We stayed at the Anantara in April this year and it was one of the most incredible stays we have ever had. The property itself is gorgeous (literally a slice of paradise) but what made it most special were the staff that worked in the hotel. From remembering your favourites at breakfast to helping you round the pool they really made you feel special. The client facing staff (Puyfaii, Khai, Ton, Irene, Pop etc.) were so lovely and made us feel at home but I know there were many non-client facing staff in the background making the experience fantastic. The food at the hotel was also extremely good. Typically we wouldn't tend to eat in hotels but this holiday was an exception and we found ourselves eating in the hotel more often than not. We ate at all of the hotels restaurants including cocktails at the Singing Bird Lounge & the Tree Tops experience (our waitress was fantastic) which we would highly recommend. The hotel is well located as well making it possible to go on tours/ experiences across the island. We did have a pool suite which we would highly recommend (especially in peak season) as sometimes it was difficult to get a sunbed round the main pool but hopefully we haven't left you in any doubt you should stay here!

Fantastic and stunning hotel. Pool and beach were gorgeous. Excellent breakfast choices. The most lovely and welcoming staff. Perfectly located. Walkable to Chaweng-Choeng town. Short taxi ride to Fisherman's Village Our room with the plunge pool and swing was simply stunning. A wonderful stay

This is a beautiful resort with well maintained grounds. I love all the foilages and the little detail Lilly pads. The staffs are all amazingly attentive, friendly and would go out of there way to accommodate. The morning breakfast that was included is nothing but 5 stars, everday was something different. The resort offer a few water activities that was also included in my stay. This was by far one of my best tavel, I shall return!

Our Stay at Anantara Lawana was by far the best we had in our life ! We have been before to 5 stars hotels and resorts but nothing can compare to our stay here. The room was so clean and they even can make it up twice a day. Breakfast buffet was the best we ever had ! It includes a la carte items, all kinds of hot food, cold food and pastries, real juices and a barista style coffee ( not these automatic machines). The resort had an amazing private beach, pool and good restaurants. Finally i leave the best for the last. Anantara Team was impeccable, so polite, kind and loving ! Even provided us with farewell gifts. I definitely recommend everyone to stay there.

The Tree Tops restaurant was so overrated and overpriced. I have never been so bored having a meal spread out over 2 hours 20 minutes. The hotel is not friendly for elderly or disabled clients. There are so many trip hazards getting into your room or moving around the onsite restaurants.

We stayed in a pool villa which was incredible. The food outlets, pool and beach are top notch. The spa was perfect, and my massage incredible. Our villa host never reached out but since we were only there for two days it was ok - but suggest they figure that service out.

Loved my stay at this hotel during my honeymoon! It was the perfect place to relaxing after visiting all the busy cities in Thailand. Our room had private pool and included breakfast buffet. This hotel had all the amenities, I wish I could stay longer. The pool area and private beach was beautiful. Staff were always attentive. Hotel provided golf cart to get around the property. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff were excellent and made the experience:) The Thai food was good and so were the seafood options. However, the in room dining experience was not as good. The spa was overpriced and the service was not up to mark - massage was mediocre and so was the facility. The garden view suite was dark and dingy. Bathtub was not usable (made of stone, with stains) and it gets noisy at night. Otherwise, the basic amenities were present. The property can do with some refurbishment as it has the potential to be so much better. Ultimately, the experience was still pleasant overall.

Amazing resort! We had a beautiful pool access villa. The rooms are amazing and the pools are amazing. Staff here is excellent! Only cons are there are a lot of mosquitos and the seals on the doors aren't great so when they come to clean your room, alot of mosquitos get inside the room. The shower is also outside so you can get bit my mosquitos while showering. Drinks and food are fairly expensive and not enough pool chairs / beach chairs. The property itself is stunning though and very convenient.

