We had a one bedroom apartment for 2 nights. It had a balcony and was very comfortable with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The hotel has a heated pool and spa with separate lap pool too. We enjoy an evening swim. The location is very good as it was a short walk to lots of different eateries and shops. Staff were nice.

One night in Brisbane after arriving from NZ. Easy check in. Good on site parking. A bit overpriced but convenient. Apartment has amazing views and pool area is stunning. Kitchen has 2 coffee machines, built in Miele and a Nespresso pod machine and full laundry and spa bath in bathroom. Only downside is the cold water is lukewarm but that’s probably true for everyone in Brisbane.

Car parking at $45 is high. Some local public places only $20. But no good when you find the next day. The TV didnt work and the night reception person was really fussed. No hair dryer. Breakfast starts at $35.

I stay at this property quite often and this time around the air conditioning in our room did not work properly. The hallways have a strong garbage smell from the garbage shoots that has progressively been getting worse with every stay to the point of it making me sick this time around. I had to put towels along the doors to stop the putrid smell coming into the room. This will be the last time I stay at this venue

The staff was lovely. The rooms have a musky smell. The first room we had showed mould on ceiling and exhaust fans, then we moved and they came to spray the room but the smell remained. The rules around the properry are very strict and they did not have pool towels.

Nice sized apartment but 2 blinds with broken cords in lounge area needing maintenance. Apartment was clean but first night noticed a mid sized cockroach near TV area and managed to kill it. Noticed a second cockroach before going to bed behind the side table in the bedroom but it escaped me. Noticed another cockroach on second night near TV area again but it escaped.

The room need an overall deep clean and maintenance repair. Pool area was lovely. Staff were friendly and tried to fix some of the issues. But the hotel is in a great location in Brisbane.

This property is in need of maintenance and is becoming tired. The hotel has a very strong stale cooking smell throughout the building and particularly our room, the smell was intense. Our mattress protector had by the looks coffee spills on it and our aircon didn’t work so we had heaters bought up to the room. Front desk was helpful and attentive but I wouldn’t go back

Good place with large appartments. Be aware there is a 24 construction site across the road, and this leaks into the room at night. Take ear plugs if you are used to sleeping in a quiet location.

The location is great, halfway between Eagle St and the bridge to walk across to Southbank. The apartment was quite tired looking although the pool area was pleasant. I had expected more quality in the room so was a little disappointed but 2 bedroom and 2 bedroom was useful.

It was pretty good but the view was poor and will fet worse because they are currently building a high rise right next door which will block what remains of the view entirely. There was noise coming from the building site all night and the last night which was a Monday night it was really bad. I can't say tgst was ok fir the price we paid. Looks like tgd building irks will be ongoing for 12 months give or take. So I would avoid this hotel if you want some sleep. How they are allowed to make that much noise at night I have no idea. They shut down parties for less at 9pm but these jokers make industrial scale noise literally all night.

Overall it was an ok stay. Please know there is 24h construction happening on one side of the building - we looked straight into the construction pit from our bedrooms. Not ok when you need to stay in from 7pm with little kids sleeping. This was not reflected in the price and if i had known I would have booked another location. We complained and asked for a swap of apartment, fortunately they worked it out, swapped some people around and we had a much better stay the next night at opposite side of the building. i still feel very ripped off though paying that much money for annoying hinder and noise, throughout evening and even at night (3am) on our first night. The apartment itself was ok (2BR). It is a bit dated, but most importantly clean. Our first apartment was quite dark/little daylight but the second one had a glass dining area which was nice. The lighting plan was poor with one floor lamp only and harsh bright ceiling lights. That leaves little atmosphere but if you plan to be away most of the time it's something you can overcome. On a plus, location was good and beds were comfortable.

Bit disappointed with the 24 hour building right outside my room, hard to get much sleep. Shower in my room was also poor, nothing rates accommodation like a good shower, maybe change the nozzle? Staff were great!

The apartment itself was great, plenty of space and an amazing view. It was clean and provided all the amenities you need. However, we experienced a not well working WiFi, which was unexpected for such a apartment and in a big city (it was a point for us as we needed to get some work done). In addition the aircon was not working well and it was with 18 degrees way too cold especially when there with a toddler. Also, you should currently consider to book or at least check where your room is located (if river view) you will have a 24/7 construction site directly in front which you can year all night (not ideal for people who really care about her sleep quality). It was a bit sad that this was not even mentioned. On the other side, for all our inquiries regarding heating & WiFi, the staff was super friendly and helpful (even if they were not able to sort it out for our stay). I would book this apartment again as it is located perfectly for exploring the city, but checking on all these before.

