Knights Inn Oswego East

For being a small hotel in a small town, this place was exactly what we needed for the night! It was clean, safe and a nice place to relax!

I have stayed at this property several times until this visit I would have described it as dated but decent, with usually good staff. That is the only reason this is not a 1-star review. I was arriving late, but I contacted the hotel earlier and explained I would likely arrive around 12:30–1:00 AM. I was told that would not be a problem. When I arrived, the front desk employee was outside on the porch/patio with other workers. She was friendly, but appeared to have been drinking, and I could smell alcohol on her breath while she helped me. She also kept reassuring me that the people outside were “friendly,” which made the situation feel more uncomfortable. The bigger issue was the pet policy. The booking information I saw did not match what I was told at the property, and I had previously been under the impression that my dog was allowed. Instead of asking how I wanted to proceed, it felt like my reservation was immediately treated as something to cancel, even though I had another place for my dog to stay. Afterward, the hotel’s response made it worse. I was told that, as a repeat guest, I “should” know their “NO PETS ALLOWED” policy, and they also brought up check-in hours despite me contacting them ahead of time. The response felt dismissive and blamed me for confusion caused by inconsistent information. maybe this was a one-time bad night. But until the pet policy is corrected across booking sites and the customer service issues are addressed, I would stay elsewhere.

We went for graduation. Rooms were clean. Air conditioner was working. Very convenient location. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Owner allowed us to leave our trailer in the parking lot before we checked in, so we could get to graduation on time. Even have us a gift card to Dunkin.

Quite noisy as it’s very close to the highway

This hotel is so clean and such a great value for the money! The gentleman that owns it and works the front desk is very friendly and nice. I had a very nice stay and will definitely book again.