Our stay at the Anantara, Chewang was fabulous, and the Staff went out of their way to help you in anyway. The rooms were immaculate, and well apportioned, and like the rest of the resort, well kept, albeit starting to show wear and tear. Breakfast was well organised, and on the better end of the scale for this type of resort - good choice of western and orientalist cooked foods, fresh pastries, great selection of fruit and continental choices. Restaurant style and food was exemplary and the Treetops restaurant was out of this world, but pricey. Overall, I would definitely visit again, as the Anantara delivered on all of its promises

Let me first say, I am not the person to leave a review. However, my wife and I have been talking about this property everyday since we left. The staff is wonderful and really helps to make the overall experience amazing. I can’t find enough good things to say about the cleanliness of the property as a whole. Book this property and enjoy a 5-star luxury treatment, truly wonderful.

We had an incredible experience with Anantara. From the cleanliness of the room, to the kidness of the staff (including a free upgrade to the pool villa room) we really enjoyed our stay. As a vegetarian, I was slightly nervous about the breakfast options, but there was so much available to us and the staff was really accompdating and let me know what else they could give us. If you dont mind walking, it is a 20min walk to Chaweng beach and night market which is also beautiful. I would reccomend it to those that want to have a perfect stay, not living in the hustle and bustle, but close enough that you can walk there/take a tuk tuk if needed.

Der Service im Hotel von den Angestellten her war einfach toll. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr ansprechend und sehr abwechslungsreich. Das Zimmer war nahe der Straße und daher sehr laut. Am Strand waren nicht genügend Liegen

This is a truly delightful hotel with friendly attentive staff. The rooms are very spacious, clean, with the most comfortable beds. Our stay at the Anantara Lawana was simply out of this world. Our family of four stayed in the garden view suite and we experienced the room as both spatious, well kept and beautiful. The staff was what really put this hotel stay above and beyond. We were looked after and cared for in such detail, our daughter even got a personal written letter wishing her a speedy recovery along with freshly cut fruits when she got a little ill during our stay. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a lush beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.

Sunny was very helpful and the service of housekeeping and all around was wonderful. We had the best 2 bedrooms villa on the private beach it was amazing. The only thing they need renew the wood floor outside, and all the rest inside the rooms are just perfect.

Great property what you see in the pictures is what you get. I booked private villa and it was exactly as in the pictures. The pool was reasonable sized, some other villas seem to have bigger pool too. Great service too. Despite the villas being a bit secluded the in-room dining was quite prompt. Overall we got the relaxing holiday we wanted.

The staff were excellent and made the experience:) The Thai food was good and so were the seafood options. However, the in room dining experience was not as good. The spa was overpriced and the service was not up to mark - massage was mediocre and so was the facility. The garden view suite was dark and dingy. Bathtub was not usable (made of stone, with stains) and it gets noisy at night. Otherwise, the basic amenities were present. The property can do with some refurbishment as it has the potential to be so much better. Ultimately, the experience was still pleasant overall.

Amazing resort! We had a beautiful pool access villa. The rooms are amazing and the pools are amazing. Staff here is excellent! Only cons are there are a lot of mosquitos and the seals on the doors aren't great so when they come to clean your room, alot of mosquitos get inside the room. The shower is also outside so you can get bit my mosquitos while showering. Drinks and food are fairly expensive and not enough pool chairs / beach chairs. The property itself is stunning though and very convenient.

We stayed at the Anantara in April this year and it was one of the most incredible stays we have ever had. The property itself is gorgeous (literally a slice of paradise) but what made it most special were the staff that worked in the hotel. From remembering your favourites at breakfast to helping you round the pool they really made you feel special. The client facing staff (Puyfaii, Khai, Ton, Irene, Pop etc.) were so lovely and made us feel at home but I know there were many non-client facing staff in the background making the experience fantastic. The food at the hotel was also extremely good. Typically we wouldn't tend to eat in hotels but this holiday was an exception and we found ourselves eating in the hotel more often than not. We ate at all of the hotels restaurants including cocktails at the Singing Bird Lounge & the Tree Tops experience (our waitress was fantastic) which we would highly recommend. The hotel is well located as well making it possible to go on tours/ experiences across the island. We did have a pool suite which we would highly recommend (especially in peak season) as sometimes it was difficult to get a sunbed round the main pool but hopefully we haven't left you in any doubt you should stay here!

