Affordable price for a great location and good for sleep. Located at a 15 min walk from Pike Place, small, clean and neat. Still too outdated, wifi and cable glitchy, it does not have a working elevator. Recommended if you have a lot of activities planned and just want a place to crash at night. If you want to relax and hang out in the hotel this might not be your cup of tea.

At first I wasn't sure what to expect. The place is newly renovated, very clean, fluffy towels and great staff. Hairdryer provided upon request at the front desk. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Wifi can be spotty but is free. Park at the street level if possible as the below ground parking is very steep ramp and very small tight turns. Think 1950 size. Bed was very comfortable and linens clean. Hot water. Good AC and new TV wall mounted. Hot water, tea, coffee in the main lobby. Ice machine downstairs. Great location close to attractions and downtown.

The parking is the only issue I had at this property. There aren't many street-level spaces and the parking structure below isn't much help. The spaces below are tight and getting in & out of the structure is a challenge. There is only one entrance and it is quite narrow. I drive a Chevy Blazer and I didn't feel comfortable going through there. I can't even imagine the challenge of you have a larger vehicle.

Vintage 50s motel with fresh paint and new bedding etc. They are trying hard to make this work but its going to need a total gutting for the long term vs this light refresh. Elevator is broken (to be repaired) so no ADA access upstairs and limited on ground floor. Room was very noisy - hard to sleep plus a yayhoo honking their car horn to be let into the garage at 3am. So all in all a great orice for a centrally located room to take a shower in OR pass out after a late night bender.

Staff upon arrival was terrible. Half asleep and seemed angry to be there. The guy in the morning was friendly and helpful. Room was clean enough but reminded me of a gross apartment where the landlord gets the cheapest help to turn it around. Bad paint, no trim. Weird caulk around AC im window. Giant hole in the base of the wall no one bothered to drywall. I guess for the price in downtown maybe what youd expect?

The property itself wasn't bad the location to the event i stayed for was very convenient. The room itself wasn't very clean lots of dust & bits all around, the sheets had different colored stains on them so slept on top on them not in them. The most disturbing thing was I packed all my stuff out & went to go get breakfast with the intent of eating it in the room but upon returning to the room there was a guy with a reflective vest on using the toilet (I had not turned in my key yet) so at this point i checked out & left. Won't stay here again & won't recommend anyone to stay here either.

This is a motel with somewhat refurbished rooms. The bathroom looks nothing like the pictures. The room was clean.although the floor seems to be sticky and wet in some spots. The window shades were installed wrong on all rooms and you have ZERO privacy. I had to put a bag to press the shades against the window so they close a bit more. The good things. The reception (which looks like a garage pay booth had very helpful people working during the day. It was safe to leave my bag there which was really handy. The sidewalk around the area was not easy on the eyes. In the last morning there was a pool of blood. It is a tough neighborhood nowadays.

The room needed to be swept and vacuumed. There was no sheets. When we asked for sheets, we received a package of wrapped sheets that had “stained” wrote on them. The bath tub was physically dirty. My kids couldn’t even take a bath in it. The sink and bathroom floor was dirty. There was no fridge. No microwave. No coffee maker. No hair dryer. No chair.

The place was not clean. The TV did not work. The room was not set up adequately. The shower had brown water coming out of it. The Bathroom sink barely have it water in it not that we were going to use it after we saw the brown water coming out of the shower.

Great location, but you get what you pay for, rooms are small, and kind of loud. My room had stained sheets on them bed, and the cleaners left a dirty towel on the bathroom door. Wifi was terrible, didn’t work at all for me. Great in a pinch for somewhere to sleep. It did look like they were doing some upgrades to other rooms when I was there so hopefully it will get better in the future.

This place falsely advertises itself as a hotel, but it’s really a rundown motel. Only a few rooms are renovated. The rest are in bad shape. My room had blinds that didn’t close all the way, so people could see in. There was no hot water in the sink, and the bathroom was falling apart. The shower was disgusting and I felt dirty after taking one. Lighting came from cheap college-style lamps. Definitely not what you expect for $175 a night. They claim there’s free parking, but it’s not guaranteed because they rent spots to people not staying there. When we arrived, the front desk guy looked high and couldn’t even help us check in or tell us where to park. Overall, this place was a huge disappointment. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Didn’t have full blinds, people could look in our room as they walked by. Couch for a third person was uncomfortable and didn’t even fit a 5’5” person. Upside was location, but I would never stay there again.

