The room was very clean! The bed and pillows were great quality. The shower had two heads and a lot of pressure. We were greeted at the door and at the elevators. Check in was easy and professional. The gym was large and had a lot of equipment. Location was grea!!! Close to great shopping and many many great restaurants!

This hotel seems quite new, extremely clean, beautiful rooms. Felt very safe as you had to use your room key to use the elevators. Would definitely stay again and reccomend to a friend

Slept in a sheet that has blood stains didn’t noticed it because i slept on one side of the bed only for me to open the other side of the sheet there was stains and secondly food on the floor that means someone checked out and i was checked in without cleaning

Very clean. Very new and modern. The staff are all friendly and there are plenty of staff greeting and assisting which gives a really premium feel. The breakfast has a large variety of options and is a great service to have when travelling. We will stay again!

Very clean hotel and room. Room was very tiny tho. Had an extremely hard time trying to cast my phone to my tv (couldn’t end up doing it). Besides that everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. One of the best I’ve ever had.

This is a brand new hotel, so everything is very clean. There is no parking on site so consider yourself warned - but parking is available across the street. Check in was laborious - they needed ID for both of us staying in the room plus addresses and contact information. The room is TINY and there is no desk or any place to spread your stuff out. We were knocking into each other. The bathroom is lovely and huge, comparatively! I wouldn't stay there again as it seems very transactional and not really about creating comfort, BUT if you are looking for an inexpensive and clean place to lay your head, this is it.

All good in the room: large window, blinds that work, good shower etc. The sliding door to the washroom is very noisy and the lights therein are blindingly bright (for those of us that have to go in the middle of the night). Checkin line was long, but well managed and fast.

My stay at Hotel Riu Plaza Toronto ended very poorly due to a serious security incident and how it was handled by staff. After extending my stay and receiving confirmation from the Front Desk that my room and checkout date were updated, I returned to my room one afternoon to find my personal belongings disturbed and two skincare products missing (value over USD $100). Items had clearly been moved and rummaged through. Management later confirmed via camera footage and key card logs that a Housekeeping Supervisor entered my room while I was out, despite the room not being cleaned and my stay having been extended. No clear explanation was provided for why this occurred, and no accountability was taken. I was repeatedly told “we trust our team” and was unable to speak with the hotel manager. After nearly two weeks at the hotel, this incident completely overshadowed my stay. The lack of transparency, accountability, and concern for guest security was deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Felt luxury for an excellent price. Greeted by lobby staff immediately, held my bag while I checked in. Room was fantastic and just nice overall. Breakfast was worth the entire night, it was incredibly well done: the selection, the quality, the presentation. Absolutely would stay again.

Parking situation is not ideal as hotel has no dedicated parking. Was 10 minutes over time and got a ticket. Staff was not helpful in providing directions for parking. Front desk staff was not helpful when I had questions either. Overall wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The breakfast was amazing. One of the best I've had at a hotel in North America. I would book here again just for that. The room was very nice and clean. The only negative was that the front desk staff on the first night were not good. So many people were having problems and very long delays checking in for no reason. It was clear that someone who was not yet trained was put at the desk and was really struggling. She eventually gave up. Some of the customers were getting very frustrated. Fortunately the rest of the trip there were no issues.

I loved the hotel and its décor. The room was clean and featured comfortable double beds. The staff were attentive, courteous, and friendly. The staff were outstanding. The room was small but serviceable. I’m not sure we should have run out of tissues after using one. A night light that wasn’t full on bathroom light would be good.
