It is a wonderful place to stay for a couple and or a person with a dog. The owners are delightful and so welcoming. The place is very well kept and in a beautiful setting. It is about my 7th stay with my dog Spuddy, and won't be my last.

This idyllic place is such a great place to stay with your dog. Hosts Maree and George are so generous in sharing their property with you, including their swimming pool. The BNB is very private, separated by a large hedge from their house. I have never stayed in such a wonderful place.

What a wonderful romantic getaway. Perfect place to get lost in time, be inspired to paint and read. We loved exploring in the canoe, gardens and walking tracks and our fur babies just liked laying around. Highly recommended.

The perfect little spot for a weekend away, we came for our wedding anniversary and brought our dogs, we wish we had booked to stay longer. Maree and George were wonderful hosts making us feel right at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

This cottage is as good as all the other reviews say. A perfect spot to just get away and exhale. The cottage itself is clean and well appointed and also a great dog friendly stay, we would definitely go back. Extremely comfortable king bed but the lounge needs replacing due to the support being all but gone. I would also add a wood fired pizza oven in the BBQ area for a nice pizza night in.

The most beautiful retreat in the most stunning, picturesque location. Ultra clean with all of the amenities needed for a complete wind down (including a bath with spa feature). Maree and George are the most lovely, welcoming, happy and hospitable hosts. You are completely immersed in beauty and wildlife, with fresh honey waiting for you on arrival - made on the property! Highlights include making a cup of tea in the morning gazing at kangaroos in the paddock, a bush walk to a lookout on the property, seeing a wombat, seeing a newborn calf and retiring in the most comfortable bed, while our dogs loved sleeping in front of the fire. This is the best pet-friendly property we’ve ever stayed at and there is so much to do in the area. Maree is lovely, and the cottage has literally everything you could ask for. We also really loved the unique gardens and property. Can’t wait to come back again :)

The Riverside Retreat is a beautifully appointed cottage in a stunning location! Everything you could wish for to have a relaxing time away. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, the walk to the lookout, bbq’s under the stars by the fire, and lunch in the lovely bbq area by the river. Our dogs loved racing around in the paddocks too! Maree and George were absolutely delightful hosts who gave us our privacy but were also up for a chat. So very lovely to meet them! We highly recommend this little patch of paradise!

A charming cottage in a beautiful riverside setting. Maree and George are warm and generous hosts, welcoming us with fresh honey from their bees and a fine bottle of wine. The cottage is tastefully and well fitted out and the setting is green and peaceful with great local walks. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and a down to earth relaxed attitude by our host. Our pup was welcomed to the property which is real important to us. The accommodation was clean spacious and quiet with all the essentials supplied. We even got some delicious fresh eggs. The property was amazing with the animals and birds and we would recommend this farm stay to all looking for scenery bush walks and feeding the animals. Loved it 5 stars

My partner Ruth and I had a wonderful 3 day break at Longreach and could not have enjoyed it more. The property is in a great location alongside the Shoalhaven river and is private from the hosts residence yet Marie can be on hand in an instant if required. It's a very comfortable cottage with a lovely view over the farmland where you might see wombats feeding or lyre birds meandering around. Marie went above and beyond the call of duty when she arranged the postal return of Ruth's rain jacket which we had inadvertently left behind. I would like to thank the hosts for the use of their property and we certainly return sometime in the future.

Beautiful little cottage in a quiet location next to the river. Just far enough from Nowra to feel a proper country vibe but close enough that it didn’t feel completely isolated. Maree was wonderfully kind and helpful and it was great to see the animals on the farm wandering happily around. Really relaxing stay.

Maree was wonderful, had lots of information to share about the property and nearby shops and activities. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away to escape the rush of Sydney and be surrounded by the beautiful sights and sounds of the animals and landscape. The home has everything you need including outdoor seating to enjoy the farm and river views and fully equipped kitchen. Loved my stay here!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Longreach. The cottage is even better than the pictures and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the porch with the kangaroos each morning. The location is secluded but still close to area attractions. Thank you Maree for a great stay!!