A good deal for the price. You get what you pay for, and you don’t pay much! This motel has been seriously cleaned up with new paint and fixtures, but it still has tiny rooms with few amenities and cheap fixtures, and the overall ambiance is “low budget motel.” The parking lot under the motel is small and tight, but very convenient if you can get a spot. We had the cheapest room option. Our biggest complaint was a noisy air conditioner and a noisier back alley. We turned the noisy air conditioner off and chose to open our window instead, and we were awoken in the middle of the night by incredibly noisy dumpster-diving, yelling, and bashing in the alley below our window, so we closed the window and turned the AC back on. The room was tiny, with one chair and a small side table with no surface area. The bathroom was clean and functional. Maybe the “suite” option is better? Considering the low price and on site parking, I would stay here again, but only for a place to sleep at night and not for a special or romantic occasion.

Our overall stay was good. Location was close to everything and was within walking distance. Since it is a motel near downtown, there was noise at night but it didn’t bother us much. The TV also didn’t work, that did bother us haha. But overall it was a fine stay for the price point and distance to everything.

Good location. But facility is definitely in need of a facelift. Rooms & linens are clean, but we got the only room with a lousy window curtain compared to the nice blinds on all of the other rooms (#119). Pillows need replacing.Air conditioner very noisy, only a few feet away from the bed. Bring earplugs. Nice to have tea and coffee 24/7. Fruit and granola bar for breakfast nice, skip the crummy pastry! Cleaning staff, hard-working.

Don't let other negative reviews scare you away. Just go into this knowing that you're getting what you pay for. It's a motel in the middle of the city, 15 minutes walk to Pike Place Market and also 15 minutes to the Space Needle. Being a motel, it won't be the cleanest, but it's not like they don't clean at all. I had fresh sheets every day I was there. It will be a little loud at night, sure, as there's only three floors and the windows are kind of thin. But its never crazy loud, the worst thing you'll hear is police sirens. The area isn't too bad at all either. They lock up the lot at night, so you have to get buzzed in by the attendant. Would I bring children here? Probably not. But if it's just my friends and I, it's a bed a and a shower at a very affordable price, nearby everything you could want to do in downtown Seattle, PPM, Space Needle, Bars.. This place is a good value for what you're paying.

Possibly I didn't do enough research, but this hotel is really a motor lodge/motel and not a hotel. I didn't expect to enter my room directly from the parking lot, and the room itself was tiny. Area was very loud but it helped to turn on the air conditioning to serve as white noise. Overall, the stay was fine. Clean, cheaper than surrounding places to stay, and the location was wonderful. But, as I said earlier, not what I expected. And breakfast was not really breakfast. It was fruit, granola bars, water/coffee and pre-packaged pastry.

Free wifi was advertised, but it seems our room was too far from the router per a message my daughter received when she tried to connect. When we asked the front desk attendant about the lack of wifi, he first asked what room we were in, then said it was temporarily down. It was never accessible during our stay. Grab and go breakfast was granola bars, apples and unripe bananas. Gr

The curtains were see through so light would get in and people could see in from the outside. If you have a hotel in a city where the sun doesn’t go dawn until 10pm then invest in blackout curtains. Overall very outdated

No one would answer the front desk phone out of the three Wi-Fi they provided none of them worked and I almost missed class went off of my cell phone. My room was right outside the monorail so I heard nothing but loud screeching all throughout the night. being a solo female traveler, I asked for a later check out 1130 or 12 o’clock so I’m not traveling around the city with my luggageand I was told that I had to play by the rules. Someone then proceeded to unlock my door at 10:33 while I was in the restroom. No microwave or fridge. One of the Worse experience I have had. Will not return.
No one would answer the front desk phone out of the three Wi-Fi they provided none of them worked and I almost missed class went off of my cell phone. My room was right outside the monorail so I heard nothing but loud screeching all throughout the night. being a solo female traveler, I asked for a later check out 1130 or 12 o’clock so I’m not traveling around the city with my luggageand I was told that I had to play by the rules. Someone then proceeded to unlock my door at 10:33 while I was in the restroom. No microwave or fridge. One of the Worse experience I have had. Will not return.

Check in was horrible. Told that our reservation didn't exist. Finally the manager showed up and immediately found out reservation. I don't know why it was so hard to begin with. The place stinks like body odor and sewage. Don't really recommend unless you'll be spending zero time in the room.

