At an altitude of 830m, south-west of Lyon, in the Mornantais region, this gîte is located just outside the village of St André la Côte, along the small dead-end road to Font Bénite: the starting point for a number of hiking trails that criss-cross the village, including the GR7 and the climb to Signal (950m), the highest point in the Monts du Lyonnais. Originally an old barn built entirely of local stone and adjoining other farms that have also been converted into holiday homes, this gîte has been tastefully renovated by its owners (3 sisters), who were keen to preserve this family heritage inherited from their grandparents and parents.
