Rooms are good, nice and large. Bath towels were used for the jacuzzi and shower and were way too small. Jacuzzi was luke warm and we couldn't stay in there. I called the night before to specifically ask if the jacuzzi was working before I booked and was told it WAS working.. We were disappointed...

The breakfast was terrible Only one kind of cereal No waffles Biscuits that were overcooked Diced potatoes that were looked like they were raw There was less than a quarter of a pitcher of milk I had asked if it was open and I was told yes, but the swimming pool was very dirty and the spa didn’t work. The room was hot even thou I put it at coldest. The curbside appeal was not the best. There was grass and weeds growing near a parking spot that I had to park. I would like to get my money back .

We had a good stay pool and jacuzzi were clean and working.Staff was friendly and helpful,rooms were also clean.Had a simple breakfast, very convenient to I-35 and 183. Walmart is close by and you have a couple of restaurants on the next block over and 10min from downtown.

Walked in and the girl working there saw me but did not acknowledge me for about 4 minutes. Then walked over and seemed very annoyed. She wasn’t welcoming and didn’t even greet upon entry. The outside of the hotel looks like the building is abandoned. The inside has a broken elevator and several carpet pieces put together instead of it being all one. The ice machine was broken and the luggage cart was kept together by a wire. Overall would not stay again. The area does not look safe either. They do have a security guard at night but he spent the time talking to the employee instead of securing the area. Not family friendly

This is an older LaQuinta, but our room was newly remodeled and was very modern and clean. The breakfast was awesome with hot and cold options. The staff were very friendly. The location and condition of the area was a little sketchy. We had NO problems, but we did wonder if our vehicle would be safe.

The walls were covered in filth, hopefully coffee or soda exploded in the room but who knows. Brown smears near the bed. Carpet was wet and stunk. Absolutely disgusting.

Staff was extremely rude. There were cockroaches in the room (took pictures of the bugs). Never had such a bad experience in a hotel. Not one to give reviews, especially bad ones, but this hotel takes the cake. Also, pictures on media are extremely photoshopped compared to this mess of a hotel.

Our first room was so dirty that we had to complain in order for them to move us. The second room wasn’t as dirty but it was still uncomfortable. You can tell there is no maintenance to this hotel. There are stains on the walls, the furniture the hallways. They never cleaned our room ( we were there for 3 nights). Overall I would not recommend

Please don't go there. It's an old, dilapidated, run-down, extremely dirty place. Carpets smell very bad. Whether in the hallways or in the rooms. The star I give is for the toilet that was clean.

Do not go to this property. Had to cut my stay short due to BED BUGS! We not only found 1, but 5 in the beds we were sleeping in, they even got in the clothing we were wearing (pretty sure there were more under the mattress). We brought it up to the person in the front desk and they said we had to leave. Didn’t help us look at other hotels or apologize or anything. This happened at 3am so after leaving we had to call hotels around the area ourselves and many didn’t have any availability. There was also a lot of noises and screaming and security going around all rooms asking questions and police inside the hotel at the time. I felt very unsafe and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The cheap prices aren’t worth it.

Paid for a king suite for 3 nights, when i got there they put me in a standard king, said all the suites were taken, and couldn't give me a refund because i went through a 3rd party for my reservation. The room they tried to put me in smelled so heavily of cigarettes and marijuana, i had to change rooms. The 2nd room, still a standard king, didn't smell like smoke, but of sweat and feet and the AC rattled/vibrated the entire time it was on. The bathroom only had ONE roll of toilet paper, the only nice staff member was the one who checked me in, and there was no wifi after the 2nd day, which normally wouldn't be a big deal except the only reason for my trip was training for DPS.

Overall it was good. Complaints would be that the tv kept getting louder on its own, the room was hot even when turned down to 60, we never had enough linen for our family and kept having to ask for some. Also, the breakfast on the first morning wasn’t very good, there was no other choice of eggs besides hard boiled eggs and the food was cold. The hotel is very old and it shows.

Overall it was good. Hubby & I stayed one night. We attended a concert near by and the hotel was located in a good spot for us. Bed was comfortable, clean room. Had a minor smell to it but nothing horrible. Good stay for a night.

Bed was great and comfortable. Bath was spacious. Carpet needs replacing along with vanity and hutch. Hotel was quiet. Check in staff was not welcoming. Breakfast was unimpressive. Area was a little isolated. It's good place to stay if you just want a comfy bed and be left alone before sight-seeing or eating out. The hotel could do a lot more to make it inviting for just a little more effort.

Was told last minute there was a $50 security deposit, was not informed of that when I booked the room. The AC keep making noises all night so I received maybe an hour of sleep. Front desk manager was extremely rude when I asked him about the Security Deposit. Breakfast tasted like it was reheated, not freshly made.

Old hotel needs major update. Minimal staff. Poor water pressure. Small towels. Had to go to front desk ourselves to get things that housekeepers forgot to leave in the room. Room was not cleaned at 3pm in the afternoon. We had to request cleaning for the next day. Not acceptable!!!

As long as you realize that this is a budget hotel, you will probably be just fine. Service was awesome. Efficient and friendly. Front desk called after we got settled in our room and asked if everything was good with the room. Room was good size and clean. Bed was comfortable. AC/heat was quiet. The carpet in the hallways needs replacing. But I am sure that is a budget issue. The breakfast was good. Overall a good stay. I would stay again if I was in the area.