Location great. Very central. Loved heated pool. Wi-fi extremely poor. Had to use data on my phone to stream the television. Could not even watch Channel 9 on the tv. Spent more time to get the tv to work than to have a holiday in Brisbane. Staff was helpful but could not not resolve the poor wi-fi signal.

Good location but that is about it. About 40 story's tall. A wait from a high floor takes 10-15 mins to bottom in peak times. Queues were at the bottom to get to higher floors. We had a safe in our room that was locked upon arrival. A call to reception to get it unlocked resulted in the staff member telling me my room doesn't have one. Funny that I was actually looking at the safe in our room at the time, which I informed her of. About 15 mins later a staff member (from cleaning I think) attended, had no key or electronic unlock system to get into the safe and he said that it couldn't be unlocked. He said that the key might be at reception, maintenance or cleaning but he didn't know. I asked that he check and have someone come and resolve the problem as I had PC equipment, hard drives and jewellery that needed to be placed in there. His answer - OK. I never saw him again or anyone else about the problem. I had to carry all my stuff around Brisbane because this particular place couldn't be bothered to send someone to fix it. I've never had that experience in any of the 1000+ hotels I've stayed at for work and pleasure in my life. There is also a bar fridge in the room (clear glass door type) to place beers etc in. Turned off inside the fridge so not working, and after 10 mins searching for the power point it was located in a rear cupboard and the plug had been pulled from the socket so no one could use it My wife and I will never stay at an Oaks apartment again.

This is a great place to stay. Very central and easy access to a range of activities. We had an issue with the shower not working and were quickly relocated to another room. Staff were very helpful.

The location of this hotel is close to Queen St mall with plenty of restaurants nearby. I stayed on the 21st floor with no issues re lifts or outside noise. I had an issue with the television not working which was promptly fixed by the reception staff member- extremely helpful. It is a safe hotel with keycard required to operate the lifts and front door of an evening. The road outside of the hotel is closed due to construction work be undertaken, it did not impact me. Definitely would recommend this hotel

Staff were terrific, property itself was pretty good, it was clean, it was comfortable, and I definitely would stay there again. My only issue (and probably more due to my hormones) is I couldn't seem to get the A/C working to my comfort levels. There is plenty of eateries around the area so if you really didn't want to dirty the kitchen there were plenty of options.

Car parking at $45 is high. Some local public places only $20. But no good when you find the next day. The TV didnt work and the night reception person was really fussed. No hair dryer. Breakfast starts at $35.

Good location. Walking distance to food, shops and bars. Spa and pool nice. Beds comfy. However ‘welcome’ bottle of wine was undrinkable. No hand or pool/spa towels were provided and despite saying 3 single adults were using the room, there were only two king beds so had to pay additional $60 AU for a foldaway. Would have preferred an option when booking to choose two twin beds in one room or at least have a foldaway couch.

Arrived late in the evening and had a super friendly & swift check in. Room upgraded to a 2 b/r unit from a 1 b/r unit, and received a courtesy bottle of wine due to m'ship. Room was spacious, comfortable, and fairly clean (not necessarily dirty, but bathrooms dated so appears not as clean). Stay was comfortable, close to all amenities & food/shopping, and parking easy underneath the hotel for a cost. My experience became negative an hour before check out. Hotel charged us again (almost twice as much as fees already paid) and lots of proof of previous payment requested before they would consider looking into it. We spent over an hour trying to find all said documents required only to find hotel staff had clearly realised their mistake and refunded the charges. No apologies, no communication, no nothing. Then at 9.45am (Check out is 10.00am) banging on our door from service staff requesting to clean our room. I advised we had not checked out yet but he continued to say he was here now. I told him no and he walked off. We opened the door to check out a short time later to find all of his cleaning supplies still sitting outside our room blocking the entire doorway to which we had to move it all to get out of our room. Trip hazard, dangerous and down right rude to say the least. Check out downstairs, no acknowledgement or apologies for over charging, just gave me a reciept and said will take a few days to go back in. Very disappointing after an otherwise nice stay.