If nature restores you, this is where you want to be. We never wanted to leave this property and just wanted to listen to nature's sounds. Lots of kangaroos and cattle. The hosts are pure gems, very accommodating. The cottage is laid out very stylish, unique and perfect for spending quality time - I brought my daughter and a super cool dog. It was perfect, will come back again. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot with us.

We really enjoyed staying in this property. The gardens surrounding it made for relaxation and the property was comfortable and a great place to unwind. Maree was a thoughtful host.

The most beautiful retreat in the most stunning, picturesque location. Ultra clean with all of the amenities needed for a complete wind down (including a bath with spa feature). Maree and George are the most lovely, welcoming, happy and hospitable hosts. You are completely immersed in beauty and wildlife, with fresh honey waiting for you on arrival - made on the property! Highlights include making a cup of tea in the morning gazing at kangaroos in the paddock, a bush walk to a lookout on the property, seeing a wombat, seeing a newborn calf and retiring in the most comfortable bed, while our dogs loved sleeping in front of the fire. We have already booked a return trip. This is country Australia at its finest. Thank you again Maree and George.

Maree was wonderful, had lots of information to share about the property and nearby shops and activities. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away to escape the rush of Sydney and be surrounded by the beautiful sights and sounds of the animals and landscape. The home has everything you need including outdoor seating to enjoy the farm and river views and fully equipped kitchen. Loved my stay here!!

Wow, just wow. We found it very hard to want to leave. Our hosts Maree & George were the most friendliest, kind & accommodating people. The property is just stunning. So much to see & do. The retreat has everything that you could possibly need in it! this was the perfect location for a weekend away that was so needed from the busy lives that we live

This is a gorgeous location with amazing views. Very relaxing and so peaceful. The highland cows were a lovely surprise. Maree and George were amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back.

What a wonderful romantic getaway. Perfect place to get lost in time, be inspired to paint and read. We loved exploring in the canoe, gardens and walking tracks and our fur babies just liked laying around. Highly recommended.

My partner Ruth and I had a wonderful 3 day break at Longreach and could not have enjoyed it more. The property is in a great location alongside the Shoalhaven river and is private from the hosts residence yet Marie can be on hand in an instant if required. It's a very comfortable cottage with a lovely view over the farmland where you might see wombats feeding or lyre birds meandering around. Marie went above and beyond the call of duty when she arranged the postal return of Ruth's rain jacket which we had inadvertently left behind. I would like to thank the hosts for the use of their property and we certainly return sometime in the future.

Beautiful little cottage in a quiet location next to the river. Just far enough from Nowra to feel a proper country vibe but close enough that it didn’t feel completely isolated. Maree was wonderfully kind and helpful and it was great to see the animals on the farm wandering happily around. Really relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Longreach. The cottage is even better than the pictures and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed waking up and having coffee on the porch with the kangaroos each morning. The location is secluded but still close to area attractions. Thank you Maree for a great stay!!

The Riverside Retreat is a beautifully appointed cottage in a stunning location! Everything you could wish for to have a relaxing time away. We enjoyed the beautiful gardens, the walk to the lookout, bbq’s under the stars by the fire, and lunch in the lovely bbq area by the river. Our dogs loved racing around in the paddocks too! Maree and George were absolutely delightful hosts who gave us our privacy but were also up for a chat. So very lovely to meet them! We highly recommend this little patch of paradise!

It's a marvellous place, in a beautiful setting. The place is clean and is ideal for a couple who want a few quiet days. Our dog also loves the place. The owners are very friendly and so helpful. I can't praise the place highly enough. Sufficient to say it is about my 9th stay there (and my dog Spuddy's 9th as well).

My dog and I had such a wonderful stay – the property was everything described and even more. It exceeded our expectations in every way, from the beautiful surroundings to the comfort and attention to detail throughout.The hosts were absolutely fabulous – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful, which made the whole experience feel extra special. And a special mention to the friendly dogs, who added such a lovely touch and made it feel like a true home away from home.It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge, and i left feeling completely relaxed after a couple of days. I will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stay to others.