We just had an amazing time at Anantara Lawana in Koh Samui. This place is a legit 5-star hotel. Everything is well maintained, and the whole place is simply beautiful. The staff at Anantara Lawana were incredible. Every single person was friendly and super nice. But we have to give a special shoutout to our guest manager, Sam. He was an absolute gem! Sam helped us with everything and was so attentive to our needs. We can't thank him enough. We're already planning our trip back next year, and this time, we're bringing the whole family along. Anantara Lawana has our full recommendation. It's a fantastic hotel with top-notch facilities and the best service you could ask for.

We stayed in a pool villa which was incredible. The food outlets, pool and beach are top notch. The spa was perfect, and my massage incredible. Our villa host never reached out but since we were only there for two days it was ok - but suggest they figure that service out.

We LOVED our stay here for our little family. We were thankfully upgraded thanks to our gold status on the VIP program. We got a pool villa with a swing which the kids LOVED. The customer service is 100% the highlight of this resort, wow everyone was so friendly, checking in on our activities. I am not sure if this is a usual Anatara thing, or a Thai service thing but we definetly want to check out future Anatara properties. Food was great, included breakfast was amazing we also did the cooking class with the hotel which we highly recommend.

We had an incredible experience with Anantara. From the cleanliness of the room, to the kidness of the staff (including a free upgrade to the pool villa room) we really enjoyed our stay. As a vegetarian, I was slightly nervous about the breakfast options, but there was so much available to us and the staff was really accompdating and let me know what else they could give us. If you dont mind walking, it is a 20min walk to Chaweng beach and night market which is also beautiful. I would reccomend it to those that want to have a perfect stay, not living in the hustle and bustle, but close enough that you can walk there/take a tuk tuk if needed.

A good location just a few min outside of Central Samui where all the shopping and restaurants are. Taxi's come by often so finding a ride is really convenient. The customer service is excellent and the private beach and pool are big enough to be comfortable in your own resort.

Amazing stay - service was great, nice that it is close to Chaweng without the ruccus. The food at treetops would benefit from changing to Thai dishes, but the ambiance is insane! The pictures don’t make it justice - it is absolutely amazing.

Our Stay at Anantara Lawana was by far the best we had in our life ! We have been before to 5 stars hotels and resorts but nothing can compare to our stay here. The room was so clean and they even can make it up twice a day. Breakfast buffet was the best we ever had ! It includes a la carte items, all kinds of hot food, cold food and pastries, real juices and a barista style coffee ( not these automatic machines). The resort had an amazing private beach, pool and good restaurants. Finally i leave the best for the last. Anantara Team was impeccable, so polite, kind and loving ! Even provided us with farewell gifts. I definitely recommend everyone to stay there.

The Tree Tops restaurant was so overrated and overpriced. I have never been so bored having a meal spread out over 2 hours 20 minutes. The hotel is not friendly for elderly or disabled clients. There are so many trip hazards getting into your room or moving around the onsite restaurants.

Everything. Food was excellent. Staff was very helpful and polite. Loved the room with our private swimming pool. Would stay again.

The staff were excellent and made the experience:) The Thai food was good and so were the seafood options. However, the in room dining experience was not as good. The spa was overpriced and the service was not up to mark - massage was mediocre and so was the facility. The garden view suite was dark and dingy. Bathtub was not usable (made of stone, with stains) and it gets noisy at night. Otherwise, the basic amenities were present. The property can do with some refurbishment as it has the potential to be so much better. Ultimately, the experience was still pleasant overall.

Amazing resort! We had a beautiful pool access villa. The rooms are amazing and the pools are amazing. Staff here is excellent! Only cons are there are a lot of mosquitos and the seals on the doors aren't great so when they come to clean your room, alot of mosquitos get inside the room. The shower is also outside so you can get bit my mosquitos while showering. Drinks and food are fairly expensive and not enough pool chairs / beach chairs. The property itself is stunning though and very convenient.

Staff was great. They gave me an upgrade on my room. Breakfast was also absolutely scrumptious. We were able to kayak from the beach to a nearby island, which was so much fun.

the units were rather tightly packed, with one unit over another and little spac between buildings. The birds can be annoying during dawn, if you are light sleeper. The dinning room was understaffed during lunch service. the soup was very salty. the "limo" ride from the airport were overpriced. the spa was good as expected of the brand. the neach and pools were nice