Came inside lobby on his phone no hi/hey, I have to say hi for him to stand and yes he stood up still on his phone for a bit then Staff: Checking in? Name? Me :giving details Staff: ID and credit card for deposit. I will charge you $20 for parking. Me: what? I filtered my search for. Free parking and this hotel came up that’s the reason I booked. Staff: it used to be free but they changed. If you can show me a proof that says it’s free then I won’t charge you. Me: showing the app I use to book. Charged me for an extra night without confirming I wanted it. I inquired about the price for another night which was too expensive and I didn’t agree to booking it. The next morning I found out they charged me for another night. They said they would refund me for it but not the taxes because my original booking was through Expedia (that I already paid for). They were the ones to charge me for the additional night not Expedia. Now I’m waiting for my money back which unfortunately had 364.63$ pulled that I couldn’t use for my trip. The hotel otherwise was in a good location, secure with the gates and cameras, and housekeeping was very nice. If you are to book here I would double check your charges on your card and ask for email confirmation for your stay or a printed receipt. The guy that charged me for another night was not the same guy who helped me get a refund. The employee who was working the night of 6/12 and did not care enough to do his job properly.

Since checking into our room we had guests calling our room to check in happened a lot until I unplugged the phone, when I went to let the person up front know he casually said yeah happens a lot. Was nice, made no eye contact and when I let him know it was happening through the night as well he just said unplug the phone then. I paid way too much to be treated that way and not able to sleep at night so not a place I’d stay again!!

The staff is professional, courteous and quick. Parking and location is worth the room charge. A simple update would command twice the price but that might kill the charm. Great pillows, blackout curtains clean sheets and smart TV’s. I don’t ever leave a review unless I’m disappointed or extremely pleased. I’m very pleased.

We used to live in Seattle and knew the Belltown area was not great. We also did not wanna pay over $300 for a hotel room. The property was fine but it was just bare basics. Be careful at night as there are a lot of drug addicts in the area.

Awesome location, right in the heart of downtown. Tons of convenient restaurants, walkable distance to Pike Place market, Space needle, Climate Pledge Arena, etc. Free parking, cozy clean room, friendly staff for a great price. We’ll stay here again!

I had a nice stay at the Dylan for a one-night trip to Seattle. It's conveniently located in the heart of downtown, with on-site parking a major bonus since it's so rare in the city. My room was bare bones and no-frills, but clean and spacious (and, I wasn't planning on spending much time in the room, anyway). Staff were courteous and efficient, appreciated the free water bottles and grab-and-go breakfast option. Only drawbacks were that my toilet didn't work the one time I had to use it, and the TV didn't work (although again I didn't spend time in the room, anyway). Overall the Dylan is a rare affordable option in Seattle that will meet your basic needs.

Possibly I didn't do enough research, but this hotel is really a motor lodge/motel and not a hotel. I didn't expect to enter my room directly from the parking lot, and the room itself was tiny. Area was very loud but it helped to turn on the air conditioning to serve as white noise. Overall, the stay was fine. Clean, cheaper than surrounding places to stay, and the location was wonderful. But, as I said earlier, not what I expected. And breakfast was not really breakfast. It was fruit, granola bars, water/coffee and pre-packaged pastry.

Small, cement walls and ceiling with awful patch work on ceiling. Had to go to front desk to get hairdryer. Not inviting at all. Did have fruit, breakfast snacks so that was nice. No elevator no had to haul all our luggage for a cruise up the stairs.

This looks like a Motel kind of property. It’s small maybe compared to other hotels, but it really impressed me. They had no breakfast, but at least they had coffee and water for guests. They gave us a free room upgrade and the room was very comfortable. We arrived early and, since they weren’t able to check us in early, they stored our luggage until it was check in time. Personnel was very friendly and attentive.

Free wifi was advertised, but it seems our room was too far from the router per a message my daughter received when she tried to connect. When we asked the front desk attendant about the lack of wifi, he first asked what room we were in, then said it was temporarily down. It was never accessible during our stay. The room was big, but extremely warm & stuffy. My room was by the loading dock & extremely noisy. All in all, rather disappointing…Also, they have a policy of locking the access doors to the hotel at 10 pm. Hiwever, the instructions for after hour access were unclear & i got locked out at 1 am…

Staff was unhelpful as there was no wifi working for both nights we were there. They said they’d couldn’t help with that when I spoke to front desk. However, we were impressed with how clean it was. Very loud area though and you can hear everything outside your room.
