Very tired, definitely needs a renovation. Definitely not 5* quality. We had to get them to mop our bathroom as there were still stains on the floor. Swimming pool, steam room & change rooms dirty and very tired. Layers of dust and cobwebs throughout the building. Overall cleanness was very poor. Staff all very pleasant and extremely friendly and welcoming.

Hotel was fully booked at the time of stay. We paid a premium to stay one night but were put in a room above the spa and sauna which was very noisy up until 10pm. The blinds were broken. Breakfast was not great.

Best pool and best bed in the world and l have travelled far and wide. A little maintenance required around the property required, eg at the bottom of the pool pillars are rotting. Corridors needed vacuuming. But overall a beautiful relaxing stay.

The pool and breakfast were great. Very friendly staff. Loved exploring the mansion and gardens. Enjoyed our short walk to Shadowfax Winery for an informative wine tasting. We will visit the zoo on our next stay.

We so loved the grounds and the Weribee Mansion and Farm as well as the fact that the Park zoo and Shadowfax winery were within walking distance. It was also great having the pool and pool table!

Wanted rest and peace, left the hotel with more stress and anxiety: this hotel had no hot water and I followed up 6 times without any call backs/solutions. The pool was out of order, the rooms are not soundproof so it was very noisy at night and we could not sleep! Reception showed zero care whatsoever despite the unpleasant experience - this was unacceptable!

Wanted rest and peace, left the hotel with more stress and anxiety: this hotel had no hot water and I followed up 6 times without any call backs/solutions. We stayed her for two nights and the building and grounds around were beautiful and well kept. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed we both found was super comfortable. An easy 10 min walk to the zoo which was good but really busy. The buffet breakfast was good. The only negative was that there was some mice poo on the window ledge behind the coffee machine. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it very relaxing and definitely recommend.

Positives - garden surrounds are amazing. Pool was nice and big and clean. Negatives - Bed was wayyyy too soft. Bath/shower space pretty small, knocked elbows on the glass.

The heritage room is quite small compared to other hotels of the same class. The garden is very nice and close to all the tourist attractions in Werribee. The cleanliness of the bathroom can be improved. Additionally there are no main lights except the side table lights, so it's a bit dark.

Hotel was okay but badly in need of a refresh. Room blinds very dusty. Carpets old and look shabby. No fan in bathroom. Bathroom light switch in an inconvenient place. Bathroom door didn’t close fully and without a fan was a bit awkward. Breakfast was very good but dinner at hotel restaurant was fancy and not family friendly.

The building and service were fantastic with possibly the most comfortable mattresses I have ever experienced in a hotel but the rooms weren’t luxurious - quite tiny and in need of a refurbishment to improve cleanliness

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the surroundings magnificent. The service was also excellent. Shame they don’t allow guests to access their own Netflix accounts and instead charge a fortune to watch a movie. Overall happy.

The property is lovely the restaurant is too expensive but the food is really nice the stand out is the staff they are all so professional personable polite and friendly nothing is too much trouble they really make you feel at home in particular Victor at the restaurant is wonderful and treats you with such curtesy and is so efficient he is a real asset to the property

The property is lovely the restaurant is too expensive but the food is really nice the stand out is the staff they are all so professional personable polite and friendly nothing is too much trouble they really make you feel at home in particular Victor at the restaurant is wonderful and treats you with such curtesy and is so efficient he is a real asset to the property

The Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The setting was also amazing. Unfortunately the mattress in our room felt like you were sleeping on a jellyfish. It was so soft and unsupportive that you sank down into it. Needless to say we had a terrible night's sleep. Using the shower over bath was also an accident waiting to happen. The curved floor of the bath was very slippery and there was no hold rail so you had to be very careful when stepping in and out. Both these factors made our stay much less enjoyable than it otherwise should have been.

Wanted rest and peace, left the hotel with more stress and anxiety: this hotel had no hot water and I followed up 6 times without any call backs/solutions. The pool was out of order, the rooms are not soundproof so it was very noisy at night and we could not sleep! Reception showed zero care whatsoever despite the unpleasant experience - this was unacceptable!

The property was very pretty and super close to Werribee zoo which was very convenient. Buffet breakfast was nice and the Main Street of Werribee was only a 5-10min drive. Rooms are small but clean.

Beautiful accommodation and grounds. The mansion is simply perfect. The rooms were a little smaller than anticipated, but beautiful and well appointed. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We had dinner in the bar, the service was very slow unfortunately, two of our four meals came out nearly an hour apart and we had to follow up the other two with kitchen staff. The bar staff were lovely.

Hotel was fully booked at the time of stay. We paid a premium to stay one night but were put in a room above the spa and sauna which was very noisy up until 10pm. The blinds were broken. Breakfast was not great.

The mansion is a beautiful place to stay, the grounds to walk around on and the building it’s self makes it feel like you’re back in time. The hertiage room is incredibly tiny, but does the trick if you’re only staying for one night. The restaurant Joseph’s was amazing for dinner and breakfast, though dinner options are very limited re: costs if you’re not wanting to spend a small fortune (ours was $278 for two people with a cocktail each!) the tour was a nice tough and Shadowfax winery is a short stroll from the mansion for a wine tasting.

Hotel was okay but badly in need of a refresh. Room blinds very dusty. Carpets old and look shabby. No fan in bathroom. Bathroom light switch in an inconvenient place. Bathroom door didn’t close fully and without a fan was a bit awkward. Breakfast was very good but dinner at hotel restaurant was fancy and not family friendly.

A total rip-off. Terribly presented breakfast. When we booked they did not say it was through an agent, we changed part of the booking and could not get our money refunded. It is no good complaining about service as there is no service there. Cost us a fortune to stay there when they brag they are doing specials at the moment.

The hotel is lovely . All the inclusions, tour of the original mansion , bottle of wine in room , courtesy drinks at the bar were greatly appreciated. The magnesium pool and spa were perfect . Restaurant meals limited however all were perfect . The grounds surrounding the hotel are wonderful for walking , having a picnic or just enjoying . On leaving the hotel we spent the day at the open plains zoo which is 5 minutes away . Recommend this hotel for a relaxing night or more .

Wonderful over night stay with a group of friends . We began with a delightful late lunch in the mansion cafe . Followed this with a stroll through the beautiful grounds and gardens, touring the original mansion ( free for hotel guests) and finally relaxing in the heated magnesium pool completed our afternoon . Our dinner began with complementary drinks Im the hotel bar before moving to Joseph’s restaurant for a five star dinner . I must give a huge compliment to Jai our young waiter who was so delightful and helpful . Dinner was excellent and certainly up to the standard you would expect . With dinner completed we moved on for a game of pool on the full sized table located in an upstairs lounge area . As we are a group of 70 year old ladies this proved interesting and a very slow game !!! A few fell asleep prior to completing the game however a lot of fun was had by all … Next morning we indulged in a lovely buffet style breakfast ( included in the booking ) . We checked out by 10 am and headed to a very fun day at the Werribee Zoo . I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel for any special occasion although we would probably stay at least two nights next time .

Look for a small sign near the ground to the left of the zoo gate. Head down gravel road which needs lighting. Good range of breakfast but food was mostly cold. Warmer basically did nothing. Was nice to visit the mansion.