Front desk was not professional after being placed on hold four times when called to advise of my late arrival for checking in due to my flight being delayed. When I arrived I had no reservation the front desk said they think my card was declined. I check my credit card and the charge appeared in 01/2024. Expedia sent me a confirmation email stating I paid for the stay of two queen beds. Then when Expedia called the front desk they said they only have king rooms available. This took over an hour and it was now 1am when the front desk told Expedia yes they can rebook for two queens. Expedia took the time to fix the hotels error and never did I once receive an apology. The front desk kept repeating that we need to talk to the manager the following day. Luckily Expedia finally got me checked. The gym was a joke when most of the machines did not work and only machine had a sign of it not working. This was the worst experience I have ever had and do not recommend this hotel.

Customer service at front desk was lacking most of the time. I booked and paid for this room thru Expedia, hotel never got the reservation, so the suite I requested and paid for, was not available because the manager of the hotel was living in it. This hotel also billed me for the room. I was double charged, waited weeks for the refund. The pull out couch, which we needed, was broken. Front desk was not helpful in finding a solution such as a fold up cot or another couch! Very uncomfortable stay for my family. Breakfast service ran out of milk on our 2nd morning. How can children have cereal without it? No one could go to Walmart, located across the street, to buy more? It’s unfortunate, we travel to Austin quite often, but I won’t be staying here, or booking thru Expedia! Poor communication between hotel and Expedia. I overheard other customers who were having similar reservation experiences.

Check in staff was professional, attentive and welcoming. As much as I tried finding something wrong with hotel, I was not able to. room was clean and perfect. I guess the only downfall to out stay was having a view of the funeral home next to this location. This will be my stay location when comimg to Austin!

Horrible area right under highway. Supper shady - did not feel safe at all. Hotel was dingy with filthy carpets/elevators. Room smelled like mildew. Bed/sheets smelled off. Bathroom was fairly clean. Friendly staff. Hotel allowed cancellations, but Expedia did not. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Property was worn and well used. However, while the hall carpets showed damage, the rooms were clean, the AC worked great, and the beds were comfortale, making for a successful stay. Location was perfect for our trip. Funky Austin through and through!

We had a good stay pool and jacuzzi were clean and working.Staff was friendly and helpful,rooms were also clean.Had a simple breakfast, very convenient to I-35 and 183. Walmart is close by and you have a couple of restaurants on the next block over and 10min from downtown.

The property was not what i thought when reserving it. Pulling up saw alot of homeless and suspected dealers out in the parking lot. Saw a person comong out of the hotel with a pitbull on a leash but was jumping and barking at people walking by. Room was ok a/c worked great but could hear people talking, dogs barking, my daughter was going to the pool saw 4 okder guys just sitting out there watching people and felt unsafe so no swimming for us. Overall wouldnt recommended this property or stay there again. Will pay a little extra for somewhere safer and less hood.

A much older building. Carpets were very dirty . The location is right bye the hwy so it's a noisy area. It's tough to get into the location as it right off the fwy so it's tricky . The hotel was very close to UT as well as restaurants we wanted to visit. Great convenience as far as location but the age of the hotel was obvious and the elevator was scary since it hadn't been tested in 4 years . So buyer beware it's not the worst as long as you bring your own pillow and don't walk around barefoot (as some of the other guest did) you should be ok. Stay for the location not the comfort

The carpet in hallways is soiled, shredded in places, and needs desperate replacement. Breakfast was out of plates for 3 days, juicer doesn’t work, out of milk one day, and coffee thermoses had worn out pumps.

Was told last minute there was a $50 security deposit, was not informed of that when I booked the room. The AC keep making noises all night so I received maybe an hour of sleep. Front desk manager was extremely rude when I asked him about the Security Deposit. Breakfast tasted like it was reheated, not freshly made.

The breakfast was terrible Only one kind of cereal No waffles Biscuits that were overcooked Diced potatoes that were looked like they were raw There was less than a quarter of a pitcher of milk I had asked if it was open and I was told yes, but the swimming pool was very dirty and the spa didn’t work. The room was hot even thou I put it at coldest. The curbside appeal was not the best. There was grass and weeds growing near a parking spot that I had to park. I would like to get my money back .

Misleading information about providing breakfast… there was nothing available, (no juice, no milk, no toast, no coffee and it was barely 8am) has to ask for the towels for the room the day I checked in because there wasn’t any towels in the room I used to like staying at this hotel but lately it’s service has gone down Disappointed

Check in was fast and easy. Location was great, right off the highway. The room was as expected. The beds were comfy. The toilet paper roll was insanely far away from the toilet. Not sure why someone would put the toilet paper way over by the sink and not the toilet. I had to stand up to grab it. That was not cool. Breakfast says it was served from 7a-10a. Not true, they ended early. I got down at 9:40 to eat and there was nothing left. The lady stood there and told me she wasn’t putting anymore food out. There was 8 of us in line with no food. The gravy, apple juice, waffle batter, bread and sausage were all empty. The omelets were cold. The only thing I could eat was cereal. It should not say served until 10 if it’s not. I could have came sooner if they would have said 9:30 instead. The elevators are tiny so we had to wait multiple times for people to exit before there was room to get in. Other than that it was as expected.

The room didn’t have bath towels nor soap or shampoo the so called free breakfast, never has the juice machine working , no waffle mix , no plates. Very poorly stocked , I was there at 8AM and the breakfast is supposedly from 7AM - 10AM We’ve stayed several times at this location because it’s convenient and economic But the quality of service has gone down. Won’t be staying here again

La Quinta in Austin is a wonderful place to stay! The staff is friendly, professional, and very welcoming. The grounds and surrounding areas are clean and tidy. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Austin—you won't be disappointed

They have a $5 per day fee for parking which is stupid, on top of that the shower had no pressure and the temperature was off, the AC was making loud noises thru the day which made it impossible to get a good sleep, and I just stayed for 1 night, I can't imagine if I was staying longer. Won't be returning, it used to be nice but this management has turned it terrible.
