This hotel is the perfect location for an Old Town/DC trip. The rooms are wonderful, the location is perfect and the atmosphere terrific. Oh, and it comes with parking too!

Best thing about this hotel is location. Staff subpar, shower & toilet in room needed repair & the blinds would not go up! I had to manually prop them up so I wouldn’t feel I was in a cave. I prob would not stay here again unless was the ONLY good deal in Old Town.

This hotel did not live up to my expectations whatsoever. It does not live up to its price point. The location is great, very walkable. The shared spaces were very clean and present well. But that was about it. The room itself was a bit of a let down. The bed was an old spring mattress. I could feel and hear the springs the moment I sat down on the mattress. The gym is an afterthought. It’s basically a larger room with 3 treadmills, 1 bench, 5 sets of dumbbells going up to 35lbs. If you’re looking to get good workouts in during your stay this is not the place.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. Zeniah was amazing at the front desk and helped us from start to finish. Bar staff was courteous and absolutely hilarious at times keeping us on our toes. (Shawn). Housekeeping was checking in to make sure everything was in order at different times during the day. It was great! We will definitely recommend. P. Stoner

The first room we were assigned had a strong unpleasant odor, so we were provided another one in the 6th floor. Unfortunately, and despite contacting the front desk twice for assistance, our TV was not functioning on multiple channels, including the one we most desired showing the US Open. The commode’s water tank was fitted with an improperly sized top, and we were unable to use our $15 food credit on the day after our arrival, due to a private party. We have stayed in the Alexandrian at least once yearly for the past 10+ years as out-of-town visitors; however, unless significant upgrades are made shortly, we will choose an alternate venue going forward.
